I had their clam chowder, along with their fish and chips. The clam chowder was my favorite and probably one of the best I’ve had from a semi fast food restaurant. The fish and chips were also very good, but the fish was a little too much breading for me and maybe I can try for a lighter breading next time. The fish quality though was superb and delicious. The sweet potato fries were also a nice side item and overall a great lunch. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items and customer service was excellent.

California Fish Grill have be come our favorite restaurant for fresh fish and other delicious items on their menu. The California Fish Grill we always go to is in Pasadena but we also try different California Fish Grill location like this one on Rosemead. One of my wife favorite item is the fish n chips because the fish is fresh it bring a great flavor with a nice batter covering that the fish crispy and crunchy in each bite. The fries were really that my wife but she really like the coleslaw really refreshing and light and fresh made. I try the Cajun catfish with a spicy Cajun sauce that I decided that remind me that Cajun Catfish meal in New Orleans that was so good. The meal comes the choices of sides I got the miso slaw was amazing good with great flavors. The Brussel sprout were incredible good they were char that bring the sweet from the Brussel sprouts. California Fish Grill use fresh ingredients like vegetables and also using high quality fish and other meats. The staff are amazing nice and helpful.

Placed an online order for pick-up at this location as were were travelling. We tried the Miso Salmon Avocado salad as well as well as the Miso Salmon bowl. Both were delicious and finger licking good. Portion size was regular and the fish cooked/grilled to perfection. Flavor balance with the miso combination was outstanding. Service is poor though and the order placed was for edamame quinoa rice but my order had brown rice instead. Also ordered strawberry mint juice but this was not included. Halfway back to our hotel, we noticed the missing juice so trudged back. The server was so casual about it and did not even apologise for the mistake. I guess that’s something they need to review. Location is great though. There’s a Target as well as Dollar Tree nearby if you need to grab essentials.

Always love coming to this particular location. It’s always clean and organized. Edward’s service was also attentive and spot on 👍🏼

As a local gym rat I love coming here after a workout. It’s nutritious, delicious, fairly priced and always comes out quick. I recommend dining in as the to go portions are smaller. Not the restaurants fault but the to go containers don’t hold as much as if they stack the food on a large plate. I always get fish tacos and sub one out for shrimp on flour tortillas. I also like having it with a size of tomatoes with feta cheese and some beans. Hardy nutrient rich meal great for any post workout recovery.

Quality food at a fair price. Ordered the fish tacos for Taco Tuesday and a shrimp bowl. Everything tasted great with Quality ingredients. Will definitely be back.

I ordered the fish and chips, and it was amazing—crispy, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. On top of that, the service was excellent. Definitely a place I’d recommend!

The GM Ms. Emily was soo generous & the way she speaks to her staff & runs this establishment is astounding. I don't usually give long reviews but I qm greatly appreciative of the service is received today.

Our food was good but the service from Jason was amazing. Very courteous, and very knowledgeable. His service is worth returning for along with food. Oh and great fish tacos! Parking lot is a bit tight but free.

First off, customer service was excellent. Very friendly staff with delicious food and huge servings and fast service. Clean interior was a very big plus also. Will I be back? Definitely a yes.

In the same plaza as Target, where Starbucks used to be in that corner with Ono's and Nothing Bundt Cakes. It's quite spacious inside with decent seating. Get in line to order at the self-serve kiosks and then you'll get notified via text when your food is ready. We both picked the 'Create Your Plate' and customized it to our liking. We got the swai with chimichurri sauce, with sides of french fries and rosemary zucchini ($11.25) as well as the Atlantic salmon, cajun style, with sides of white rice and rosemary zucchini ($15.99). The plates easily fill you up, so if you want, there's petite sizes of the plates. The zucchini is a must have side while having the white rice made me feel like I was eating a fish bowl with the fish, rice, and veggies. Both were soooo good. Parking in the lot right outside California Fish Grill can get packed, but I didn't have any problems finding a spot. If not, you can park closer to Target or the Dollar Tree and walk over.

Cool place, food was ok...portions were good.. took over 17 min to get food and order was wrong... would not come here for a lunch break or if time is limited.

Going out to eat when you’re almost starved usually makes food tastes good no matter what…but not in this case. I tried so hard to taste the flavor even finish one whole taco but it was just bitter, didn’t get any good taste out of it. 😥 French fries were salty. Ate only to get energy but didn’t give me joy. Still thankful for food🙏

Our food was cold when we got home and we only live 8 mins away lol. Plus they got our order wrong, figures. Do yourself a favor and just drive to Pasadena or get something else nearby. I went for a fish sandwich. They discontinued it. I had the fish and chips. The fish was so-so. The chips were like they were made yesterday. They were out of tarter sauce and vinegar. ???? What the!!!!. The clam chowder is like hot milk with no content.
