Roam Cafe Rochester Reviews
Went here for the first time recently to grab a quick lunch with a friend and loved it. Such a cute little spot with great vibes - I imagine it can get really busy during a dinner service - I had their Mediterranean mule and love it! Their take on having a lot of "Mediterranean diet" options was great. Will definitely be returning for brunch or dinner soon hopefully.
Great food and service. Visiting for an event, was feeling out of place. Roam makes you feel at home
Always have a great time when I am there, food is good, staff is attentive!
Everything at ROAM was outstanding, from the service to the food. Options for everyone. Best bruschetta I've ever had! Highly recommend.
Great neighborhood vibe with delicious food to hit every palate. Be sure to end your meal with an espresso martini, sooo good!
Super cute! Food was delicious! Lived the sidewalk outside seating as it was a beautiful July workday. Walked with coworker over for lunch and everything was delicious. Highly recommend!
I loved the chicken pesto tortellini and arancini! The portion was a good size and we also enjoyed the wine. We were seated quickly during dinner time! Parking can be hard to find given the downtown location, but it was worth it.
Very nice place to come and eat. Vibe was chill and the servers were attentive but not overbearing. We both got appetizers. They were decently priced and huge enough for a meal. I got bruchetta and it was delicious. Will be coming back here for sure!
Welcoming environment, friendly staff, comfortable space. Good signature cocktails and the food we ordered was great.
We have driven and walked by this place a million times (a little exaggerated) - But a Lot ! And we're glad we finally stopped in because, it's worth it !! Great Appetizers - The fried Artichokes were very tasty, fresh and not at all greasy. The fried Duck Wings were very good and not over-done !! We also tried the Chicken Parmesan sandwich because we had ordered 3 appetizers to try between the both of us, so we figured we would order a small entree and share it. It was fresh and the chicken was not dried out. After dinner, I ordered a cup a coffee and - WOW !!!! Not all what I was expecting. For 23 years my wife and I have been to many many restaurants - ROAM'S coffee is the BEST !!! At first I thought the server brought me a Guinness served in a coffee cup because it had a light brown head about an inch thick. So I asked our server, "What's this - Is this a Cuppacino or something ?" And she looked at me and said it's our version of a cup of coffee - Give it a try. When I took a sip, I grinned ear to ear !! - If you don't like their menu, please just try their coffee !!!
Roam was awesome. I picked this place because they offer Paleo items and I am doing Keto. While the two are not mutually exclusive, it does make it easier and also means the chef/staff are more aware of what's in the items if you ask questions. Had a gorgonzola ribeye that was on special... Cooked perfectly and oh so good. The hot and dirty martinis are amazing. Great staff, service, ambience and food! Will definitely return next time I'm in Rochester.
Felt really lucky last night landing at Roam Cafe for a spontaneous Saturday night Prime Rib night after a LOOONG day at seabreeze with the kiddos! First the service! Thank you Christina/Kristina for the 5 star treatment, you were outstanding!! Second of all the ESPRESSO MARTINI was SOOOO SMOOTH and DELICIOUS! Easily the BEST I’ve ever had, taking the new FIRST PLACE spot for me dropping my original favorite I had in punta cana DR ! Lastly the PRIME RIB!! DELICIOUS! It’s my favorite entree choice I get it anytime I see it on a menu, so my night was made already then MY First and Second points above made it even better! Being able to choose from so many delicious sides also, (including healthy options in case you wanted to try to keep up your diet like me at this time) I ordered the sweet potato mash/hash and spinach . Thank you Roam Cafe for the 5 STAR ACCOMMODATIONS- HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Had an excellent dinner! Two of us had the strip steak special which was huge and cooked perfectly. Sides were good size portions and everything tasted delicious. One had smothered chicken which they said was delicious. We started with the fried calamari which had excellent flavor. Make reservations as it is a very small restaurant and you likely will not be seated without one. We would absolutely go again.
We ate here twice while in town. The food, service and drinks were excellent both times. Drew even graciously coordinated a group gathering for us at Classic, across the street, on very short notice. Everything was delicious and the staff were wonderful.
We can’t thank Roam Café and Drew enough for the way they cared for our family during a very difficult time. After my nephew’s funeral, they graciously hosted a group of 25 of us for lunch with very little notice. Everything was managed with professionalism and care. They quickly set up a beautiful space for us outside on the patio. The service was both attentive and seamless. Drew and the team made sure we were comfortable and that everything went smoothly. This allowed our family to focus on being together and remembering our loved one. We are so grateful for their kindness and hospitality; it truly meant a lot to us. I would highly recommend Roam Café not only for their great food and setting but also for the way they go out of their way for their guests.
I went for brunch with a friend. We didn’t have reservations (ooops) but we were able to sit at the bar. We both got omelets with home fries which were delicious! The omelet had a lot of fillings and a good amount of cheese. We also got the carafe of mimosas. We didn’t get an espresso martini but saw a lot being made and they looked delish. I will be back for brunch and can’t wait to try dinner.
I had a great time! I met some friends here for brunch, and the staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. We had some drinks by ourselves and for the table, and then were fantastic. Prices were comparable for other trendy brunch places. I will say that it took a while for our food to come out, but by the time we were done eating, there were empty tables so we were able to sit around and chat.
Even though we didn’t make a reservation for a busy day like Val’s, they managed to get us a seat to enjoy their delicious food
The food is yet to disappoint! Always wonderful, and the staff is amazing. I suggest trying the special. I have never had one that was not delicious.
What are the incredible first time for us to enjoy a night out together we had never come in here before and we wish we would’ve years ago the meatballs were incredible the spinach dip was crispy but still very creamy the pasta was gluten-free and the salmon was perfectly cooked also the plates were bigger than your head and it was worth every penny
Everytime I come to Rochester I like to come here for brunch. They have a very good brunch menu and drinks. I like their omelets and eggs Benedict and they offer a heavenly fruit parfait with the best yogurt, very creamy. The service is friendly and efficient. It can get crowded on the weekends so call to reserve.
We had a fabulous girls night with amazing food!!!! Started it off with some great drinks and Buff Cauliflower and Bruchetta for apps. We had smothered chicken, 2 steak dinners, a salad and a pasta and shrimp dish. All were 5 thumbs up (we were a party of 5 haha) Would definitely recommend!!!!
The food was very good, but what stands out is the speed at which it was served. It came out within 5 minutes of me ordering it and it was not pre-prepped and microwaved…it was freshly prepared and generally excellent. High quality. The service was very good. Great vibe. Keep up the good work.
Had a great first-time dinner at the end of January and was back the first week in February bringing in people for lunch. On our first visit, a Friday night, We ordered the fish fry and red snapper special. The FF was big, perfectly done, and tasty. The red snapper was both flavorful and colorful. The prices are realistic and easy on the wallet and the wait staff is great--they don't hover but are attentive. Liked it so much we were back for lunch with friends the next week. Consistently good so far. Well worth a try.
I had the most delicious lunch at Roam! It was difficult to decide what to get as the entire menu looked amazing. The interior is so cozy and quaint. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our server was fantastic - very accommodating. As it was an early lunch, I didn't have a cocktail but definitely plan to on my next visit! I ordered the soup of the day which was a chicken gumbo. It had just the right amount of spice without it being too spicy. Chock full of shredded chicken. I also ordered the Arancini. My server warned me they were “softball size” but ordered two anyway. They weren't kidding! They were lightly breaded (but had a crunch) and served with a blush sauce with shaved Parmesan. Melted mozzarella oozed out when I cut into it. AHmazing! The second person in my party ordered the Cranberry Chicken salad wrap that he loved and the third ordered the Turkey BLT. Thick cut turkey breast (not lunch meat), beefsteak tomato and the most beautiful looking bacon with perfectly seasoned fries. Wow! I can not wait to go back! If you haven't been - GO!
Nice tables outside and the food was delicious. Would definitely go again to have more things on the menu. The crab cake and soup were both great.
GREAT FOOD! Great Drinks! Great Place! Great Service! The food always wows me! Pictured here is Chicken Cordon Bleu and outside dining but the last trip was inside! One of the great things (post covid) is there was enough staff AND they were super helpful and happy people. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
A great lunch experience! One of those places you might walk by a million times. I definitely was missing out! I got the turkey BLT with the cucumber tomato salad for $15 and it was delectable! The thick cuts of turkey breast were perfect. Would definitely go back for dinner or drinks!
I had the most delicious pizza. Ingredients fresh and proportioned, service prompt and friendly. The Cabernet was delicious! Atmosphere welcoming and chill. I'll be back.
Such a Rochester gem. Super delicious food. You must try the fries!!! Some favorites and some new dishes you will want to try! Yes open Mondays! Dinner or Lunch or cocktails you won't be disappointed. Charming inside. Casual. Outside seating when nice out. Lunch today with colleagues...chicken parm sandwich w/ cucumber tomatoe salad - chicken salad w/cranberries wrap with amazing fries- Winter salad with chicken. All yummy!
First time in Rochester and ate here based on photos in the reviews. The staff was super friendly and was very cute with our baby throughout the meal. Super attentive and the food itself was amazing. Highly recommend the pesto chicken.
My husband and I don’t make it into the city too often, but when we do, Roam on Park Ave is always a go-to. The food and drinks are always great, and I’m obsessed with their espresso martinis! We came in a few weeks ago and had Kylee as our server — she was fantastic and made the whole night even better. Thanks for another awesome visit!
Went on a Sunday during football season and were welcomed like we were regulars😂 even though it was our first time! The hostess and server were so absolutely friendly and attentive. We had the calamari (best around with spicy aioli sauce!) and the smothered chicken dinner and pork loin meal. So tender and delicious. We will DEFINITELY be back!!
Sea Bass special will change your life. Great place and great service from the initial call to make the last minute reservation to paying the check. The Mrs went for the smothered chicken. Portions are generous size and the crispy artichoke hearts were delicious. Great cocktails as well. We will be back.
Ate here last night for the first time with three friends. It took awhile for our server to take our order but after that things went smoothly. We had a table by ourselves in the back which was fine except for the fact it was by the bathrooms. The wine was superb and my Chicken Parmesan was one of the best around! I will be back.
I have been here twice (once for brunch and, most recently, for dinner). The food and service are great. My friend and I even decided to sit at the bar after we finished dinner. While I had a simple salad, the grilled chicken was seasoned so well that I couldn't stop ranting about it. I appreciated how there were different sizes and types of groups dining there - friends, family, dates, solo, small and large groups. I definitely recommend it!
The food was exceptionally GOOD! Everything brought to our table was great. The only down side is that, maybe because it's not a steak place, the selection of meet is very short, but the good flavor of what you eat makes you forget about that; additionally, the pretzels were too salty, but easily removable, and the person who attended us said next time if we let her know, they can ask not to put too much salt in them. But, again, about flavor and food preparation I think it could be easily the best place around. Good for them! And for us!!! =P
Roam cafe embodies casual class. It is a wonderful choice for a serious business meeting or the joyous reconnection of an old friend alike. I enjoyed the daily special - a chicken penne florentine, I was hopeful to try their Glass Mountain Chardonnay though it was not available by-the-glass tonight. The chicken dish was wonderful. The pasta was impressively tender without being stracotto. The sauce had just enough of a sharpness to balance the subtle sweet of the spinach and peppers. Overall very happy. My fiancé had a fish dish with sweet potato fries and sautéed zucchini - “it was good” she says :) I recommend this location to anyone hopeful for a delicious meal and warm ambiance. Prices are competitive and the food quality held true to their demand.
This place has been on my local restaurants to try for awhile now. It did not disappoint. I went with a couple of my girlfriends, one of which is gluten free. This place was perfect because they have several gluten free and also vegan options for anyone looking for those dietary choices. I started off with the duck wings, which were so much larger than I expected, perfectly crunchy with a somewhat sweet sauce (reminded me of country sweet sauce) which really married the flavors. I chose to have the gnocchi with peas, large thick pieces of fresh pancetta, mushrooms, in a light cream sauce with parmigiana shavings. I needed to add some more seasoning and parmigiana, but ultimately it was good considering it was listed as gluten free. This place is worth a try. It is perfect to go with friends, a romantic dinner, or also great for double dates.
Stopped here on a food tour. We got to try a cocktail, the Arancini, and the Creamy Tomato & Artichoke Bisque. Everything was amazing! I can't wait to go back and try more on their menu! This would be a great restaurant for a date, they have a cozy atmosphere and a bar if you wanted to hangout and have a couple drinks.
My fav place to go to especially during the summer for outside seating great vibe. Big variety a different foods and twists to classic drinks which i like. food is served pretty quick too.

I LOVE Roam cafe. Hands-down the best calamari I've ever had. It is served with a wasabi sauce that is to die for. Drew, Michael, and all the staff are wonderful.

Friday night fried fish is a standout. Appetizers were great. Very busy so make a reservation if you want to eat inside and service is good but busy.
We celebrated mothers day at Roam. We had some delicious mimosa. My eggs Benedict was good, I just wish there was a little more hollandaise sauce. The two omelets were good but the one could have used more sausage and the other had some undercooked veggies inside. Overall we enjoyed our visit.
Clean and welcoming with well-prepared beverages. A dependable place to unwind briefly.
Haven't tried the whole menu but the hangover breakfast pizza is excellent. Very relaxed setting with a nice view of Park Ave. Edit: i have now had the eggs Benedict with shaved prime rib and Tuscan quiche. Spend the money on extra hollandaise, not because they were stingy but because it's good. I ordered my bloody Mary 7/10 spiciness, which could have been spicier, so if you like it hot make sure to order 10/10.
We ordered the pork belly steamed bun appetizer. It was sweet, spicy and delicious. We also shared a $28 bottle of Malbec: reasonably priced. I ordered the Chef's cut prime rib for $40. It was a 20 oz steak, seasoned and cooked (medium well) perfectly. It was served over a bed of sauteed spinach and topped with crumbled blue cheese, bacon and cherry tomatoes. Unfortunately, the blue cheese, bacon and cherry tomatoes did not complement the steak. It also did not come with any starch. So I had to order a side of mashed potatoes for an additional $5. My husband enjoyed his NY strip steak dinner, and my son enjoyed his Chef's cut steak with a side of mac n' cheese.
The food was 10/10-everything from the chicken salad, buffalo cauliflower, sweet potato fries and the chicken sandwich. The best calamari in Rochester..HANDS DOWN! The food came out fresh and hot. Our server was sweet and attentive. We were are tended to by another sweet woman (maybe a manager or owner). The only disappointing part of the visit was the hostess (was also bartending). She was not warm at all and seemed annoyed that we wanted to be seated. She never said hello and quickly put the menus down and walked away. Maybe she was having a bad day or didn't feel like leaving from behind the bar 🤷🏽♀️
We had the Arancini as an appetizer, it's about the size of a baseball and has a gooey cheese center and lots of sauce, it was good but not great. We had the grilled lamb and the prime rib sandwich for our entrees and while the lamb could have used a bit more salt both were delicious. Service was good and the vibe was modern Italian with a dash of uptown. Prime rib was the best thing we had.
I’ve been here for brunch a handful of times and it was always great. However, I went here for dinner the other night for the first time, just for appetizers and wine. The pork steam puns were good, the arancini was ok. I prefer them smaller in groups of 3, theirs is one big one and it’s not as crunchy as I’d like. But man, the crab cakes were terrible. Probably worst I’ve had, hate to say. They should advertise that it’s imitation crab and not real crab meat. Especially considering the price. Not to mention the mayonnaise squeezed on top, never seen that before. It’s supposed to be a Louisiana style remoulade with other seasonings in it. I rate the crab cakes 1/10. I say this only in hopes for the restaurant to get better. Our server was lovely and I will be back again despite not liking one dish.
My server Christine was absolutely amazing and attentive throughout my experience, I was impressed with her professionalism and good energy, so much so that it enraged me when I overheard the bartender, Mischa yelled across the bar at Christine to “pay attention to the door” where she looked away for a millisecond. As someone who has worked in restaurants for over 10 years I felt the tension in the employees interactions the moment I walked in and didn’t understand why until I heard Mischa being disrespectful to Christine. I took the time to ask him to come over and I expressed my concerns and he claimed he would apologize however I highly doubt that he will
Very good but a little expensive. The overall value is good because the cost matches the quality. The Pork shank was excellent, and I heard it's slow roasted for many hours. The burgers are thick and juicy. The appetizers are great. I would go back.
Was downtown one evening with my 9 yo and husband and we needed to get dinner; it was about 7pm. I did a quick search for semi-upscale American eatery’s near me and this place was one of the first few options. Their website contained photos that looked ambient, like it was a ‘popular’ little dine-in place; it looked warm, clean, cozy, as though like it would smell good too. Once we finally found a place to park, which was quite a feat, especially with all the snow we just got, we opened the door and were immediately less than enthused. There were no yummy smells of food cooking and it wasn’t nice ‘n warm feeling. We stood at the door for a couple minutes because nobody greeted us, which was pretty uncomfortable and it’s 5° outside. Anyway, we got seated at a little 4-person wood table by, I think the bartender, and about five minutes later, our waiter came over, who seemed like he was overwhelmed. It did appear he was the only waiter in the place. There were maybe 3 other tables of people who were clearly there to chill and chat, which was cool, but I needed to get my child fed. There’s no kids menu, which was fine because he just had a burger anyway… and there was absolutely nothing special about it, though it did come with green beans :-) the menu was a pretty typical American menu with a smorgasbord of options. I for example, got the crispy artichoke hearts from the appetizer menu, which were decent, and a crabcake from the appetizer menu, which was all breadcrumbs. smh My husband got some sort of fish taco thing which he said was just OK. We ate, but it was definitely nothing to write home about, and no real reason to WANT to go back, especially because there are so many other little restaurants like that around that area. There was nothing stand-out about it. If you just need a quiet, low-key place to go with a couple of people to grab a bite and chat, it’s good enough.
ROAM was very nice, and the food was absolutely delicious. It is a small place, but a cozy one. I think my only complaint was the servers, who seemed a bit frustrated or annoyed. Otherwise, I would recommend this place for the food.
This place is working hard to keep a good name! In my opinion a solid 4.5-4.6 out of 5. They cook all fresh ingredients. Artichoke hearts were awesome. Turkey sandwich was great too. Chritia, the waiter, made my visit enjoyable and provided a great quick service. Also, nice location and seating outside.

First time customer....pleased with food, very good . Each member of our group had something different, and ,all were happy. The service was excellent. Will certainly return in the future.
Lots of really great menu options. Food was delicious. Service left a lot to be desired.
Automatic 20% gratuity for a party of 5 is a bit much, especially if service was terrible. Food is good, but not good enough to make up for the service.
If you see something online that you like make sure to call before you go. I went only for the Gnocchi and checked their official website that same day. Seems their website wasn't updated from their winter menu even though it's July. So, don't trust anything you see on the website. With that being said the server was absolutely amazing and handled my disappointment wonderfully. Would definitely go back, but wouldn't trust anything on their site 🤪
Forgot to take pics. 6 of us out for a bday party and we had a good time. Drinks were stiff - especially the Woodford old Fashioned, damn good! Ok now to the food - meatballs were good, sauce was homemade. Calamari was over cooked and I ended up using the meatball sauce instead of the bland marinara. Duck wings…..meh. Rubbery skin threw me off…..poor Donald. Bones were black - thrown in fryer frozen probably. We were excited about the Sea Bass, 3 of us ordered it. Disappointed when it came. It was broken up into small bite sized pieces!!??!! Pasta was good - sauce was too much. Too many tomatoes, stalks of Thyme, a little bitter?!? A simple lemon butter sauce would have been nice. My wife’s salad was ok - chicken was cold and bland. So truth be told - this was our second chance as we had brought our daughter here for her birthday last year. I like the place but they really need to focus on the taste, quality, and simplicity of the food. Some foods speak for themselves and do not need to be overpowered…..extra point for a good red tomato sauce on the meatballs. Harder to find than you think……

Not from the area in town seeing the Shen Yun performance. Weirdly reservations are needed(this is not shown when searching on Google). So we were asked to sit at the bar. Order crab cakes from appetizers for me and my wife to share. The crab cakes did not have any flavor or seasoning very bland even the sauce that they give you was bland. I ordered the 16z T-Bone steak medium with roasted potatoes and green beans with almonds and side of grilled shrimp. Steak was great loved it. The side were very mehh and shrimp was plain with little seasoning. Another disturbing thing was while at the bar we were next to the hosted and notice that after us 2 more groups of POC came in and also asked if the had a reservation and when answered no also seated at the bar. But everyone else was not asked nor stated they had a reservation and was given a table. All my reviews are honest I'm not out to come at anyone. That just made feel uncomfortable.
First off, the Arancini and Garlic Parm Fries were great. However, the chicken on our Chicken Parm Sandwich was like a burnt cracker and our Mac & Cheese was dry. It was really hit & miss for us. We were also seated really close to bathroom; not the best seat in the house. Besides that, the staff and our server, Mackenzie, were great and treated us well! Our experience was mostly due to the discrepancies in the kitchen.
My first time visiting here. Reservations are needed we were told. But doesn't show that on Google maps. We were directed to the bar. I ordered two crab cakes for $16 dollars and it had no real crab meat inside. It tasted like it came out of a can and slapped together with no breading or seasoning ( not pictured). I ordered the four cheese ravioli and it was drowning in a creamy red sauce. It had no flavor...no salt...no pepper.. nothing. I had to fish around for the ravioli. My husband's steak was okay but the green beans with almonds were cold and the mashed potatoes. The atmosphere is a bar trying to be a restaurant. I think they should stick with finger foods like burgers and fries and pizza. We paid $109 for our meal plus drinks. Staff attitudes were unpleasant and uninviting. Would I try it again... maybe for a drink and some fries.
We were there today for brunch. The atmosphere is great but the food was not and it took a really long time for our food. Table if 4. We waited over 40 min. Our “breakfast” pizza had no egg on it. The vegetable breakfast pizza dough was not cooked through. Maybe lunch and dinner is better but won't be returning for brunch.
Definitely a bad night for a Google Level 8 Local Guide to bring his whole family in for dinner. I write honest reviews and pull few punches. We’ve been to Roam several times and usually quite satisfied with the experience. Not tonight. We arrived a few minutes prior to our 7pm reservation and the seven of us were seated pretty quickly. Then we sat for 15 minutes before anyone even greeted us. Eventuality we were given tap ice water. Another 15 minutes lapsed before we were able to order drinks and were asked for our appetizer and entree order. Drinks hit the table at the 30 minute mark and the appetizers were another 15 minutes behind them. Dinner arrived at 1:45 into this and it wasn’t great. Served just warm and lacking flavor. The steaks and salmon were way over cooked and never did we get asked if all was okay. The only reason they earned a couple stars was due to the artichoke appetizer and pesto chicken. They were excellent. The martini was perfect and the bar tender was actually pretty friendly. As I wished them luck after paying our tab and walked out. They knew it was bad. You could actually see it in their faces and less than pleasant attitude. It was very disappointing and we won’t be back.

Went for intimate dinner early, 5:30 pm. The atmosphere is a noisy pub. Ok. That was the last (ok). The wine that tasted left open for two weeks also tasted watery. The crab cakes were clam casino stuffing undercooked. The citrus aioli was bland. The prime rib tasteless. The smashed reds tasteless. Even salt would have helped. I refused a desert.
This was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. My husband and I arrived a little before 630pm. Because we didn’t have reservations, we sat outside. It took nearly 10 minutes just to be greeted after we were sat outside. We ordered everything right away, and still didn’t get our food until 7:45pm. When it finally came, my husband was given the completely wrong dish, and my steak was ice cold while the sides were warm. At that point, we had already been sitting outside in the cold for over an hour, miserable and frustrated. The waitress tried to make up for it by offering my husband’s correct meal for free and taking $15 off my plate, but that doesn’t fix the fact that we wasted our night with awful service and inedible food. I’ve been here before, but after this experience I’ll never come back and I’ll never recommend this place to anyone.
I’m never really one to leave bad reviews but this had to have been the worst brunch I’ve ever had. The wait for two plates of simple breakfast food and one single mimosa was over an hour and 15 minutes. Wasn’t even warm when we got it and my vegetarian friend’s had meat on it despite not being listed as such on the menu. We got no explanations, no heads up or anything. Just getting water took over 10 minutes, and our waitress didn’t come by til 20+ minutes in. The waitress was not attentive at all. The tables all around us were empty, and other people seemed to be leaving due to waiting for so long, so it wasn’t packed by any means. To top it off, we were sat under the tent outside and caught in a massive downpour. (Would have probably missed the storm if our food didn’t take over an hour.) Our table and another were huddled and eating standing up as we were told there were no tables inside.
WASTE OF $30 First time ordering from here, got take out and was appalled to see only 4 bones practically for the duck wings which have little to no meat on them. There's more breading than meat, and a huge bowl of chili sauce to dip them in... where am I using this sauce- There's no meat here.. Makes no sense - very disappointed it's not in description there are only 4 wings. Debating on walking these back into the restaurant to get my money back - but don't want to be more disappointed if they say there's nothing we can do about it. Also ordered the pretzels - saving grace bc I'm starving and have 1.5hr road trip even tho they are well-done...baked longer than desirable luckily the cheese sauce is good to cover up the almost burnt flavor. Huge waste of calories but I'm starving. *Review Update* throwing out the 3rd pretzel bc they were so tough and burnt flavor couldn't be masked by the cheese
This dinner was horrendous- 3 mains were inedible. Steak was so tough it had to be spit out. Prime Rib was warmed, seemed like it was heated in the flavorless au jus, was fatty, stringing and chewy. It was not roasted to temp, outside was a grayish hue, inside was red and barely warm for medium rare. Sides were decent if lukewarm. Server was snarky - when asked for bread she said they were an elevated American restaurant not Italian and her attire became snarkier from there. They did take $12 off a $200 bill - seriously- and said we wished we had said something earlier. But this was after they made it clear that we had to vacate the table by 6:30- a 1.5 hour reservation. There are so many great restaurants in the area, avoid this one for dinner!
