Michael's Sourdough Rohnert Park Reviews
Stopped in on our drive up the 101 to Spokane, WA and oh man did this hit the spot! I had the dimaggio and my wife the chicken club add avocado and both were excellent 👌!! The bread soft and so full of flavor, high quality cold cuts and just enough sauce to not make a total mess! The young man at the front counter was so full of energy and happy to make us smile! He brought the good vibes!! Lots of super bomb drinks to top em off!! I would love one of these in spokane where I pay about 5 dollars more for a sandwich of half the quality and thick tough bread! Bravo guys!! We will see you next time we travel!! You got a good thing going, keep it up 💯!!
This was my first time here. And It reminded of another wonderful sandwich shop. The sandwich had plenty of delicious meat and the sourdough bread was great. I can't wait to return.
The bread here is amazing. The staff is so nice and accurate with your orders. I love the clam chowder, especially if you dip their bread in it. Usually busy, but don't let that deter you from going they are very fast.
Gigantic affordable Sammie's and lots more. This place is committed to feeding people, an art long lost at places like subway. The food is delicious, the menu has all the lunch classics and more along with a decent drink selection. At the time of writing this I paid $13 for a pesto sandwich so big it's going to be lunch tomorrow, and I sincerely appreciate the value. 5/5
Super Good! If you ever swing by during lunch you and the rest of Sonoma County knows why. This place gets packed! It's a west coast deli vibe thing. Your not going to get the italian style or old east coast style deli feel or menu but it's still amazing and right up my alley. If your in the petaluma or Rohnert park area, hit it up and you won't be disappointed!
we got the warm toasted sandwiches. delicious, friendly bilingual service, clean place. wasnt busy at 9a
The bread was amazing!! Turkey sandwich with bacon and it did not disappoint! If I lived in the area, this would be my regular sandwich shop 💯

Really good spot! Everything tasted fresh and well made! It's a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.
Best sandwich I have had in a very very long time..! I asked for extra pickles for my pregnancy Cravings and they definitely didn't disappoint me. They also separately bagged a nice slice of pickle for me too..! Super friendly staff and amazing portions. Bread was deliciously warm and delicious..! Loved everything about my first experience here.
This place does it right. Fresh baked bread and they make their own roast beef. Order from the menu and you will always be happy. Not to say that making your own sandwich wouldn't be delicious, but they have the sandwich making art down, there is the reason they put those items together on a sandwich, it's perfect. Price is fair and sandwiches portions are above average. I've eaten here a lot and never been disappointed with my food. Service is fast and friendly. Makes for great to go food. Especially to take on a nice hike. Love it.
Just like the other reviews, their sandwiches are so delicious! I got the #28 hot pesto and chicken. The flavors were incredible! The sandwich is so huge, I took the other half home! Highly recommend and I'll be back on my next visit to Rohnert Park!
This is by far one of the best sandwich shops in Sonoma County. I was hesitant to review because I don't want more people to find out about it and make it even busier. But in all seriousness, they have a ton of different sandwiches and things to eat, and the bread is so fresh and warm like they literally just made it.
I love sonoma sourdough and have been coming consistently for over a year now. Specifically one employee there, Rosario, is so wonderful to talk with! The sandwiches are so big, absolutely delicious and the service is so fast. My only complaint would actually be about a customer. There was a customer who got upset about something to do with a sandwich he thought should be free and he started swearing at Rosario. That poor woman is so kind to everyone, it's unacceptable that she be treated that way and I hope that customer is banned from the store for his conduct.
Two words, SO GOOD!! We are from Florida and stopped in for a turkey sandwich. Wow!, sooo good and filling. Definitely needed to share sandwich since they are huge. So wish we had sandwiches back home like this

While traveling for work, I always make it a point to seek out local sandwich spots—there’s just something about a great sandwich that hits the spot. Today, work brought me to the Sonoma area, and I stumbled upon a hidden gem: Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches. At first glance, it’s easy to overlook—the shop is tucked away in an industrial part of town and doesn’t scream “gourmet eats.” But let me tell you, this place proves that you don’t need a fancy storefront to serve up seriously impressive food. I stopped by right at noon, peak lunch hour, and was pleasantly surprised—no line, quick service, and my order was ready in just a few minutes. I went with the #17, turkey with thick-cut bacon, and it was massive. But the real star? The bread. The freshly baked sourdough was next-level—perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. It took the entire sandwich up several notches. Every ingredient was fresh, the flavors were balanced, and honestly, I’m still full hours later. If you’re in Sonoma and craving a legit sandwich, Sonoma Sourdough Sandwiches is absolutely worth the stop

A LOT of (supermarket French) bread, a few thin slices of not very tasty filling, a lot of shredded iceberg lettuce. Not much different from a chain sub shop Toasted bread helped. Proces not bad.
I go here to get sandwiches all the time. I get one of the hot sandwiches and the chicken was totally freezer burnt. I come back and tell them that the sandwich I got had freezer burnt chicken and all I get is "sorry, maybe the sandwich was heated up" ya its a hot sandwich. doesn't cost much to give me a new sandwich and retain a customer.

I’ve had better. I’ve had worse. IMO not worth the price of the hype. Flavors were good, but mustard definitely overpowered the sandwich. Bread was great, but be prepared to eat it right away otherwise it gets rock hard. Don’t ask for pickles on your sandwich otherwise you are getting chopped up chunks. I won’t write this place of completely but I doubt it will be my “go-to” spot.
I thought of the Frosty King in the town I grew up that served the pastrami subs. So delicious!! So I saw this place as I’m here waiting for my truck to get loaded. Not even close!!🤢🤢 This is nothing more than a subway shop with processed meats galore. At least the Frosty’s pastrami was all bunched up and rippled from the tossing around the flat top separating the whole thing making it juicy and wild. This place needs help with presentation. Nothing much to say about a large and I telling LARGE piece of bread with processed meats just ligned up flat and flavorless. Never again!!!☹️😞

It was our first time trying their sandwiches today. People who ordered after us received their food first. We got all the way home only to realize they added condiments we specifically asked for them to leave off. Check your food before leaving.
Been coming here for 15 years, before they renamed to SSS it was Michael's Sourdough. They had great customer service, great bread and friendly staff. Now a few years after selling themselves, the quality of the food, staff and customer service has plummeted. Their bread is delivered daily and they cook it in house, however, it seems no one knows how long to cook bread for, as it is constantly undercooked.
OVERCHARGED and SCAMMED out of money by OWNER in the drive thru. Owner charged me $6 for a bagel with cream cheese and $8.50 for a smoothie. Denied overcharging and did not refund. MENU BOARD says $2.50 for the bagel and to add plain cream .50. She said to add cream cheese it was $3. How is adding cream cheese to a bagel $3? It’s not. $8.50 smoothie? I don’t like being scammed out of my hard working money, and I don’t like dishonest people! Filed a police report on the restaurant, and then with the health inspector, just for extra measures. I will be reaching out to the news and social media next. You scammed the wrong one lady!
