Shine Cafe Sacramento Reviews
I moved to Sacramento recently and have been checking out every coffee spot. I saw the reviews and came to check it out. This place is great in my opinion. Check it out yourself. I notice the bad reviews come from a bullying point of view and have nothing to do with the cafe itself
Great place to cool off after summer bike rides!

I found this place when I lived in the area. The staff is awesome, they care about customer satisfaction and go the extra mile. The regulars are great people, super friendly, and will get to know you if you go regularly. It's become a regular hangout for me. I often bring my laptop and get a ton of work done. They have always been awesome about turning down the music if I'm having a business meeting on my laptop, and they ask the right detail questions. The bathroom is always clean and they have a key for a reason - if you hang out long enough you'll notice that unhoused folks often try to use the restroom. Most employees are Armenian and the culture is different, but give them a chance & you'll be impressed. Great place to watch football and UFC!
Found this place on Google waiting for the machine at Black Rock auto to look at my vehicle. Staff is very friendly, that have a good selection of food/snacks and drinks. Very welcoming atmosphere. Cute little café.
All the workers are super nice here. Nice spot to study.
Great opportunity to grow your connections and simply have a great time with their tasty drink options.
Amazing service!! 👏 I love this place. Relaxing music and a pool table.
Great quesadilla! Loved the chill atmosphere.

Very relaxed/laid back cafe that is perfect for chatting with friends, socializing with other customers, or even studying/reading. The place is right on the corner of 14th and E but from the outside doesn’t look as lively as it is inside. They have seating at the bar, in front of the big windows (where you get to see the beautiful trees), some booths, tables, and couches! There’s a pool table and they have tvs playing shows. The staff were very nice and explained the drink options and provided recommendations. We sampled the Bali tea both regular and with syrup. It is a bitter tea so beware if that’s not your thing but the syrups help it taste better. Personally I liked the bitter flavor mixed with the syrup. My friend ordered a lavender latte and I order the matcha latte. When asked what level of sweet I wanted between 1-10 I asked for a 7 and it was honesty on the spot and perfect. We didn’t try any food. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.

A small group of writers have been meeting at 6pm at Shine for conversation, but it's very loud here. They play music, and there's people playing pool. The Roobios tea is good, and good tables. I just wish we could find somewhere quieter.

I came to see this place because my child started to disappear there often! And teenagers won't be drawn to a place where everything is legal and good. The tea needs to be sent for examination to make sure it's not some new addictive drug! the atmosphere of this cafe = teenagers who want to hang out, smoke, be cool. what kind of tea do they serve there, what is the composition of this tea, raises a big question??? since tea is usually a glass, a tea cup and not a 1 liter bottle. this is not a store but a cafe!

If you ever want to feel like you’re not part of the “club” go here. The place seems to be a “bro” hangout. Of the 12 people in the place while I was there….they all seemed to know each other and apparently have some connection with owner/manager. I saw no less than 6 of them go behind the counter and make their own drink, grab their own pastry, etc. Other than taking my drink order not a single person acknowledged me yet every other person in the place interacted with each other. Was the most bizarre scene I’ve ever encountered in a public coffee shop.
This place has gone downhill. Used to be a great cafe but the current vibes are not it. Recommend checking out one of the many great surrounding cafes and skip this stop.
The tea is bitterrr.. The most annoying is that the key bathroom is the most ridiculous thing.. like I came to this place to chill not to solve the damn puzzle how to use a st0pid key bathroom. The barista girl is nice, she should get pay more P.s. the bathrooms is sticks so bad…
Horrible atmosphere and the barista did she didn’t know how to make a cappuccino?
mid of all mid, go to milka down the block or Sunhouse cafe
I just walked in and sat at the bar. I stayed long enough to see the person "working" pick his nose while watching football. He didn't even turn away from the screen when he saw me sit down to order so I left.
