I love sonic!! This location is awesome my food was hot and tasted soo good! I ordered 2 chill cheese dogs, chili cheese tots, and a cheese burger everything was made perfect and like I said before the food was hot . I forgot to ask for ketchup and they put ketchup already and the right amount! I love this location.

they are probably understaffed, the folks who work here are nice but messed up our order and took a while. but keep in mind its a busy area and they have TWO drive through lines. great jalapeno poppers though. didn't ask for a refund, its fast food man, chill

This location seems to be very understaffed during peak hours. The team there works as quickly as they can but a drive thru order of 3 items really shouldn’t take ~ 35 minutes. The food and drinks themselves aren’t bad. I would recommend if you don’t see any other customers in line or want to spend time in your car.

Was in the Delta Shores area today for shopping. Stopped by Sonic for their $1.99 Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger since it's Monday. I was told they did not participate in the promo. Ordered a couple of the burgers anyway for $3.99 each plus one other item. Waited for 15 minutes with three cars in front of me. Observed workers gossiping and laughing through the drive thru window. Please do better. When I got home, I had a flattened burger that was the smallest double quarter pounder I have ever seen. See photo.

We ordered our burgers and drinks at 1050 with no one in drive and 1 additional car in a stall. Still our drinks were wrong and burger was cold with no lettuce!! It’s the beginning of lunch before the rush and our stuff was wrong. How????? We used the app so just read it!!! We ordered slushes but received drinks with ice only. My double cheeseburger had no lettuce on it and was swarmed with Mayo see pic. The other burger was a bacon burger that was cold. We ordered at 1050. Why is it cold already??? So this one is located in a good shopping center with a lot of stuff around to enjoy. The app is the easiest way to order but they take a good minute to get your food, so make sure you have time to wait. Lastly, stalls 1,2,4 we can never check in on the app for some reason, so we played stall roulette to get our food.

The Food and drinks here are great what gets me is the customer experience. I ordered my food on the app and arrive at the estimated time the app shows my food will be ready by. When I enter the drive through me and another car were asked to wait. 6 minutes have gone by and still waiting. Once it’s my turn I let them know I had a mobile order. He asked me to pull forward. When I got to the window he asked which order was I and I had to repeat I made a mobile order. He said “oh..right” and said one moment. I’m thinking he is going to get the bag. No turns out it wasn’t even ready and I was in like for about 15 minutes. He needed to take additional time to make my food. Comes back to the windown and just stares at me and gives me the bag. Left the window and he mumbled something as I was leaving. I have come to this sonic many other times but this time it was bad.

Please hire more people, sonic should be doing business like it's in & out neighbor if for no other reason then it's uniqueness but the insanity of the slow service definitely destroys a more robust business. Case in point, 9:06pm. I got in drive-thru at 8:32pm. Each car sits at speaker 5 minutes and then again at window. I wish I was exaggerating. 9:06 and still a car in front of me. 9:17, so nothing is nuclear hot like they were waiting on fryer, ham burger isnt off the grill hot. So what is going on? I counted 3 employees which isn't enough, but I'm hard pressed to believe I by myself could have been slower

Guys. Your business model is literally a drive-in. When half of the stalls are coned off AND the drive thru is closed off at 2:30 in the afternoon, the franchise owner needs to hire more people. I know you’re short staffed, but this is attempt #4 at trying to get food here between my shifts, and I end up waiting a solid hour from time of order to food handed to me. And for the love of god, please don’t just give me the copy/paste response you’ve put on EVERY OTHER REVIEW saying the same thing. I’m not calling your franchise owner, I’m telling you here and now, the way this particular franchise is understaffed is not acceptable. It’s called “fast food”, if I wanted to wait an hour to eat, I’ll go to a sit down restaurant. Again, please don’t just respond with the same copied/pasted response you’ve left for everyone else. That doesn’t show me you take these reviews seriously.

They spend more time and effort on the drive through. "Lose" orders. Long wait times either way. Not sure if they are understaffed or just don't care.

This place is the absolute worst, not sonic, but overall fast food experience of all time. Customers waiting an hour plus for food not even myself but an extremely large group of customers. actually as i’m writing this a customer stated “i’ve been waiting 45 minutes for my order” the place in insane. i can guarantee it’s one of those businesses where they absolutely REFUSE to hire people. there’s only 3 workers total that we have seen so it proves that point exactly. not to mention upon looking outside at the cars, they only had about 4 cars total outside. they told us that there was about 6 orders ahead of us. now i have absolutely no problem with waiting but an hour plus is absolutely absurd. not to mention, NONE of the workers know how to cancel an order everyone has about as much knowledge as I do about that place and i’ve never even worked at the damn place. no such thing as really “cancelling an order” the list could go on. LOOK AT THE REVIEWS SONIC. THE DEMAND IS TOO HIGH FOR THERE TO BE ABSOLUTELY NO WORKERS. FIX THIS ASAP EDIT: If we don’t get our refund we absolutely will escalate this and be happy to do so. don’t like it do something about the location.

I live about 15 miles from this Sonic. It's the closet one to my house. My wife and I decided we wanted to take a trip to have some good food. I got to the parking lot. I placed and order in the app and pulled into a stall and checked in. 20 minutes passes past the estimated ready time. I push the red button and ask about my order. 5 minutes later my order appears. The drinks are sweating with half melted ice, the ice cream Sundae is liquid.Clearly the order had been sitting and they forgot about it until I brought it to their attention. I pointed this out to the car hop and she tried to convince me that it was just made. Then she said something about the ice cream machine acting up, fine but what about the melted drinks?. She said because I ordered in the app all issues needed to be addressed with the app. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came out and asked me what the problem was and I explained to him that the order was not fresh. I wanted a refund and or remake and he said that because I ordered in the app I needed to take it up with support. He then offered to remake the drinks. While he was remaking the drinks we discovered that our 2 orders of cheese tots were regular tots. I would like to notate that there is an $1.99 up charge per order of cheese tots. I brought this to his attention. He then proceeds to question me about weather or not I actually got my cheese tots. I pulled the tots out and asked him if he seen any cheese.He finally goes inside and brings out 1 order of cheese tots while he has the receipt in his hand that clearly says 2. He goes back inside and brings out the second order. We go digging through the bag there is no napkins. I open the burger I ordered and none of the customizations(no mayo, no tomato, add ketchup and mustard)not complicated. I requested were done. I did not call them back because at this point I have no faith they are going to get anything right and it had been 45 minutes. For fast food. I don't mind waiting a bit for things to be fresh and correct but when it's late and not fresh or correct, then what is the point? Poor management and poor customer service. Not taking responsibility for your mistakes and gaslighting the customer for using your companies app is ridiculous. You lost 2 longtime customers over this nonsense.

I had ordered only 2 combos, after 50 minutes of waiting someone finally came out to tell us that they actually don't have one of the burgers anymore. I didn't mind ordering something else but what I do mind is the fact they made me wait 50 minutes to finally tell me that actually don't have it. After changing my order they came back outside to tell us that apparently their frier exploded and they couldn't make our sides. At this point we decided to just get a refund and get our drinks to leave, but they couldn't even do that, we waited even longer for just 2 drinks until we got fed up and just left. Horrible experience and completely ruined my night.

just close the place down at this point: barely anyone working there to the point it’ll take you 20 mins to receive the simplest of orders, if you want anything to happen you more than likely will have to go in there except there’s no area to get service indoors so you have to go straight to the kitchen, management doesn’t seem to care about their employees which contributes to lack of staff, and if you order at the stalls don’t even bother; nobody will remember you. this place is slower than if you were to just make the food yourself. this is NOT how you Sonic, call this place Audacity drive in instead.

Delta Shore Sonic needs HELP! Seriously, hire people. Hire me! Takes so long to order, to receive the food and top of that always out of menu items! Why? I noticed when I order from $1.99 menu for my kids cause they eat so little (drive-tru ladies) always say “We don’t have that menu here”; excuse me? Then where do you have it at? 😁 Get help, no apologies, make some moves! You guys are at Delta Shore the newest nice shopping center, update your service please!

Took over 15 minutes to get a side of French fries. Thats it. I didn’t even go through drive thru or parked. I went inside the lobby to order. Over 15 minutes. For. One. Side. Of. Freaking. Fries. The food was absolutely disgusting the worst food I’ve ever eaten. Poorly cooked, ingredients were horrific, everything just looked bad. I can say the sundae I got was good but that’s it. Chili dog I took one bite. Cheesy tots, my son hated them. We threw away most of our order.

Took about 50+ minutes to get food. Gave up counting after 30 minutes. Like what the actual heck. Anyways. The food was fine. They clearly missed a ticket or something because the food tasted like the subpar food I expect. Only come here for the slushies. Side QUEST: there's a starbucks nearby. Bet ur friends if you can go get something from Starbucks and come back before you food comes.

I love Sonic. Unfortunately I have been to this location many times and my order has only been right on two occasions. I do not like posting negative things but oh my goodness. I asked for a sandwich that was supposed to be Texas toast, tomato, chicken, bacon and mayo. The attached photo is what I received. This sandwich was completely rancid smelling when I opened the wrapping.

Not the first time with insanely subpar service. Usually mobile order, half the time they have their stalls closed so you have to go through drive through. This usually takes upwards of 45 minutes at times. This specific time, the stalls were open, parked, put in the stall number, sat for 15 minutes for my drinks, finally said it was on its way. Waited another 15, and finally pressed the red button to speak to staff. Their C02 machine is down, so they can't fill part of my order, OK, cool, why do I only find this out when I'm sitting outside for 30+ minutes and have to complain about no service to find out. I have other food waiting that's cold now too. I don't understand how this place is still open. This has happened for months.

Wasn't crowded, few empty spaces to pull up and order, no drive thru line. We pull up to a stall, push the button and waited. Never had we waited so long at any other sonic, finally gave up and went to the drive thru only to be told they have no soda (no CO2) after we ordered. Ordered 2 shakes instead, waited. Gave us one correct shake, the other was wrong and had to wait for them to make the right one. Then they had no spoons and offered us a fork to go with our shakes. No thanks, very disappointed.

Took my kids because they requested Sonic. Waited in the drivethru line for 17 minutes behind only one car at the window. Fountain soda was heavily watered down and over-carbonated, riddled with carbonic acid flavor; ended up tossing it. Kids both said their chicken tenders were gross (I tried one and they were soggy straight out of the bag) and refused to eat them, and their fries were heavily oversaturated with oil. My burger with a double patty had only one patty on it yet I was charged for two. MAJOR operational problems with food quality, execution, and service. Staff was polite, I'll give them that. These employees deserve better leadership to provide better guidance and training to lend a better consumer experience. This was atrocious, and Inspire Brands should know this particular franchisee is damaging their reputation.

Please somebody tell me why I sit at the sign 13 mins waiting for someone to take my order as she kept walking past us saying I'll be right with. So when you go to the drive thru at our orders got taken but with the two cars in front of us it still took me 15 more minutes to get 3 drinks ilmbo. I won't be back to sonics unless a lot change. Get you all selfs together. Sad

Waited for a while after paying $22 for the pickle burger meal. Check out the pics. It was so sloppy and disgusting looking I threw it right in the trash. The tots were soggy so they went in the trash, too. The slushy was meh so I tossed that, too. It was a bummer cos I was looking forward to that pickle burger. This was my first and last time at Sonic.

Not the first time I've been disappointed to say the least, coming to this particular sonic. This time was enough for me to warrant a complaint though. I've never seen a sonic DRIVE IN close their stalls. I tried to walk in and was told we couldn't order inside either. This wasn't the first time either at this location..7:30pm I asked why and was and after a long blank stare told that because she "mopped the floors we can't come in." I was trying to understand why they are only allowing to hand us our food in the drive in and no other form of the multiple options there should be. So we order through the app. Get in line for the drive through, where they only had one lane open. After getting our food, there was little ice in my drink, no cheese on my tots. They also weren't the right size. And my daughters shake was poorly made with mostly just being ice cream. So we were over charged and given lack luster food. The employees at this location need proper training in customer service, the brand that is Sonic and just in general how to make food. This location has been bad for years, seems like once they opened. If the owner hopes to keep this business going they need to do something about it. While waiting in the drive thru for my food I was shocked to see all the other bad reviews and know for sure I won't be going back there. I come from a town a fraction of the size of Sacramento. It has six sonics in a town with only four high schools. They are always busy. They never turn away customers, they stay open til 2am, the wait isn't 30 or more minutes and they are thriving. Do better.

Mobile app didn't work at this location so you can't use rewards or get 1/2 happy hour pricing. They will not honor it. The staff is extremely rude and reaching out to corporate wasn't any better. Food was burnt and over cooked. Went around through drive through to try and complain and they could care less. Then I seen how dirty it was in there and didn't even attempt to eat the food. Tried to get a refund through corporate since there wasn't a manager who could refund it on site. They said a manager would reach out a couple times. It's been 3 weeks so I give up. I will just never return. Added a picture of my large size burnt onion rings and how filthy the place was.
