Nosh Rochester Reviews
Had a pleasant evening with a dinner for two, the food was delicious. Likewise the drinks Great spot!
There were 5 of us and each had a different pizza/dish. All were delicious! Definitely returning for more! The tuna appetizer was So Good!!
Good food with splendid presentation. It’s a bit loud in here so you have speak with louder voices.
We went to dinner at Nosh last night with a group of 20 people. Our server’s name was Brad and he was outstanding. He didn’t miss a beat and was on top of the multiple drink orders which accompanied the appetizer and main course requests. He memorized all the orders and get them to all the right people without making a single mistake. He was kind and accommodating, particularly when it came to the checks. A server is often the face of a restaurant and Nosh is lucky to have an asset like Brad. Thank you, and see you again soon!
Amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere and food were excellent, and our phenomenal waitress was the cherry on top. Her vibe truly elevated the entire evening.
Nosh is terrific. One of our favorites in town. The atmosphere is lively, the location is easy, and the vibes an upbeat. The menu is great. Ahi tuna nachos are the best bang for the buck in Rochester. The cocktails are fun. And lastly, the tomahawk steak is outstanding
Mickayla provided outstanding customer service throughout our visit. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Her drink-making skills are great. Each drink was thoughtfully crafted and tasted excellent. She paid close attention to detail, anticipated our needs, and carried herself with a positive, professional attitude. Mickayla is truly an asset and greatly enhances the overall guest experience at this establishment.
Was looking for a nice sit-down restaurant for me and my wife and I found this place last night their special was prime rib I ordered that and my wife ordered the Salmon plate, the prime rib was amazing they cooked it perfectly I like mine med-rare the servings were perfect I love their unique twist they put on their meals . I tried the salmon too and was not disappointed this place was definitely worth visiting, and we will be back for prime rib night again! Make sure to make a reservation!
Really nice experience here, made reservations and we're seated early. Korean sit down and calamari for starters which both were outstanding, opted for the 45oz tomahawk dinner and it was more than plenty. Service was friendly and accommodating, there were a lot of patrons who seemed to be enjoying their meals and leaving happy. First time here and would recommend.
This is one of our favorite places to go. The food and appetizers are always one of a kind and fantastic. The service is top notch. The drinks are always great as well. Can’t go wrong with a dinner or happy hour here. My favorite appetizer is the Ahi nachos!
We went for date night and sat in the garden room. Our waiter Gio was amazing! So sweet and attentive! The food was delicious (we had the Korean sit down - which was a very large portion to share, would suggest splitting with ideally 4+ people or could be a full entree for 2, the tomahawk, and the gnocchi). The garden room was very cozy; they had good music playing in the background! Can’t wait to come back!
Food was incredible and full of flavor. Cioppino had the most flavorful seafood and the bread on the side was a show of its own. Duck was cooked beautifully and the mash was great in both texture and taste. Cocktails were both smooth and had great flavors. Everything was made better by the service. Brad was attentive, made great recommendations, and just overall the best service we’ve ever had. Would come back! Well worth the money spent!
✨Dinner diaries at @NoshRochester ✨ Started with crispy cauliflower & Korean sit-down apps that actually filled the table (and our hearts). Skipped the bar rush, but our server brought the vibe and the cocktails fast 💨 Bone marrow for the main; rich, buttery, and bougie… but don’t come hungry if that’s your only pick 😅 Ambience: 10/10 Food: Flavorful & photo-worthy 📸 Would nosh again? Absolutely. ✔️
Our experience at Nosh was truly delightful. We tried the Soy Glaze Tofu, Just Rick Pizza, and Porto Loco-each dish boasting its own distinct and amazing flavor. The Just Rick Pizza, in particular, stood out as one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. The cocktail menu was equally captivating; we tried the Cowboy Killer, a fantastic mix of mezcal and brandy that made for an excellent combination. A memorable meal from start to finish!
Nosh absolutely delivered on every level. The food was nothing short of phenomenal— we ordered the Korean Sit Down and the Pollo Loco. Both dishes were packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, making the whole experience even better. And the ambience was on point—stylish, warm, and the perfect vibe for dinner with friends. I want to revisit Rochester just to eat here!
Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing—bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The cocktails were top-notch, perfectly crafted and delicious. On top of that, the ambiance was stunning, with a warm, stylish vibe. Stellar service made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend! *Gratuity added for parties of 7 or more. 3% charge if paying with credit card.*
First time dinning at Nosh- our server provided helpful recommendations and was very attentive- in spite of being busy. The food is quite good- honestly, the cioppino di mare (a seafood stew) and the belly ache alone are worth trying Nosh. The cioppino was presented with perfectly crisp, yet soft bread, extremely fresh perfectly prepared seafood- seriously, where do they get their shrimp? The broth- omg…. I just want a bowl of that! The skin on braised pork belly - the belly ache- good god- nice job! Beautifully prepared and excellent flavor! Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of the Austin powers- the flavor is a bit redundant and it was just missing something. However, given the quality of the other dishes- perhaps this was just a personal preference. Regarding their featured cocktails- eh- lol Overall, I would rate Nosh, a 4.5- however, given our friendly server and prompt service- I’ll round up. Definitely will try Nosh again in the future.

This is a really interesting restaurant in Rochester. Food was Asian fusion and full of interesting flavours. Excellent service and a fun time for all.

Large bar. Korean inspired food mixed with steaks, burgers, non traditional pizza and even a Mexican appetizer. We had pork belly buns which were the largest we have seen and some of the best tasting and thickest pork belly I’ve ever had (3 in an order). Delicious. The Mexican carne sarda on a tortilla was good but cold. The bone marrow was well done with a nice presentation but hardly any food for the price. Eggplant/sausage/ricotta pizza was awesome with charred dough and taste great overall but can’t taste any eggplant. Drinks were done perfectly. Extreme loud in there which is the biggest issue. Seabass was incredible and cooked perfectly- nice flavors but overwhelming so you don’t really taste the fish. Glass Noodles and steak was a hit with our son. Wayu smash burger was insane and super tender. Unfortunately, the sticky ribs was a disappointment. Some of the ribs had no meat at all, and the kimchi potato salad was gross. Way too expensive for what you get. The hundred dollar tomahawk steak is overpriced considering it’s all pre-cut so the meat is cold by time you eat it. Fried dough nibs were too hard and not as good as other places. Seemed frozen and pre made. Service was fantastic. Ryan our waiter was great. People were dressed casual. But you’re going to see all types on the spectrum in this place. Not classy at all. Overall it was good. Spent $323 for 4 people before taxes. Owner came around to make sure everything was ok. She is very nice. The large multi people $50 appetizer called the Korean sit down is great as well.
*pizza only review* I appreciate the Neapolitan 2.0 style pizza here. Very likely a Nuvola Super flour, the gluten structure was off the charts. Looks very pretty, although my pizza was a bit over-charred on one side. Well cooked, but the bottom was slightly hard, prob due to the cold rise/temp going in the oven. Very good quality cheese, clean simple sauce and perfect balance on the toppings. Excellent crumb and chew. A little light on dough flavor/salt. Overall a solid Neapolitan and would def order again

We had great food and drinks but unfortunately watching a mouse run around the dining room at the end of our meal is what we'll always remember.
The food was just ok. This to me is unacceptable when you are paying $50-$60 per entree (this does NOT include drinks and/or apps/salads). I had the Tom Yum Stew which was ok. Good flavor but the s…
Food was very good, waiter was very attentive. I would recommend this place for sure. It is a little pricey for wine and food. The happy hour looks good, I would try that next time for sure!

While the service it excellent, ask for Beth or Jasmine, the food quality has gone significantly down hill the last 6 months. As they continue to modify the menu with new dishes every couple of months, with each iteration the selection and quality decline. Some of the best dishes that kept me coming back are no longer on the menu.
It was ok. I think they are overpriced on several of their items. The menu isn't that big. The food was good but not I wouldn't go back and pay that much again. Our server was polite. It seems like it's more of an upscale bar than a restaurant
Nosh has 2 rooms, the main room and the back room. If you do not have reservations you will sit in the back room, it’s much quieter and better for talking but has an entirely different vibe and seems a bit sterile. The tuna nachos were very tasty, could have honestly been my dinner because it was so good. I got the ravioli but it was waaaaay too salty for me. The flavor was good, the pop of sweetness with the apple was a great addition, just too salty. Didn’t hit me until i ate 2 raviolis and had to down my drink. The steak was also waaaaay too chewy for me. Unsure if I got a fatty piece but for $65 I was expecting a bit more. Total price for dinner is a little too steep for what we got. Lily was our server and she was good.
Food was amazing with great cozy vibes. Our dinner was fulfilling and tasty despite the lone wait.
The GOOD: Decent food. The BAD: but the place is very noisy and seating is like a cafeteria. I would not recommend it for an anniversary celebration or people wanting to share a quiet meal together. …
Yikes. My tongue is still numb from how spicy my food was (tofu buns and green cury). I usually like spicy food, but these were so spicy they were borderline inedible. I had to take my curry home so I could mix it with cream to lower the heat before I could eat it. My wife also hated her gnocchi which we believe didn't have any salt because bit tasted extremely bland. It's a shame because I would have enjoyed my meal if not for the spice level. I'm still giving two stars because the service was decent and the atmosphere was great.
