The Sandwitch Spot Sacramento Reviews
1st time visit. Saw their Chicken Caesar Salad as a salad. But I wanted a Chicken Salad Sandwich. I requested that it be done on a Sweet Roll instead of a salad. It was MOUTH-WATERING Delicious. Never had a sandwich with that much enjoyment to eat. I ask that you put it on the menu and call it "The Biz Broker", as it was a business meeting that had me stop by.
We stop by here everything we are in town. Great sandwiches that are not your everyday regular cooks cut sandwich. They use great bread, it doesn't matter which bread you choose, it's good bread. They have unique sauces that are very tasty and make the sandwich extraordinary. The cookies are pretty bomb, too.
Staff has always been amazingly friendly, always happy to help you pick a good sandwich from their large selection. Wish I had found them sooner!
Awesome sandwiches!! Ordered one. It was so good I got another to go.
Love sandwhiches? This is the place to go! The Hornet and the 49er are SO GOOD. The cookies are great here too, especially the peanut butter one. The staff here are very welcoming and friendly! 10/10.
Excellent service, super attentive and accommodating! Tri tip sandwich was absolutely amazing!!
I had the #7 pastrami on a sourdough roll. Wow what a great sandwich. So tasty. Its a big sandwich so I couldn't finish it. I would definitely go there again. $13.
Stumbled upon this gem on a leisurely Sunday stroll. They were busy but so kind. The food was really good! Fresh ingredients and no skimping! I had accidentally left my purse on their patio and when I returned, they had it stored inside and were literally so kind. Support this restaurant! Good food and good people.
Employees were so incredibly friendly. We had never been there and the staff took the time to explain the menu and did not make us feel rushed at all. Very rare these days. Sandwiches were outstanding. Will definitely go back.
This is the go to sandwich place. Fresh rolls, and the Dutch crunch is amazing. No other Sandwich spot stands up to the quality of this one and the people who work here!
The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. I had the BBQ tri-tip and it was one of the best i have ever had. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good sandwich.
I haven't had a sandwich this good in months! Truly amazing taste and staff. My wife had the Sac Bee and she was dancing of how tasty it was. Highly recommended.
Excellent sandwich shop. My sister said 10/10 for her Tri Tip Sandwich. Great service. Cozy atmosphere with lovely natural light. I got the Sutter's Fort. I'm basic and don't like tomatoes or onions. I really enjoyed it, the tang of the Italian dressing was nice. The sourdough bread was fresh and light.
Probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I had Mayor KJ’s Slam Dunk - a combination of turkey, bacon, cheddar, and avocado 🦃🥓🧀🥑 It was magical! I opted for no mustard and I think that worked well. The taste was great - a perfect contrast between the salty meats and sweet cheese / avocado. The sandwich was quite large - two hefty halves of a hearty sourdough bun 🥖 enough to justify giving some of the meat to my fur baby 🐶😋 We’ll be back!
Big fan of these sandos! I haven’t been to any of the other locations, but this one is tucked nicely in Midtown Sacramento. They offer Gluten Free bread, which is why I keep going back! It’s not always consistent when I go though. Sometimes they warm the bread but other times they won’t. They will do it if I ask but it’s not standard practice one way or the other it seems. It also gets very busy at lunch time so the ordering and paying process is a little clunky if you have never been. I could have walked out with my sandwich without paying (I waited a long time to pay after I got my food). But don’t let any of this deter you, the food is awesome!!
We're regulars here, and they never disappoint! Great sandwiches made on home made bread, and then you always have to get one of their fresh baked cookies to go!
I LOVE sandwiches. Could eat them everyday for every meal. This place was delicious and worth stopping by when passing through or visiting Sacramento. Worth the detour. Sandwiches are huge and so good!! This place is busy around lunch so be prepared to wait a bit. Neat place. My family loved their meals and enjoyed the patio dining.
Most amazing sandwiches!! My favorite veg sando of all time. It’s hard to explain how fresh and perfect even the simplest ingredients are, but they add to an incredible sando! The staff are the nicest and will go out of their way to make your sandwich they way you like it best.
Absolutely delighted stopping in here on a recent visit to Sacramento. Nice variety of sandwich options, cool twist with the Dutch crunch bread option, and friendly staff as well.
Saw many of the great reviews of this place and had to try it ourselves. Got the Sac Bee on sourdough and the tri tip as well. Both were made perfectly and tasted amazing, also the staff here are awesome people and were very friendly/helpful. Most definitely one of the top sandwich spots in Sac.
You can’t beat this place. EVERY time I’m in sac I stop in for a #13, capital city classic. Best BLAT on earth, without question. Staff is always welcoming and friendly and move quickly while still attentive to detail.
I just moved to midtown and walk past here everyday. It’s always busy and the building it super cute so gave it a try today. Hands down the best sandwich and potato salad I’ve ever had and the workers are really nice and personable. I got the Sac Bee with bomb sauce.
Picked up Filmore at the Auditorium and went straight to The Sandwich Spot for perhaps the best sandos in Sactown. The ingredients are as fresh as could be and the selections of high quality meats and cheeses are unmatched in the city! ☆☆☆☆☆
always great! super tasty and big sandwiches, plus nice staff. one of my favorite spots.

Best tri-tip sandwich i ever had. Sandwiches are my favorite food and holy s did this deliver! Paige provided great customer service and gave great recommendations. Definitely will recommend this place to my friends!
We picked up a couple sandwiches after church. They were made fresh and fast. I got the Dosky #19 on a wheat roll. It was extremely tasty. Perfect for a chilly fall day. I will def go back to try some more of their signature sandos, like the one my hubby got with turkey and cranberry sauce.
Nice local sandwich shop. Great staff even better sandwiches. The one down side is it doesn't stay open too late. If you got the day off or work in the area stroll on over and enjoy one of 30 different sandwiches.
I was in Sacramento for the weekend for the aftershock festival and this place caught my attention when looking for something to nice to eat. This sandwich spot didn’t disappoint. In fact, it was great. Great costumer service from the guy with long hair and glasses and delicious sandwiches. I got the Sac Bee the two days that I went and it was great. Now every time I go to Sac I’ll make sure to stop by.
As someone who tracks meals closely, I was impressed with how flexible the staff were. They let me swap bread for a whole-grain wrap and offered plenty of fresh veggie add-ons. The chicken pesto sandwich was lean yet packed with flavor. The atmosphere was energetic but clean, giving the whole plae a wholesome vibe that matched my lifestyle.

This place is amazing! 😍The food is incredibly fresh, and the team is friendly and welcoming. If you’re a fan of pastrami, I highly recommend trying the 49er sandwich on the crunchy sourdough roll. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again and again😍😍
We enjoyed eating here. The gentleman helping us was warm and incredibly helpful. They were accommodating to our kids and offered PB&J as well as grilled cheese (both of which are not on the menu). 🥪The sandwiches were good. We ate outside on a beautiful day. It was an enjoyable lunch. ☀️🌳

3 star review because they continuously wiped their ungloved hands on shorts and pants, touched equipment, handles and even HANDLED CASH and never once washed their hands as they proceeded to make my and other sandwichs. I'm just sitting here and they still haven't washed their hands and they're just handing out sandwiches. Gross.
I've been their customer since 2018. Always a delight to get a sandwich here. Dislike the insane price hikes though!

The sandwich was tasty and filling, and was ready in about 5 minutes. However, the "slice" of cheese, which costs extra, was just crumbles of sliced cheese, and not very much at that. There is some sort of weird techno music playing, and much too loud for a sandwich shop. You can't have a conversation with your lunch. So not bad, but not so great as to make it a place that you would want to come back to. It could easily be much better.

Normally great, but I guess I don't get to order if the people in front of me are undecided.
Waited in line for a good while then waited longer and in the process of waiting saw the handling of food behind the counter... no gloves, then the lady went to the back and was literally ALL UP IN HER NOSE... SO GROSS, we were a party of 5 and walked out before ordering.
