This place was great. Delicious food, great service from both the waiter and the cooks, and good environment. We all ordered pupusas and I ordered a sope also. They offer vegan food, just by changing some of the items by not having cheese or sour cream or meat. Their beans are yummy and the plantains are super yummy. Everything tasted good, including their coffee. We will definitely be back here to eat in the future.

This is my FAVORITE place to get pupusas, EVER!!!!!!!! They are so delicious, I want some every week! 😋. They are family owned and operated small business that you should support right away!!! Plate 3 is perfection. ✨️🎉 Serving authentic flavors, using recipes passed down from generation to generation. Seriously, why are you still reading??? GO! The owner is a phenomenal chef, so very kind 💖 Highly recommend!!! 🏆🌟 p.s. I love the fresh passion fruit juice, and delicious homemade green salsa

SO yummy!! First had the pupusas in Monterey Park at a food fair. Wanted to try the brick and mortar and it’s still so tasty!! Parking lot is small but manageable. Plenty of seating inside. CASH ONLY (or Zelle) and the food is made to order so you will have to wait (unless you call ahead). One pupusa is about $4.50.

I’ve been coming to this place for years and I absolutely love the food and service! The food is always fresh and warm as they make everything from hand! The people are always so kind and feel so welcomed!

Simply, AMAZING and delightful food combined with extremely fast service! The crew was able to adapt and follow health guidelines during Covid-19, which provided the safest and organized dining experience. There are a lack of tables to sit in, but the takeout is just as good as eating there. Best recommendation is to call ahead due to large orders being made during rush hour. Since food is being made fresh, it will take a few minutes to get orders out.

Hidden little spot with some surprisingly yummy pupusas. Awesome...plus the prices! 2 people could eat fairly well for under 30 dollars. Recommend!

This Salvi place is my to go spot for yummy salvi food! The food here does take a while for you to get since it's made to order. So expect to wait a little while to get your fresh yummy food, Salvi food is made when you order it. I've tried different plates from here all very delicious, from the pupusas, yucca con chicharron to their sopas all on point! Their fried plantains (platanos fritos) B.O.M.B best I've tried so far, they almost melt in your mouth... yummy! They have this plate called the people's breakfast which I do recommend, that will hit the spot. I do both eat there at the restaurant or takeout, the restaurant itself they keep it pretty clean. Customer service has been a hit or miss, sometimes they're nice with that welcoming attitude and sometimes not so good, regardless though food still comes out hot and fresh. The restaurant is in a not so good area, you'll get lots of unhoused people which is the reason why I order to go now, wish this place was more in a visible spot it's easy to miss. Other than that food is 5 stars and heck yeah I'll keep coming back!

Very good food. Lots of pupusa options to choose from. This place is kind hidden in a rundown small shopping center but don't let that stop you. The food is good and the service is excellent. We ordered to go and while we waited they gave us a free agua fresca and an appetizer.

They had very generous plates. Pupusas where bomb although I like mine a lil more crunchy and a lil more greasy. But the texture was great. Cook to perfection, the inside is as basic as you can get. Got a t.v on top of a trash can, a huge fan to keep it cool in there, and minimal decorations. Some of the drinks weren’t available but that’s ok. I didn’t go there for the drinks, or the decorations, I went for the food , and let me tell you I wasn’t disappointed. I will definitely return if I’m in the area again . 4 stars because the ambiance wasn’t there.

This place wasn't too bad. I'd say what lacked was the time and effort into making the food. We dined in and the prices are a bit high compared to other Salvadorian places. Food was okay just not what I was expecting.

The food was good, but service was really bad. The owner looked like she was upset. And she responded not in a good mood 🙁. And she even mentioned that some of us didn’t gave her tip when we did. We couldn’t enjoy your food. We will not be back to this place. Her son and daughter are very nice 👍.

Ew. No. Not coming back. Pupusas took only 5 minutes. Super soggy, no flavor(besides oil). Not enough cheese, not enough meat. Asked for dine in, got take out. Aren't the pupusas supposed to take a while to cook?

I had the worst experience when I ordered food to go. Some woman over there treats me so rudely, and I believe that she was mad because she told me that my food (only 4 pupusas) would be ready in ten minutes, and I arrived a little bit later ( about ten minutes late). Anyway, I don't recommend this place.

These people post up at the Barnes Park Farmers Market and for $7 a pupusa, "señora" shouldn't get mad when I'm asking for more curtido. When I asked her for more she took my bag and gave me another bag with less and and when I walked away she whispered something rude like "Ha, the other bag had more". Very spiteful and rude considering I was very respectful. It's like "Señora, why are you trying to piss someone off that just spent $40 on your establishment just to prove a point" ... So RUDE and I will never spend another penny here at this place. BTW... no one else was there, the pupusas are mid, and they probably would have tasted better if they had MORE CURTIDO the way me and my family like to eat them. If she's the owner thats too bad but if shes just the cook, I hope they have a talk with her. The tamales in the next tent are way yummy and the guy is super nice! The picture below is the tiny bag they gave me for 5 pupusas.

Don't come here lady ( who I’m guessing is the owner) is super rude. She answers the phone all damn rude and gives her dumb attitude. Thats how you want to run a business don't forget the customers make your restaurant. She tried to overcharge me $15 and when I told her about it she told me I was giving her attitude when it was her. Please check your receipts because this place is probably overcharging you.
