Best chicken I had tasted in a while! This is now my go-to for lunch or diner with family !

Loved our experience here at Pollo Rejio! Dined in on a Saturday night with extended family and we loved the atmosphere! The service was quick and simple and the food was amazing. Staff is very friendly and prep your food quickly. We ordered 2 tacos, a burrito, chicken flautas, and a torta to go. No missing items, we got everything we ordered. They're very generous w the meat in all 3- tacos burrito and torta. Good flavor on the meats, my favorite is definitely the pastor and the asada. They have the option to order a pound of their meats as well, good for when you're feeding a large group of people, it comes with the fixings too. The horchata is very refreshing, highly recommend it. Pineapple tastes very syrupy imo. Green salsa is amazing too.

I've been to this location at least once a week, the 5 Taco special is my favorite. You can choose from 4 meats: Frijol, Pastor, Grilled Chicken, Barbacoa, Bistec, Carne Asada; choose one for each taco. Free chips and the salsa bar is fantastic. My favorite is the pickled Onion and Habanero. This is the most authentic fast-food Mexican restaurant in Texas.

Torrie took my order today, I almost ordered the wrong thing but she caught it 😂 thanks love! The food is always great and fresh! The loaded nachos with a side of fries is what I got today came out to $23 and definitely worth every cent!!!

So happy Pello Regio came to Rockwall! Amazing GRILLED juicy chicken! I highly recommend the half chicken special, so MUCH food to try for under $15. You geta drink, half a chicken, rice, charro style beans, grilled onion, hot corn tortillas, and if you dine in, all the fresh chips and salsa you want! Owners are amazing and staff are friendly and helpful. Also try the horchata drink its delicious.

Stopped for lunch today, always huge portions and delicious Mexican food. The free chips are lightly seasoned and so good. They have a long bar of different salsas and toppings, and everything is fresh. It was very busy when we were there so was a little wait for our food but the chips and salsa are self serve so we were fine. I had the baked potato with beef, my husband had the nachos with beef, I don't think I made it through 1/2 of the huge potato.

I came in and I was greeted before I ordered. The lady at the counter was nice and gave me chips and sala to eat while I waited for the food to take out. I took a couple bites and the food was made ready fast and good! The best or one of the best Pollo Regio I’ve been too for sure! 👍🏽

I have been now twice in a week I have a problem! But they are so dang good And such high quality, the tacos are filled to the brim with meat and I love how they put the toppings on the side, so you can decide how much you want to add. It is the best tacos I’ve had in a really long time I love that it has a drive-through option and a dine in. I can’t wait to try all the different things on the menu. So far I had the Barbacoa, Al pastor and Carne asada tacos. And I love salsa Verde, But I’ve never had one that was creamy but I love it, definitely makes the tacos even more amazing! I will definitely be back, and Torrie in the drive-through is so kind and quick friendly service. Definitely a must try in Rockwall, I’m so glad y’all are here!

I’ve been to this location three times. The first two were later in the evening and I ate street tacos. Very good imo. However, I heard that the roasted chicken was good so on the third time that’s what I ordered…IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The best roasted chicken I’ve ever eaten. Juicy, messy, tender, flavorful. Served with rice, beans and tortillas along with a grilled onion. My new favorite place in Rockwall. Service was good but will get better. My photos don’t to it justice.

Excellent place to eat Mexican food! Tacos are so good. I would also highly recommend the "regio platter" for those who are super hungry. The service is also pretty fast, and they speak fluent english and spanish. The sauce bar is clean and chips are crispy. The agua de horchata is sooo good. And the place is always clean. I recommend it and do visit it almost weekly hahaha. Shout out to Leyanira for the attentive service. Give her a raise!

Absolutely Delicious! I recently visited Pollo Regio, and it was hands down one of the best chicken meals I’ve ever had. The chicken was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and really care about quality. The seasoning was spot on, with just the right balance of spice and flavor. I tried the half chicken meal, and it was incredible. The sides were just as good especially the charro beans The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick even during the busy hours. The restaurant had a cozy, casual vibe that made it perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. If you love chicken, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

What an amazing find! This some of the best Mexican food I've had and I've traveled through almost everywhere in Mexico. Always love a salsa bar with lots of flavorful and spicy salsas, onions, limes, jalapenos, and more. Everything was packed with intense flavors. Service was super quick and friendly. We tried this place for lunch and were greeted right away. Maritza took our order, we both ordered a Burrito plate with rice and beans. I ordered the Barbacoa and my partner ordered the Pastor. Both were very delicious. They give a number to put on your table. We sat down and a few moments later someone brought our food. The food was very delicious, the rice is amazing, full of flavor. The refried beans were very tasty. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We cannot wait to return. We found the restaurant clean as were the restrooms. They have a Salsa bar with different flavor and heat of Salsas. This is a great place for a lot of food. We left so full. We will be regulars at this place from now on.

Tortillas are not homemade like Rosa's. 1/2 chicken lunch special was $15.14 including tax. A bit high for lunch. I think it's over priced for what it is. Atmosphere is very bland, 1970's orange and yellow formica laminate everywhere. I was disappointed. Won't be going back.

I placed a family order and my total amount was over $60 dollars and all the green salsas were half way full this is the first time this happened and I think it’s ridiculous plus the salsa containers are smaller than before plus the salsa was salty, and the chicken was very dry and burn really bad experience and this is one of my favorite foods places.

I absolutely adore this chicken. But this location seems like they do things differently. The chicken was in a box instead of the parchment paper that it normally would be in which resulted in extremely dry chicken, no juice no taste just very nasty. Also the sauce normally comes in a large container. It seems like they’re trying to preserve theirs because it’s a super small side of green sauce.

Not sure what happened to place but what used to be a decent place was filthy and the food absolutely horrible! The chip warmer was not on so the chips were cold and stale. My flautas were the absolute worst! The chicken inside was burnt to a crisp and literally turned into a powder. Will not be back. Not sure how it stays in business!

On top of that, the order was wrong, which I only realized after driving away. No compensation, explanation, or warning. Only an insincere “Sorry”. Went in side and waited a good 5 min for anyone to even say anything to me. There was a lady standing right there just cleaning. This lady did not say one word to me. When the guy finally came out of the office he did not say anything to me I just had to start talking for him to take my order. Chicken was dry and over cooked today. I ordered whole chicken. They told me it was going to be a 30 minute wait. I said okay. Before you know it. I waited an hour just to be told it was going to be another 30 minutes. If I wanted a whole chicken or I could order something else. A waste of time, and they didn’t even care. They could’ve at least told me instead of that making me wait for so long. Beyond pissed.

SAFETY- HAZARD- I ordered the Party Taco Asada catering package for my 40th birthday, and I was extremely alarmed when my cousin bit into something hard and discovered a rusted screw in the carne asada. We had several young children eating with us, and as a registered nurse, all I could think about were the safety risks—including choking hazards and potential infection from the rust. We immediately stopped eating the carne asada and contacted the Rockwall location. I provided photos of the screw on the plate. The only response I received was that they “investigated and found nothing on their end.” I have absolutely no reason to lie about this. A child could have been seriously injured, or worse, had they ingested it. Please be cautious if you choose to eat here. Based on this experience, I do not feel that this location is currently safe.
