Tai Siu Restaurant Rosemead Reviews
A relative recommended this place for the hotpot. I'm glad we tried it out. The hotpot did not disappoint. It had a satisfying bean curd flavor and goes compliments the meats. The tofu skin was crispy and you can actually order some more to add in the hotpot. The portion was decent for a small group. We also order 2 other fish items that was also great. The seasonings were on point and goes so well with white rice. The menu is a unique collection of Vietnamese/Chinese dishes that are not found in standard Vietnamese restaurants in the area. I would definitely come back for more. The atmosphere really feel felt like I was in Saigon again for some reason. Maybe it's the tile floor. Maybe it's the customer service. I can't really put my finger on it.
One of my favorite Cambodian places. Service is excellent. Food is great. We were served in the parking lot. Quail was great! Venison was tender. Hot pot was very tasty. Lamb curry was right on point. Fries pork chop was good. I Recommend Tai sui and don't forget the frog legs, the best
This the first time eating at their new location.. VERY GOOD.... definitely be coming once a month that's for sure
This restaurant has been around for decades, been going there when they were at the old place at San Gabriel BL, but moved Valley Bl. They have the best Lamb hot pot / Lamb pot. It's very good. Also their Dice beef, very good. Service is a bit lagging, but they are pretty funny staffs. It's worth going. The food is good. Vietnamese style and flavor
My Mom love them. Friendly staff, quickly services and foods, reasonable prices. Will be back.
Great place for Vietnamese home cooked dishes especially good with an ice cold beer.
Tried this place for their lamb stew (M1). Very tasty, hearty and not too gamey. They've rendered it down so it isn't too strong or smelly. There's bean curd, mushroom, and other goodies in there. Comes with a side of greens and bean thread noodles.
Best Phnom Penh rice noodles soup flavor 😋😋
Very nice family restaurant. Best noodle soup. Best goat dish. Tasty fried frog legs.

#54 fish with the special sauce is the gem of the menu - its always perfectly crispy and flavorful! I would suggest getting the larger fish if sharing with 2+ people. Restaurant owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming! Do yourself a favor and eat here next time you’re craving something delicious.
This place was great! We got hot pot and it was such a good spice and it was a decent amount of food for 6 people. The frog legs were superrrr good. The service was really great, our server was really kind and funny.
Tai Siu restaurant: been coming here for almost 10 years. As always, varies famous VN dishes. delicious, great services best of all, great deal. Try the lamb stew hot pot my favor! (See images)
If you like good comfort Vietnamese food then this is your spot. I always bring my family here when I come to visit. The food is always delicious and low price. We fed a family of 10 for a reasonable price. It's a local family-owned restaurant with food that lives up to family cooking. While the decor may not be very fancy they are slowly upgrading. The owner Nancy is very nice. Try the red macaroni with tender beef, the braised catfish, banh xeo and more. So yummy.
Oh my this place have a long list of food on their menu, I like that. I'm going back to try their other dish. My first time here to buy food for my brother who injured his right foot. I was surprised on the food options and service was great.

First, I ordered fish with tomato sauce ($26) but probably I came around 2: 30 pm, they said they did not have fish! So I ordered the curry goat but I couldn’t eat it since it was salty & too oily. By the way, the goat meat itself was cooked well. Curry goat included deep fried potatoes & lots of coconut milk, & as the result, it was too oily. I ate only one bite & left all the remaining for my husband to finish it. This was the second time that I visited this restaurant. First time was like 1 or 2 yrs ago when it moved from San Gabriel Blvd to here, Valley. Menu prices are pricier than prices at most other Vietnamese restaurants, that probably explained why the place has been always empty at lunch! 😁. They didn’t have lunch special prices for Vietnamese meals (like vegetables dishes were mostly at least $18 excluding taxes). The server was not nice. Restaurant & restroom were clean though.

I remember coming to this restaurant a while ago, just wanted a simple take out order, customer service was extremely rude and sarcastic after the female cashier found out that I wasn’t planning on spending a lot that day, I can never forget about that experience, never been treated like that, no apology can make it up
I past this location many times and wondered how the place is. Today I gave it a try. Not at all what I was looking for. We wanted pho and egg rolls. What we ordered was not pho and person came back and said no more egg rolls. Later I said main reason we were out was for the egg rolls and person replied saying people in the back was too lazy to make them. How hard is that? I guess it is easier just to disappoint us. Strike 3 is the parking in the back with cars parked on poth sides, it leaves little room to backup and maneuver out. Sorry but this place is not my cup of tea.
