If you enjoy healthy foods in the Sacramento area, try Fit Eats. Similar to a concept in TX(Snap Kitchen), this is a hybrid system: you can shop, grab & go OR, set up a home delivery meal plan. A diverse range of meals, breakfast/lunch/dinner are available in standard or large sizes. I’ve included photos for their delicious turkey sliders & chicken Parmesan over tubular pasta(tortellini). There’s a series of refrigerators marked Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Dine there or take home. As a business traveler, I enjoy great food but also something that is healthy, prepared homestyle as well as inexpensive. Have included photos also of the ingredients & breakdowns of the calories, sodium (Na) content, etc. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful & offer solutions to the harried meal planner. I’ll be returning again.
“Absolutely love Fit Eats! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. You can really tell they use quality ingredients, and the menu has great variety for healthy eating without sacrificing taste. The service is friendly and fast, and everything is well packaged and ready to go. It makes staying on track with fitness and nutrition so much easier. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious, healthy meals!”
Amazing sandwiches, both vegetarian and with meat. The staff is friendly, quick and really professional. This is a super store for a really great company. If you haven't been to Ike's you need to treat yourself to one of these subs!

This place is hit or miss. Some of the food was great and some not so much. Delivery was great and they also have a store front to pick stuff up. For our family, it was best to get main dishes and then supplement with our own side dishes. Lastly can be pretty expensive.

Stopped by on Friday 9/22. Woman at the counter was very nice. Food: picked up green chili chicken, turkey Mac and cheese, and beef fajita. Green chili chicken was ok at best. Turkey Mac and cheese was tasteless and had way too many bread crumbs on top. Steak fajita tasted pretty bad. I won’t be back unfortunately.
The positives are that Fit Eats is fast, healthy, and convenient! I buy the prepackaged meals to eat after my workouts and feel like they are the most nutritious option for when I don't have time to cook. The negatives are that the menu items are hit and miss when it comes to the taste. Some of the meals are decent. I wouldn't call any of them delicious. A few of them are really gross and overcooked like school cafeteria food. I could barely choke down the burger which is a really tough beef patty with greasy red onions, a small scoop of overly-peppered mashed potatoes, and a drizzle of bbq sauce.
Most of the Fit Eats meals are too high in fat. There are a lot of meals with high fat content cheese on them which is one of the worst things to consume for people trying to get fit/stay fit, or simply get lean. On the plus side, most Fit Eats meals are tasty and good quality, I’d give them five stars if they had better macros.

Sheena behind the counter is great! The product though is very spotty. Inconsistent inventory means one can never count on their meal being on hand, to inconsistent packaging so the actual purchase ounces rarely matches ounces on label. I've had meals labeled 14 oz, range from 11 to 20 oz.
Pretty disappointed in the size and quality of the meals. It's like a glorified microwave dinner. I'd recommend finding a healthy selection at a restaurant or deli instead. I ordered 4 different meals and they were all skimpy and average.

Worst $80 I've ever spent. Disgusting & wasn't able to finish any of it. Impossible mushroom stroganoff tasted rancid. Chicken Fried Rice was dry Chicken, gummy unseasoned rice. Asado Chicken was dry & flavorless with mushy zucchini. Pasta Pomodoro AL Forno tasted like they added a cup of vinegar. I didn't even bother trying the Lemon Thyme Chicken Tenders I ordered and just thew it away. Gross and a waste of money all around.
Ordered through grub hub based on distance and time to eat. Ordered noodles and sliders for my kids. Had no idea that these were microwave dinners. The descriptions looked great and healthy, but read the ingredients: high fructose corn syrup and preservatives. Also, disgusting.

I ordered food through Grubhub after seeing the pictures online, which made the meals look fresh and healthy. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The food arrived pre-packaged, likely frozen at some point. I ordered the carne asada bowl, and it had a very strong, unpleasant smell even before heating. The avocado provided in the plastic container looked swollen and close to bursting, likely due to spoilage. The meat also smelled rotten, and the odor was overwhelming. Very disappointing experience—0/10.
I placed an order this past weekend. I did not receive the meals I ordered. I figured that due to the Easter holiday, there may have been a mishap. I called and left a message. No callback. I reached out via their customer service form on the website, sent multiple emails (both in response to their receipt and directly to their support email address), called every day, and also reached out via Instagram. I've reached out to my bank to handle the matter for me, as I'd like a refund if the business is unwilling to return a phone call or find a resolution for the food I've already paid for. In the past, I've loved FitEats -- great food, great macros, great support for busy times -- but this is disappointing, and I see I'm not alone in my experience.
I ordered from them to be delivered by Toast. My order was supposed to be delivered yesterday at 10:20 am. I checked the Toast delivery tracking, no updates, nothing still shows to be delivered yesterday. I've called & left so many messages, emails, etc. No response at all. The charge is still showing pending on my card. The is absolutely unacceptable!
Went in there to pick up “Fit Eats”. Did not know how to order as it’s done on computer/phone orders. Was second in line while worker was with another customer. Looked at me but didn’t say anything as she went into the back. I waited about five minutes, she did not come back. I noticed a bell to ring for employees. I’m rang the bell, waited a few minutes and.. nothing. I rang it again and…. No one came up. Tried to figure out how to do an order over the computer finally figured out to do it after several minutes. It would not allow an order to go through. It displayed a message saying “not accepting orders”. I’d been there about a half hour. While this went on. Just in case there was a mistake, I tried ordering again and got the same message.. “Not accepting orders”. Tried ringing the bell again and no one came to the counter. I finally gave up and left. It’s sad really, I’ve been a customer for several years and they have now gone to this new system. I expect it’s time that I find a company that actually wants to do business with me.
Absolutely horrible. With a name like Fit Eats and for $15 for a spatula sized scoop of ground beef and pasta, I was expecting to actually eat my lunch when I picked up my food. Instead I get this stupid, not fresh looking heat sealed cold puck of ground beef and pasta. I don’t care if you are a ghost kitchen, I don’t care how much the meal costs but I expect when I pay $15, to get some fresh made food FROM A COMMERCIAL KITCHEN WITH A STOVE that I can eat without going home and heating up the food. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. Don’t eat here.
Food was good and I was a loyal customer for a long time. I got food poisoning twice from their meals and tried to reach out for them to remedy the situation and only got rude responses from the owner. It's time to move on and find a company that respects and appreciates loyal customers. It wouldn't have taken much to keep me as a customer. Sad and unfortunate. If you want to be valued as a customer, go elsewhere for your meal prep services.
Paid 30 bucks for two meals to be delivered. Apparently doordash drivers help deliver the meals. The doordash driver gave me the wrong meal. I called fit eats to let them know I didn't get my food and I was told to try and get the food back from the driver . Jee thanks ! Never ordering again from here. Such a shame.
I ordered them from door dash, assuming they were an actual restaurant and was incredibly frustrated to open my bag and find the smalleat portioned frozen meals I've ever seen. Their listing on door dash and even on google is very misleading as neither mentions that these are frozen dinners. On top of that, the quality was about on par with any other frozen meal option. Definitely not worth the $10+. I guess I could see someone with money and a very busy schedule enjoying these as a quick, healthy food option but for the average income person, you're much better off going to the grocery store and getting something more affordable with better taste.
Seemed difficult to get a hold of when I wanted to get my subscription canceled. They claimed I got an email response but I didn’t. They told me I didn’t leave a # to call back and that call was after their email response etc super rude. I emailed them twice and called 4 times no answer to which I left 2 voice messages with my order ID and in the second voice message I did make sure I left my number clearly. I finally got an email response telling me everything I guess I did wrong 2 weeks later. My point is that it was super easy to enroll in the subscription I didn’t need to email or call anyone. It should be just as easy and simple to cancel it.
