Drunken Noodle Sacramento Reviews
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Drunken Thai Noodles – Downtown Sacramento This place is truly a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious—every dish is packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is clean, welcoming, and has a comfortable atmosphere. What really stands out is the value—you get top-quality, flavorful Thai food at prices that are extremely reasonable (definitely on the cheaper side compared to other places with food this good). I will definitely be coming back here again and again. If you’re in downtown Sacramento and craving Thai food, this spot should be at the top of your list!
Great spot! Hit the happy hour Monday to Friday from 4:30-6pm for $2 off apps and tap beer! Even better, grab the pitcher of beer for $20–which includes EVERY beer on tap! It’s a super chill environment with great service. Isaiah was a friendly and attentive server, and who offered great food suggestions. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer, and panang curry and drunken noodle because we wanted to try the namesake of the establishment. For sure will recommend this place to others!
No joke, this is one of the BEST Thai food places in Sacramento!!! I kinda don’t want to write a review for fear of it getting to busy 😅 It’s the cutest little restaurant in midtown, service is always fast and friendly. I have tried so many menu items and they were all cooked to perfection. Seriously sooooo yummy! One of my faves - the curry 😋 and their brown (purple) rice is so pretty and has a bit of crunch texture. I usually love white rice but their brown rice is worth checking out!
Service and food were impeccable!! We were big fans of the pad Thai , cream cheese wontons, garlic pepper tofu, and of course the drunken noodle dish. We split three four dishes and got beers and it was still fairly affordable!
This is pretty good restaurant. Especially with this price and this quality food, it’s really amazing. I visit here in happy hour time. Spring rolls, calamari fries, garlic french fries are happy hour menu so each dish was less than 5bucks. They made them when I ordered so it taste fresh. I like their calamari fries and the sauce. Spring rolls have some tofu inside which went well with their peanut sauce. Garlic fries are okay but not that special. As an entree, i got red curry with chicken. They put a lot of ingredients and blended well in the soup. I was told this place is run by the same owner which is coconut on T. However taste is pretty different. Drunken noodle is way better and fresh.
The crispy pad thai had too much sauce. Not our favorite. The tom kha soup was decent, very creamy. Small restaurant, quick service, reasonable price, good food. Tried pad thai and drunken noodles, both were delicious. Recommended.
We enjoyed our experience here. We ordered the drunken noodles with beef. I particularly liked the flavor the vegetables give to the dish and the beef had a char taste. The portion was good too. We also ordered the yellow curry with chicken which was delicious too, similarly with a good amount of vegetables in it. We had to order an extra portion of rice to finish the dish. Service was great too.
Everything about our experience was AMAZING! Service was fast and attentive. The food was so fresh and great flavor. We ordered so many different things! Fresh rolls, cheese wonton, potstickers, and fried calamari for appetizers. Tom yum soup, BBQ chicken, basil fried rice, and black pepper vegetables with tofu. The Thai coffee was perfect. I will be returning <3
What a great restaurant! I tried the Drunken Noodle with chicken and my honey had the Spicy Pad Thai. He also had some hot saki and a beer that looked like grape kool aid - he said all were really good. We had coconut ice cream with an edible flower. (I had never eaten a flower, tastes like salad.) Really friendly staff, really good food, clean dining room and an all around pleasant experience.
Amazing Thai food! Went here for my mothers birthday and was not disappointed. We got drunken noodles, Thai fried rice and Pad se ew. $12.95 for huge portions, great price and taste. Will definitely be returning :)
I went here for a quick bite to eat as I'm discovering new places in town and they are very good and it didn't take too long to get the food. I ordered pot stickers that came with some kind of sauce for $6 and I got the spicy pad Thai and added beef and veggies for a couple extra bucks ≈ $18 . The portions are massive. This is definitely a good place to go with someone. I spent about $24 before tip when I went alone but I have leftovers for a couple days. The atmosphere is rather interesting though, but they have very pretty and unique painting on the walls. All in all I enjoyed my experience and would definitely go back to try the drunken noodles that the restaurant is named for.
Food was really good, hot, and fresh. Service was fast. Paid parking on J St, but usually you can find free parking on the numbered streets. They are closed during the afternoon. They also have coupons on Yelp if you check-in.
1st time here & it was within walking distance from our airbnb. Great service & yummy vegetarian options. huge portions so we had lots leftover
Friendly service, large portions, and beer deals! That’s three of my favorite things! It was such an enjoyable experience eating at the drunken noodle. Next time you’re in mid town and looking for tasty Thai food, I highly recommend saying hello to the crew here.

My favorite thing here is the drunken noodle. Hits the spot every time. I've learned no spice is the best way to go for me. The medium was way too hot and I have a high tolerance.
This place was so good! Loved the chicken yellow curry add extra veggies. Drunken noodle was yummy. Thai iced tea is my favorite 10/10 thank you. Big portions too

A quiet hole in the wall place. Great food especially for the price, I recommend the tom kha or pad see ew. The staff is friendly, we didn’t have to wait long for a table.
Very kind employee or owner served us and was very attentive for us :) The food was delicious and as my friend says the Thai Tea was very good! Very wonderful portions and appetizers There is a gratitude 🙏 included for service so please keep in mind while paying
Dine in is open. We ordered fresh rolls, eggplant with chicken, drunken noodles, and mango with sticky rice. All come with big portion. Ingredients are fresh but chicken and beef were overcooked. The flat noodle was not the ones I used to have in other Thai restaurants. Dipping for the rolls was okay. Our favorite dish is the dessert. Very good coconut ice cream. Sticky rice was well cooked and served warm. Mango was a bit unripe. Overall good dessert.

After a wedding, we stopped for some appetizers and drinks before a wedding reception. We shared the papaya salad, calamari, potstickers, and angel wings. The food was very tasty with super fresh produce (papaya salad (delicious) and garnishments). Service was quick, attentive, and friendly. It is a small place. So, you have to walk behind the counter to get to the restroom. They need to tidy up the space behind the counter and make sure the water is boiling hot in the tea pot. We will definitely return for other meal options.
The drunken noodles were not good. The noodles were all clumped together and over cooked. Not much flavor either. The only positive was the peppers and broccoli seemed fresh and not over cooked. Also got the wings. They were most definitely previously fried and just warmed when ordered. The restaurant was too warm inside and the guests were all sickly appearing. Happy I ordered to go, but lost my appetite waiting. Staff was friendly with great service. Threw away about 80% of the food.
