Tonight we were craving something different and when we say the Birria ramen on the menu, we knew we found our dinner spot. We ordered quesabirria tacos with rice which was very tasty and the meat portion was generous, chips with salsa and queso which the chips alone were so good. They were crispy and tasty, I love the tortilla flavor. The queso was thick and the salsas were all delicious and spicy. The Birria ramen was good but it could’ve used a bit more ingredients. The Mexican coke was a nice additional treat to wash down our food. I can’t believe that we’ve never heard of this place, it’s definitely going to be added to our rotation of spots. Good food is not easy to come by on this side of town!

Wow. Incredible place for such a small environment. Starting with only the weakest things first, the drinks are very good. The sauces they bring to the table are powerful and add a lot of flavor but truly unnecessary unless you like spice. The cheesy beef birria burritos and tacos are phenomenal. I almost didn't take a picture because it smelled so delicious. The meat is tender, seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The rice is unbelievable. As a big fan of cheese I can't get over how well the tortillas tasted without dominating a primarily meat-based burrito with cheese flavor. A Mexican bottled coke and gigantic burrito is an easy way to win my heart, but every employee was also sweet, attentive, and so polite. The atmosphere was friendly and fun, lots of couples and families there and their tiny bar was always making new drinks. Would absolutely recommend.

The best birria tacos in North Texas by a mile, id show you a picture but I eat all 3 before remembering to take a photo. The frozen swirl margherita is delicious and the churros are perfect. Can't go wrong eating here (edit I came back and they were perfect once again, my wife got the pastor plate also great. Pics added!)

This establishment is very clean, and everything was stocked, Los Marquez Tacos is a casual counter serve spot. I ordered their daily special, 2 tacos, rice and beans with a fountain soda. I got chicken, it came with sautéed red and green peppers, onion, plenty of chicken, what felt like homemade corn tortillas and cilantro. No cheese here, which felt more authentic. They have a great looking porch that caught my eye everytime I drove by. Plenty of free parking. Looks like they serve breakfast and Fri-Sun brunch. Some large desserts are in a case at the front, it looked like cake and flan among others. Fountain drink was mixed just right. Follow me for more reviews across 11 states and counting!

Ordered via Door dash… I will say I was expecting to have to re heat my food This food was PIPING HOT!! I had to separate the tacos to let them cool off so I could pick them up 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 The ingredients were FRESH and GREAT quality!! They did NOT SKIMP on any of the ingredients! I even got a lime for each of my tacos 🌮 🍋‍🟩 FINALLY an AUTHENTIC Mexican place!!!! 🧑🏽‍🍳 🤌🏼 If you have not been you are missing out!!!!! This was my first time but definitely not my last!

Per 6/19 spontaneous DoorDash order: Absolutely blown away with the quality of this place. Vastly exceeded expectations to the point I wanted to pick up the phone and call to speak to the manager/owner to sing my praises. Let’s start with the Beef Birria Ramen that my wife ordered, just wow! Bursting with flavor and incredibly delicious. My carne asada tacos were not only the best ordered to date anywhere in Texas but the closest to how we prepare at home: freshly made corn tortillas, tender and perfectly cooked meat, grilled onions, and even the add-on avocado was a proper quality portion. You could taste the difference in the homemade salsa cups provided as well. The torta was equally amazing which I’d note, even the bread was fresh, legit, and the right amount. Haven’t even tried the desserts pictured just yet but again in shock in the best way possible - this is easily and instantly now our new go-to favorite. Compliments to the owner, chef, and team, you all absolutely knocked it out of the park and have new regular customers/supporters!

Hidden gem out 205 near the Tom Thumb. This is my first time in this little delicious restaurant. They have a beautiful patio, which we chose to dine at. You will place your order at the cashier. Mixed adult beverages like margaritas are available. I ordered 2 grilled shrimp tacos without rice and beans. They give you a number and will bring out your order to the table. The margaritas were delicious along with the two shrimp tacos. Very fresh and seasoned perfectly. Very nice place to dine at which has a wide variety of delicious options.

SO good. Spicy shrimp tacos, ranchero beans, rice and the Neapolitan cake were delicious! It was our first time in, but we will for sure be coming back.

I loved this food truck previously! Now that it's a restaurant I love it even more. I've always ordered Birria tacos! Those never disappoint. I'm pleased to see this growth for Los Marquez, and can't be happier that this happened for them in the old "Fat Chicken" location. My husband ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was wonderful! Full of flavor! We'll be back! Service was a little slow, but they were very busy when we visited. We wish Los Marquez continued success!

Hello, I live a couple of blocks away from this taco shop and I really like the food. The food is great, and I understand that sometimes things can happen. This is not the first time something non-edible has been in my food, but when it does happen, I like to report it just in case someone else has the same experience. I'm sure this rubber band came from the grocery store or market they use to get their cilantro or vegetables. This is the only explanation I can come up with. I doubt this will happen again, but please, folks, make sure you check your food before you eat it!!!

I have been wanting to try this place ever since they opened so I was excited to finally get to. I ordered the spicy shrimp taco plate which was supposed to come with rice and beans but they took my order wrong and only gave me the two tacos. Sadly, the tacos were not spicy at all. As a matter a fact, they were shockingly bland even with all the other ingredients. My wife ordered the fajita chicken tacos which were pretty good. Overall, I was disappointed and probably won't go back. There are just too many other places to eat that are better.

I tried out 3 different tacos and the queso. The queso was great, but everything else (including the chips) was awful. And the food was RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. I ended up just throwing away half of the meal. I've just been spoiled by El Fenix, Torchys, and Velvet Taco. The staff was very friendly and atmosphere was great though. Felt nice to just drop in.

I just moved to Lavon from Garland . I live 10 minutes away from the restaurant . Food was cold when I got home . I got chicken and carne asada tacos . Meat was dry . Rice is bland . I spent 20 dollars and it was not worth it .

Every time we go here it gets worse and worse. When we came here for the first time a couple of years ago the food and quality was great. Now they have starting penny pinching with every little thing. They started by taking out little things like not giving out pico with the fajitas anymore (which is really weird because it was just a tiny bit, how much could they possibly be saving by doing that?), then portion sizes started getting smaller, now they charge for asking for a little bit of extra sauce (they used to have bottles of sauces out when we first tried this place, now they only give a tiny bit in a small sauce container and your done). Seems absolutely ridiculous for the amount they charge for their food. They really aren’t cheap. Not worth the amount of money for the quality and quantity of food. Lower your prices if you are going to be doing this or bring your standards back up where it used to be. Sad because we used to love going here. But now, not so much.

I visited this place because of the reviews. Isn't it authentic Mexican food? The reviews... they clearly don't know what authentic Mexican food is. If you're looking for Mexican food and flavor, this isn't the place you're looking for. There's no flavor. The portions are small. The price is high.
