CRAVE - Rochester Rochester Reviews
This is a nice place for a civilized dinner. Perfect for good food and conversation. I had the Chicken Stir Fry which was exactly as it should be. Spouse had the Wedge Salad which was bright with flavor. Drinks accompanied our meal. Will look forward to going back.
SO good! I got a mix of apps and honestly it was such a girl-dinner moment and I loved every bite. The fries were cooked to perfection, the garlic aioli was dangerously addictive, the edamame was simple but delicious, and the firecracker shrimp was crispy, flavorful, and totally addicting too! I’ve also had their mac and cheese before and it’s to die for. Their martinis are great, and I love the rooftop seating, such a vibe, especially on nice nights.
From the wonderful open air atrium with a view to the fantastic sushi and attentive service, CRAVE really is something to crave. It got everything that I wanted, and delivered be it drinks or food. An extra thanks to the server Adrien who made it so much better.
I went to Crave for bday lunch with friends, and everything was excellent from service to food, and mocktails. I will definitely come back to try more!!
Food was great! Korean Chicken Bowl is fantastic and my wife always enjoys the lobster Mac and cheese.
Great food, great atmosphere and great service you really can’t go wrong with a stop here! I stopped in for a casual late lunch early dinner, I was dressed very casually and still seated it was a nice day and I actually got to sit outside which was amazing! i did the pick 3 off the menu and would highly recommend it was such a great value!
I love Crave! This restaurant is in a convinent location walk in and become wonderful! Immaculate dining experience and extremely luxurious decor.
Great experience for our anniversary! It was hard to narrow down what to order as the great variety of menu options were plentiful and all sounded delicious. We also chose to take the Towering Chocolate Cake home to celebrate. I'm a baker, but the frosting on the cake is so incredibly smooth and well-flavored. The chocolate cake had great moisture, too. The waygu burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Service was professional and fast! We never had to ask for anything as our waitress was on top of every possible need. The wait after ordering was better than expected for such a large space with at least 70 other restaurant patrons. The atmosphere was fun, clean, and modern. It was pretty loud in the area we were seated, but it still felt intimate. Wonderful experience. You'll love it too!
Crave Rochester is one of my go-to spots, especially during happy hour. The food and drinks are always on point, but what really keeps me coming back is the service. Darion is hands down one of the best servers I’ve had anywhere — they have an amazing memory and always remember preferences, which makes every visit feel personal. Darion is consistently kind, helpful, and incredibly considerate. Truly top-tier service that elevates the entire experience. Highly recommend!
DWTN MPLS natives and we love 💕 Crave!! This is our FAVORITE location. The decor , ambiance, and service …..sheer perfection. In true Crave form, the food is impeccable and always delicious. We like to have dessert FIRST and especially love the gorgeous Tiramisu and the fabulous Towering Chocolate Cake. Always RECOMMEND 💯.
Absolutely amazing! I don't normally review places, but it was outstanding in service, food, and atmosphere. The firecracker shrimp and the s'mores brownie especially were great. The lighting is perfect, not dim enough to obscure sight, but not bright enough to cause you to squint no matter where you look, even at the lights, and the overall atmosphere presents a lovely combination of refined and casual. The service was magnificent. Very attentive, but not so attentive as to move to pushy. We very much enjoyed our experience on all fronts.
We went here for my birthday and I had the best food I've had in a restaurant. I'm allergic to dairy and egg. I had the vegan flatbread and added sausage it was incredible. Honestly I thought for a second it had dairy because it was so creamy but it was vegan. So yummy!
The ambiance was nice, its also located inside hotel indigo just fyi. The service was great and our server was so patient and polite along with the man at the door especially with asking for addtional stuff. We got the fried rice, sticky wings, volcano rolls and chicken marsala. The rolls are always a hit and the sticky wings were delicious. The fried rice was okay it was just missing sprouts or something that I was used to. The chicken marsala was different, bland and contained a chicken wing. Other than that, i think it was a great choice. We topped it with wine.
Our first time at CRAVE for a NYE dinner. The ambience is nice but not quite what I was expecting. TVs over the bar ruin what could be a really chic setting. Sushi was good - we had the Volcano Roll and the Surfer Roll. Calamari was fine - the sauce on the side has a nice kick! The drink menu has some excellent choices - perhaps a little less strong than we would like but good flavors all around. The smoked Manhattan has a fun presentation (though be warned there is a lot of smoke and if you are sensitive to smoke I would not order this). Service wasn't very attentive, but no real complaints.
I love the welcoming this place felt, the menu have plenty of options.
We visited this restaurant in Rochester today and had a pleasant experience overall. We sat in the patio seating with a glass ceiling and windows, which offered a wonderful view. However, the chairs were not that comfortable. For starters, we ordered a few dishes to share: Calamari: 8/10 Seaweed Salad: 8/10 Crispy Brussels Sprouts: 9/10 Truffle Parmesan Fries: 8/10 For the main course, we tried: Premium Bento Box (Spicy Salmon): 9/10 Korean Chicken Bowl: 8/10 We also took the Coconut Original Cake for dessert to-go, and it was spectacular—definitely a 10/10. The food overall was good, though nothing particularly outstanding. The staff were polite but could have been more engaging with customers to improve the dining experience. That said, I would return.
My wife and I went there on a Sunday evening for dinner. I really enjoy their sushi and was pleasantly surprised by their 3 roll special. I had the sushi (2 - volcano rolls and a bamboo bite), my wife had the lettuce wrap (appetizer). Everything was delicious! Service was great. And the atmosphere was quiet.
We came here because we were craving sushi and ordered two rolls, but unfortunately the rice was really mushy, which was disappointing. On the bright side, the flatbread and tacos were tasty, and the atmosphere and service were both great. Just wish the sushi rice had been better.
We decided to have lunch at Crave as we were passing through Rochester. We were sat in the upper room with what seemed like a floating floor. Right away we noticed the smell of what can be compared to a McDonalds play place or back of a fast food restaurant. I looked around and noticed that the floor was very dirty with food stuck in between the floating floor pieces. We ordered the spinach dip which was good but at the price point you would expect that it would come pita chips or bread however it came with some very cheap, heavily broken small pieces of tortilla chips. For the main course I ordered the stir fry and my husband ordered the bison burger. The stir fry was pretty bland, the chicken on it was the best part. The Bison Burger was inedible - yes, we’ve had bison before. It had a very weird taste and odor to it and was very overcooked. I did mention to the waitress that it was not good, with two bites taken out of it. She offered to remake it but we declined due to time and not being hopeful of the outcome. In the end we ended up paying a good amount for the horrible burger and subpar experience. Unfortunately we will not be back and will have to stick with our favorites - Victorias and Canadian Honker.
This was not a good meal. In town for some medical appointments and went here out of location convenience. The atmosphere is alright but the tiles on the floor weren't affixed and the chairs we sat in scraped when getting in and out. Decent view though. Server seemed a bit distracted and not just at our table. They gave us a happy hour menu which we were there in time for but then they took it away citing that was only for the bar area. Another table had something similar with a special was offered but no longer available. My wife ordered chicken fried rice and I got the double smash burger with a salad. Food comes out and my burger was dripping in grease and was borderline rare. Smash burgers should be thin with crispy edges (hence the smash) but was not that way. The salad was good but barely anything there. I ate my salad in 3 bites. The chicken fried rice was LOADED with slivers of mushrooms even though the description did not say that it included that (which she hates). Also thought it was a bit weird that the water they served was lukewarm and no ice available. We will not be going back or recommending it to anyone.
