Chevys Rocklin Reviews
DJ is AMAZING!!! We were so well taken care of and so impressed by how DJ anticipated EVERYTHING we needed! You will NOT regret having DJ take care of you at Chevy’s Roseville. The hostess and manager, Dawn, are very friendly too and our visit today has been AWESOME (I’m kinda picky). I’ll ALWAYS ask to be placed in DJ’s section! BTW, the food was delicious too!
Drove down from Reno and stopped here for dinner. Food was absolutely amazing! Drinks were amazing as well. Every single staff member was attentive and so friendly. Will definitely be stopping here again anytime I am passing through!
I stopped into Chevy’s last night while having a rough day, and I just wanted to grab a quick to-go order. Collin greeted me with a genuine smile and immediately lifted my spirits. He knew the menu like the back of his hand and even took the time to ask how my day was going. When I told him it hadn’t been a great one, he offered a few words that really stuck with me: “After you enjoy this meal, remember that tomorrow is a new day — a chance to reset. We all have days like this, and that’s okay.” That simple, kind message completely shifted my perspective. I was honestly blown away by how thoughtful he was. Collin showed real compassion and went above and beyond — something you rarely see these days. He mentioned he’s a full-time student, works out, and trains in MMA — clearly a hard-working and disciplined individual. I hope he’s promoted to a server soon. He has the personality and heart to truly connect with guests, and I’d love to sit in his section the next time I visit. Thank you, Collin, for the great food recommendation and for reminding me that better days are always ahead.
Michelle our server was the best waitress I have ever had. She set the bar very high. She went above and beyond. My bf asked for a Medelo and that usually comes in a small glass Michelle gave him a big special cold glass. She made it more fun coming out and more enjoyable for him. We live far so when we pick a place to go and it makes it more pleasurable experience it’s worth it. I don’t usually leave reviews this in depth, but she is awesome!
Cat is a gem. She's been serving us for a couple years now and never disappoints. Very kind and personable.
Alaina was our sever two nights ago. Service was good, drinks came out fast as well as our food and she was super friendly! Will be back!
Michelle was so attentive and sweet! The food was amazing, came out quickly and tasted so good!
Had a great lunch here today. Our server Catherine was friendly, attentive and efficient. The manager Marco came out to check on all the tables near us as well which we appreciated. Good food at a good price point. Great chips and salsa too! We will definitely come back.
Loved Chevy's Roseville! Food was delicious, especially the chips and salsa. Service was friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere for a casual meal with friends or family. Will definitely come back!
We had an amazing experience at Chevy’s in Roseville, and it was all thanks to our incredible server, Michelle! Even with a party of 20 and several other tables to take care of, she never missed a beat. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Our drinks stayed full, our food came out perfectly, and she checked in on us regularly without us ever having to ask. The food was great, but the service? Absolutely outstanding! If you’re heading to Chevy’s, I highly recommend asking for Michelle—you won’t be disappointed!
The restaurant was quite busy when I visited, but our waiter Brooke was excellent and made everything smooth and efficient. The food was also great—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared and the mago margarita was amazing. Overall, a very satisfying experience!
I hadn't been to Chevys in years. I'm here right now leaving a review while we finish up our dining experience. Food was bangin, drinks were on point, and our server Ariana R (253) provided exceptional customer service throughout our entire visit. Guess what? I can't wait to come back to this location very soon. Thanks so much for taking good care of us, Ariana!
Michelle was incredible at this location. Catered to our every need. The food was delicious!!!!! Michelle specifically made our experience a 5 star. She is friendly, quick and efficient!
Brooke was one of the best servers ! A big group of us came in and she accommodated us quickly along with great suggestions and quick service ! Will be coming back to see her
We had Vianey for our server tonight and she was so nice and personable!! Amazing service, fast and great food!! We love coming here!!
Chevy’s is an upscale priced menu that still delivers good VALUE. A family of five can eat a great meal for $100. On this occasion it was a take-out order on Monday at 3:30 pm when most of the tables were empty. So I was surprised when the 10 minute estimate, turned into 25 minutes, then staff started making fresh tortillas in front of me. From that moment on my experience changed for the whole family. Each of the items ordered came with delicious extra richly favored elements that my family enjoyed greatly. The portions were abundant and flavorful. Highly recommended.
We had a great time, great food and drinks. Will definitely return when in the area.
Food and service was good. Atmosphere was great. No complaints, would recommend the seafood enchiladas 😋.
We drive to this location from Nevada often. Today we had Alex as our server and he was the best! We never asked for anything, he always had it right there for us. It was a fantastic lunch experience. Thank you Alex!
We stopped in Chevys today on our way home from errands and had a fantastic brunch. First off- they have brunch on the weekends! Didn’t know that and the huevos rancheros and chilequiles were amazing. Alisa provided excellent service above and beyond. We never were without chips or drinks. I even saw her RUN somewhere so she’s super on top of things:). We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy our time there. We also were able to try the sundae and the whipped cream and brownie part of it was SOOO good! Try this, but it’s big, so you may want to share it.
Chelsea! Can't say enough good things about this woman. Genuinely kind, patient, attentive and provided excellent service. She is a bonus for Chevys. We stopped by for a quick bite on a Friday (June 27) evening during their busy happy hour. The HH area was over flowing so the manager permitted us to sit in the quieter (thank you) dining area and still order from both HH and regular dinner menus. Chelsea had her hands full with lots of tables of large and small parties. In spite of the chaos around her Chelsea maintained a calmness and grace throughout our meal, ensuring we had everything we needed. As did her other customers. I didn't get the managers name that night, he was very busy himself blending margaritas and attending to a dozen details. Before we left I did let him know how much we appreciated our server, Chelsea and his restaurant. The food was good for reasonable price, great fresh chips and salsa, drinks were nicely made and not watered down. We'll be back for sure. Great value, nice place.
Went for dinner yesterday 4/26/25. Food was great! Margaritas were great! Service was phenomenal! Jair took care of us, refilled our salsa when he saw it was low, gave us more chips when we were out, all without having to ask. Will return and if you sit in the bar ask for Jair.
This place was great!!! The food spectacular our waitress Michelle was amazing super friendly and made us feel welcomed which made this whole experience. Definitely will be going back.
We had a great experience here. It's been a while since I've been to this location, and I love the upgrades to the interior. We had the Pleasure of being served by Darrell. He was energetic, friendly and was always checking on us to see if we needed anything. Amazing service from him. We'll definitely be back, and of course the food was delicious!
Compared to other Chevy's locations, this one is quite small and may feel cramped for larger parties. Food was as good as other locations. The server was attentive and kind.
Michelle at the Roseville location is the star of the show. This woman is amazing at her job. Such a beautiful ray of sunshine. Really makes dinning out pleasurable again.
Our server Jennifer took great care of me and my sister! Prickly pear margaritas are the way to go.
It had been a couple of years since we had been to Chevys so we decided to try it out the other night. Our overall experience was quite good. Javon was our server and was very polite and prompt. Drinks were a little sweet as expected but still good and not bad considering the price.
Michelle was super friendly! She always kept us smiling and our drinks and chips and salsas filled! The best!
We had a fantastic dining experience! Our server, Colin, provided exceptional service, attentive and knowledgeable. Manager Jose was also very helpful and ensured everything met our expectations. Highly recommend!
Alehanddro in the restaurant was good. He was wearing my favorite jersey. I was able to relate to him. I wish they can wear those jerseys all the time because they make me so happy! Customer service was top notch, Alejandro aka Alex's customer experience was even better. Thank you for your service Alex only visiting if your working.
Chips and salsa are the best around, the food is great, service is a bit slow, staff is very friendly.
I’ve been going to Chevy’s since the early 1980s, and while some locations have sadly closed over the years, the Roseville spot on Douglas Blvd has remained a true gem. This location is always clean, welcoming, and so well-managed — it honestly feels like one of the best restaurants in Roseville. The food quality has never wavered — everything is consistently fresh and flavorful, which is rare for a restaurant that’s been around this long. What really makes this Chevy’s shine is the team (cooks and waiters). The service is exceptional, and they always make you feel like a valued guest. I want to give a SPECIAL shout-out to Jesus, one of their servers. He’s outstanding — compassionate, professional, and GENUINELY attentive. Every time I’ve had the pleasure of being in his section, I’ve been incredibly well taken care of, as he embodies what great hospitality and service should be. If you’re craving fresh, delicious food and service that truly goes above and beyond, this Chevy’s is absolutely worth your visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough! MB
Stopped in for dinner by myself while car level 2 charging. Hot fresh Chips and Salsa right away followed in quite quick time by my triple, mixed, enchiladas with rice and black beans. Enjoyed throughly especially since minimum of onions used to add flavor without being overwhelming. Sorry forgot to take a picture of my main meal, but plate was stuffed end to end!
We love sitting in Alina’s section in the bar! Always do taco Tuesdays; happy hour!! Delicious tacos!! She’s amazing in all she does!! TIL next week!!!!!
Michelle was our server and she was fantastic! They were just hitting their lunch rush and she was getting busier and busier but still made time to check in with all of us every chance she got. Will be coming back 😁
I love coming here. The food is fresh and flavorful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Service is on point. It is overall a great place to dine in or take out. The manager, Chachi is the nicest. He made us feel so welcome and brought my daughter all she needed to keep her occupied so mom could enjoy a good meal! We will be back for happy hour on mom’s night out!
I came in to chevys wirh my family and we had the pleasure of being served by Jenn. She was so kind and gave amazing service and suggestions. I was in the industry for 10 years and now run my own business and it’s hard to find people who love what they do. The food was good but we will definitely be back to visit Jenn. If you make a trip to chevys, definitely request her!
Had an amazing lunch with my partner and mother here! Michelle was our server and was attentive from the first moment she came over! Very friendly and great banter as she took care of our table, and seemed to be giving just as much energy to all of her tables in the area! Absolutely amazing service, come to this Chevy's fairly often and plan on coming back again when Michelle is working!
Manny had a great welcoming smile when we walked in. We were seated quickly and chips arrived like lightening. Wendi was absolutely delightful with a ready smile. This location truly steps up and considering the reasonable price for the food, I was impressed with the service.
Michelle was ABSOLUTELY amazing when we came in friday afternoon! Her overall energy and personality was the best, top notch service and made sure we got everything we needed! Food was very delicious! Will be coming back to see her again soon!
Mixed grill fajitas are fiiiiiiirrrreeeee. Jennifer was the most attentive and best server I've had in ages. Also my favorite tomalito in town
Enjoyed a michelada and some chips and salsa with my husband. The bartender Jen provided great conversation and great service, coming back during happy hour to try their new apps
Amazing Experience! The food quality was so good — fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked. Special thanks to our waiter Ian, who provided excellent service. He was polite, friendly, and very professional. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!
I love Chevy's. The food always hits the spot. I hope they stay open, it seems like so many other locations have closed. The chips and salsa always hit the spot.
Food was amazing. But the best part of my experience here was my server Michelle always on top of it. My drink was never empty and she always checked in on us to find out if we needed anything thanks Michelle for a great experience.
A nostalgic place I've loved coming to since I was a kid, if not the absolute pinnacle of decoration. Wendy (our server) was very nice and quick to get anything we needed, and it seems as if Manny (the manager) was running a smooth shift with effective communication and a positive environment. Overall 10/10, would recommend in a heartbeat. Oh, and don't get me started on the salsa....
Great food and a great atmosphere. Our server Wendy was excellent and attentive. The employees seem to have a good relationship with each other and management (Manny). I would highly recommend this establishment if you’re in the area.
I have to give it to these guys, you can tell this is a fantastically run restaurant. We go to this location once every six weeks after Kaiser visits and it is consistent in every way. Great food, fantastic service, quick to be seated and get food. Manager with the grey/white hair and glasses is always greeting customers/opening door, talking to employees...you can tell he takes his job seriously and it is really refreshing to see that. Wait staff and hostess equally engaging and nice. Also the food is always fresh and super tasty. If you haven't tried the charra beans don't sleep on them....surprisingly authentic for a Mexican chain restaurant. Probably my best chain restaurant experience.....ever. Keep up the good work guys!
We have eaten there Several Times this past Few weeks~The food has always been Consistently "GOOD & TASTY"! Clean Surroundings! The Servers & Staff always have a Nice Smile and are Attentive with Clients! Our "Hats off tonight 10/26/25 to: "INGRID j." ~ "For HER outstanding Service Assistance!" ~~"Many Business's need employ "Young Folks" like Her! A True Asset Employee for "Chevys'!! Many Thanks for~"A Pleasant Experience!"
OMG, amazing experience!! Our server Colin was SO sweet and attentive, he took care of us the whole time! And Manager Jose was super friendly and made sure everything was perfect. Can't wait to come back.
Came here for dinner totally forgetting about the happy hour they have every day. The tacos were really good and filling and the Mexican pizza my husband got was huge, like the size of a medium pizza and very tasty. $4 wine and well drinks can't be beat. As we were waiting for our bill which was only $29 for 2 drinks and 2 plates the manager Jose came over to our table and asked if I'd like to try their new sangria that will launch on the July 15th. It was delicious! And he was so nice! He told us about the new upcoming drinks and menu items and even showed us pictures of the new dishes. The lemon rosemary chicken fajitas looked amazing and the ribs will definitely something I'll come back to try! Thank you Jose for the drink and the info on the new menu items!
My family and I stopped by to have some dinner and drinks our waitress Sophia was very helpful and always checking in on us and was always refilling our drinks. And the food came out fast and was so delicious and very hot. What my family and I enjoyed the most is that the Manger Sonia kept talking to us and was also very helpful and really made us feel comfortable. And the guacamole that Sonia made for us was so delicious! We gone to other restaurants and none of them has treateds us like Sonia did. My Family and i will be definitely going back to enjoy the great home friendly service. Thank You Sonia!!!!!!!
Came in for dinner the other day and was really impressed with my overall experience. It’s been awhile since I’ve eaten here. Everything came out delicious. The service we had was over the top. We were taken very good care of by our server Joseph. Sonia the manager stopped by with table side guac we ordered. Food was fresh, hot and packed with flavor. Drinks were strong and enjoyable.

Chevys has the best taco Tuesday bar in their cantina during happy hour! Jeffrey gave our table the best service despite how insanely busy it was. Definitely will be back for more!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner a few nights ago. We had never been to this location before but we were shopping in the area and decided to stop in. How food was OK, it came out the room temperature. I could tell by just looking at it, I asked the man who dropped it off if the food had been sitting on a tree for a while but he didn’t respond. Our waitress, was very attentive and sweet. She came over shortly after noticing our food was dropped off and asked how everything was that if she could get us anything. There was a screaming baby at a table near us, it was one of our waitresses tables as well. We asked our waitress if we could get to go boxes and she asked if everything was OK. I said that the food tasted good but it was a little cold, she offered to replace our meals and discount our check but we felt that wasn’t really necessary because we honestly wanted to leave due to the screaming baby. The food did taste good it was just not warm. Our waitress stopped by the table with a screaming baby and was taking their orders when she asked one of the members of the table to repeat themselves, the customer said to her “Do you have a hearing problem or something” My wife andI have a son with a cochlear implant and we noticed that our waitress was wearing one. So as a matter of fact YES she does have a hearing disability and when we heard that comment it took everything in my wife not to stand up and defend the young lady. We later found out our servers name was Annabell. She handled that situation very well. In my opinion she should have politely stood up for herself, and as a matter of fact yes I do.(bc that’s what we’ve taught our Son) But she didn’t, she apologized and explained that it’s just really loud in here. I guess the point of this review it’s not only that the food could be warmer, but to just be kind to people. Just because you can’t see the disability doesn’t mean that it is not there And if you have a screaming cold take that outside, to the car, or to the bathroom.
Good place for a group. This time we had two long tables next to each other, I'd say it's better than one LONG table that way. It made conversation much easier. I was hungry, so this time I opted for the Super Cinco, a combo of five different meals in one: beef enchilada, chicken enchilada, beef taco, pork tamale, and chile relleno with a side of beans and rice. It took three plates to hold it all! I started with the tamale, and the corn meal crust was thick and juicy, just the way it should be. The rest of it was good, too. It took a while, but I managed to finish it all. :-)
Update...its been 2 years... I broght my niece here for her birthday...we made a reservation through yelp. When we arrived we were seated right away. It took a while for someone to come to our table to take the drink order. We were ready to put in our order instead of waiting. While we were sitting there...we heard two of the staff openly say how much they hate there job...clearly...the service paired with the GROSS DIRTY DISHES prove there is no pride AT THIS PLACE...HORRIBLE...HORRIBLE. I have been several times before...but it has been at least 2 years. I would not have come if she did not choose this place. We ordered the mixed grilled fajitas to share...for the outrageous price of almost 27.00. Boy have the prices sky rocketed. 1. The chicken was so dry...neither of us wanted to eat it. 2. The steak was not good at all. 3. The shrimp and carnitas was very good. 4. It used to come with guacamole...they charge more and eliminated that. 5. It used to come with butter sauce for shrimp...did not get that...had to ask for it. When we needed more tortillas...we saw our waitress for her to come...and she literally walked the other way. This place has gone down hill... No wonder their rating is only 3 star. See my photos of dirty plate...no guac...no butter sauce for shrimp. Never again. I came here with my mom. The prices certainly have changed. We usually get the fajitas with all 4 meats to share. It came with beans... rice...meat...sour cream...guacamole...onions and peppers. The price a couple months ago was 18.99. Now they are 24.99...same portion..but no more guacamole. The menu advertises they are served flame ignited at the table...ours wasn't. The flavor was good...but very disappointed at price increase...minus guacamole..not flame ignited as advertised. I like their food...but if I did not have a birthday coupon..I would not spend 25.00 for this. I just font think it is worth it. 18.00...I got that several times...but 25.00...I would spend that same money elsewhere. It's a shame there was such a huge price increase for less food...😭😭😭
Updated Review: During a recent visit, we had the steak and eggs brunch meal. The steak was grilled exactly as ordered and dressed with a bit of delicious ranchero sauce. Our server, Ashley, was attentive and friendly. Consistency in quality and service could be improved, but we keep coming back because the overall value is good. The quality of food and staff is inconsistent. Management needs to work on quality control and sufficient staffing. During some past visits, servers were great. Other times, they were not so attentive. Sometimes, the steak is a bit tough, and other times, it's perfect. Restrooms are modern and clean. The current manager seems conscious and intent on improving the restaurant.
Went for Taco Tuesday at the cantina. Took longer than expected to have someone assist with plating our taco selections. Once we got our tacos, they tasted good.
It was a bit crowded when we went for lunch. The service was slow and it was a little chaotic with seating, once we got to our table things were a little better. Someone (I think the manager) noticed it was taking a long time for my table to get served so she came over and said sorry and she was sending someone over, I appreciate her very much because after that everything was great. The chips/salsa were great and we all enjoyed our meals

OK 4% service charge. It'll be different for food was cheap is not each plate is $20 plus basically. Went for lunch as I only have an hour. Zero sense of urgency at all. We were in our work uniform…
Super relaxed and great atmosphere with reasonably priced and tasty food. We got the sizzling fajitas which were definitely sizzling. Jose was great!

Service was only OK, and there were hardly any other people there. Food was lukewarm and just okay. Not the best Chevy's and not as good as they used to be. The rice was orange. The fish was smelly. The beans were not hot at all. The Chile Rellano was good and the corn tomatillo or whatever it's called is getting very small. The Margarita was full of ice chunks and not mixed well, kept drinking tequila.
Did not get what I thought I had ordered, both in the beans and at least one of the enchiladas. But what was correct was good, and enjoyed voting with friends while eating.
Very loud restaurant. Could not talk at all. Service was busy with a big party. Left us waiting 45 mins for food. Bring back the old tortilla soup. The new tortilla soup sucks
The food was meh , very expensive for the quality. Kinda gross, I had the appetizer platter. Seemed like microwave food. And I had to beg for water refills. Was $85 for me and my daughter. 2 entrees and 1 cocktail for her. It was SO LOUD we couldn't hear each other across the table.
My husband brought me here as he knows I love Mexican food, however here's where mine was lacking. Nothing on the menu is in Spanish I didn't notice though until after we had placed our order. I ordered the Chevy Tacos & paid the extra $3 for steak.... my husband got the beef birria tacos the chips & salsa were really good, chips were fried to perfection & their salsa was pretty good. My tacos needed seasoning for them.costing extra I sure was disappointed. The rice & beans were ok at best. Birria tacos are usually crispy my husbands were definitely not. The tortillas were a bit under done as well. The service... Coco was our server & while nice & polite she didn't do a great job checking in on us. We waited about 20min for margarita flight because she forgot to put the order in...... so dining here took over an hour. I don't live in California but visit often. I don't think I need to come back here......

Wasn’t feeling very good and I read their tortilla soup is decent. It was $10.55 for a pint, which I thought was expensive, but I figured whatever I wanted some. When I got home, it was filled about an inch and a half from the top of the cup and was nowhere near a pint even after adding the avocado and corn strips.. It did not even come close. Anybody that orders take out from there check your food before you leave.
I’m just saying…MAYBE being a national chain, y’all can get with the times and realize that food delivery is here to stay & so some quality control should be in place. I’m not saying my DoorDash driver dug into my queso and chips…but because you guys didn’t secure the bag, I’m also not NOT thinking she did…which is gross. Who gets the bad review? Her for maybe just being the bearer of a chips & queso sadly lacking? That seems kinda like bullying. Be the bigger man!! Those little (big!!) gestures- like stapling the bag shut or tape seals- make a big impact on future orders.
Chevy’s oh Chevy’s… I’ve been going to this location for the last 10 years and have been going to Chevy’s since I was a kid but this location has isn’t as good as it used to be. Even with the whole rebranding a couple of years ago, main issues is good portion size, staffing, and customer service. Came here with the family on a Saturday morning at 1040 to avoid the rush of lunch time at 1200. However, staffing was a problem. They only had 1 waitress and a manager that was running around to take care of 5 tables. This only got worse as time went by as no other staffing showed up as more and more people were seated. I noticed that people ended up waiting a long time just to get water and chips. A family of 3 behind us waited over 30 minutes just to get water and chips/salsa and get their order taken. By the time we left, which was an hour a half later, there food still hadn’t come out. Our waitress disappeared for a significant amount of time and forgot to get us tortillas for my fajitas so we waited and waited as our chicken and steak got cold. We also asked the manager who also forgot to bring out the tortillas. When we finally saw our waitress again, we asked her again and she eventually brought them to us. The portion size of the fajitas has gone down considerably. 4 tiny pieces of chicken and steak is not worth paying $29.00… Chevys was smart when they had the deal for chicken fajitas for $12.00 but that has since gone away. Chevy’s needs to fix their staffing in order for this place to be successful. I will not be returning for awhile but I’m also not holding out hope that this place will still be open if they continue to have low staffing, poor customer service, and small portion sizes.
Unfortunately, this is not like Chevy‘s back in the old days. In the past I’ve always loved Chevy’s In other locations. A few nights ago we waited for over an hour to get our dinner asking the manager and other Chevy’s employees about our order and then no one got back to us. When we got our food it was cold and dried out like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. I spoke with the manager, he apologized and gave us a discount which we appreciated, but at the same time we really just wanted to return it, but didn’t because it was so late. I’m not sure if we will go back to this location again, but I do feel that the manager took the feedback to heart.
$3.99 service charge in addition to higher prices and 20% tip. No thanks. We'll eat elsewhere.
Had to come here tonight because it was My Son's birthday and this was his request. He's leaving for 2 1/2 months and we wanted to make his wish come true. It is his 21st birthday. Server Chelsea…
Horrible Service!!! My husband and I went here May11th to celebrate my birthday, we were excited because the last time we went which is Cinco de Mayo were beyond great, food was fresh and the meat…
Ordered two pints of salsa for our Super Bowl party was pretty excited for it since we love their salsa this was by far the worst salsa we've ever had it was tasteless and black nobody touched it the whole night
OMG, we sat there for 30 minutes before acknowledged by the server, then he disappeared. One employee started shuffling loud chairs and tables near us, no one took a drink order, no chips for the table, nothing. The place wasn't very busy either. We got up and left and no one noticed, all the employees were huddled near the kitchen. Total waste and total disaster
Drinks took 30 min to hit the table and there were just 3 of us. Food took another 40 min to arrive at our table. The margarita was so strong I couldn’t drink it and my wife only sipped her 4x. When we got our food the refried beans tasted like dirty dishwater, they were about to sour. My wife’s enchilada (cheese) was so spicy she couldn’t finish her plate,, and after sending it back after only one bite they still tried to charge us for her meal. My Son loved the Mexican pizza and the Shirley Temple but how do you mess those up? Can’t believe this place is still in business!!!!!
On Aug. 17th 2024 I arrived at about 2:30 p.m. I am a usual customer and everyone knows my wife and I. Normal routine is to go to the bar side and find a seat (usually seat yourself on the bar side). Although we rarely drink, the servers on the bar side have typically been there longer and are more experienced. The bar area had three occupied tables and every other table was dirty waiting to be bussed (see pics of the disgust). The restaurant side also had about three occupied tables and again many tables were dirty. After waiting over five minutes I asked Isabella (the greeter) if we could get a table cleaned on the bar side. She was not very pleasant and stated there was a wait to be seated. She said it would be 10-15 minutes for a table. I said no problem and added my name to the guest list at 2:37 p.m. As I waited, I observed several guests leave due to the long wait. One of the guest asked the assistant manager to remove her name due to the long wait. Instead of the assistant apologizing, she acted as if it was no big deal. Isabella was wandering around with a wash cloth in her hand but not cleaning the tables as the normal greeters do to assist with keeping the tables ready for the next guests. Just before 3:00 p.m., I observed two additional servers coming on duty (Meghan and Coraima). Both were greeted with a restaurant that looked like a hurricane blew through. Both immediately got into action assisting the busser and the bartender Jesus getting things whipped into shape. Isabella was still wandering around appearing to look busy while everyone else including the managers were taking orders, bussing tables, and delivering food. It was obvious that scheduling was an issue and I later confirmed they were short staffed and it appears hours have recently been cut. At about 3:10 I was finally seated. Meghan was my server and was excellent as usual. Coraima also assisted with excellent service. The food was good as usual. I write this review because they (Meghan, Coraima, and Jesus) need to be recognized for outstanding service and getting business taken care of when they walked in to a disaster. One would think a business like Chevys that has gone through a substantial turnover and closed many of their restaurants would be more compassionate to their guests and go above and beyond to make their guests happy and keep them returning to keep the doors open. Keeping a happy staff and providing adequate hours is passed to the customers via a happy employee.
Hard pass! The host was lame and I'll skip that drama to review the food. It was disgusting and greasy as hell. I used to work as a hydraulic mechanic and it looked like there was a leak in the supply reservoir. It's a shame because I saw a Latina manager whom I'm surprised let food like that out of the kitchen. I blame myself for setting myself up for disappointment with unrealistic expectations for Mexican food at a place like Chevy's. Gavin was our server, despite being new, was great. 5 stars for him. 0 for the "food".
Walked in to order Asad fries with no quac, sub chicken. The person taking my order dud just that...asked what I wanted, took my payment...left the hostess podium and returned five minutes later with my food....I knew it was not gonna be good....it should take longer than five minutes to make fresh fries and then dress them... I wasnt given any napkins or utensils...after getting back to my hotel and trying the food it was definitely the worst thing I've ever eaten at a Chevys restaurant. I could've gotten better service and food at any fast food drive thru. Won't come back while Im in town.
Haven't been to Chevy in 20 years. Boy has its lost its quality! $78 for a bunch of crap food seriously!! All onions barely any chicken and shrimp on the skillet! I also now have stomach acid which I haven't had in roughly 3 years!! Should have just went to jack in the box across the way definitely would been better!!!
Unfortunately, the food and service were unpleasant. My food was burnt and tasteless. It's obvious they have new cooks or they don't care about doing their job properly. However, the waitress Vianey and the busboy Francisco tried to improve the situation. The waitress was smiling while taking the order, and the busboy Francisco was always doing a good and hard job. Managers need to pay attention to the kitchen and properly train the cooks, as they are solely responsible for the quality of the food.
First of all we got there and were placed on a waitlist to support gymnastics. The hostess Alyssa was incredibly rude aren’t hostesses suppose to be the friendliest and most approachable representing the business? Alyssa was far from it we waited outside for an hour and when we went in to check seeing multiple other groups get seated immediately. She claimed she texted us we showed her the one and only text we received and then she looked more annoyed than ever and said something under her breath as she went to grab the menus. This was my first time and I will not be coming back due to her horrible lack of hospitality. She is hurting your business. Moldy fruit was also served.
