Casa Sorrento Pizzeria Salinas Reviews
This is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving great spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce has a rich, homemade flavor and the portions are always satisfying. It’s consistently good, which keeps me coming back. They also offer weekday lunch specials, making it an easy and affordable option if you’re in downtown Salinas. The atmosphere is comfortable, service is friendly, and the food comes out quickly. A reliable place for a casual meal whether you’re meeting someone for lunch or just want a solid Italian favorite.
Julian keep this place going. 2 Full bars, Meatballs are superb, they play Hi-NRG music. The only place that feels like back home on the Beast Coast. They hold it down for the Best Coast. Try the meatballs. To-Go is in Aluminum
Best pizza in town. Can never go wrong with lasagna here either. Great beer selection compared to other places. Great customer focus love Mariah and Holly they make you feel welcome.
Awesome food! Spacious place to have a nice family lunch.
Best Chicken Parmesan and Pizza in Salinas. Highly Recommend.

5/5 stars incredible pizza with perfect crust and fresh toppings. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, Must try great value for money highly recommended for all pizza lovers.
Excellent pizza and pasta in the heart of downtown Salinas with great service and variety of food and beverage choices. Live music can be heard on some nights and the venue is spacious with nice comfortable seats and dining ambiance. Casa Sorrento is walking distance to all of old town Salinas.
Nice place. I believe family owned and operated. Atmosphere is upbeat and respectful. Food is so good. My favorite pizza, absolutely. Full bar with daily drink specials. Eat in or carry out available. You should try it, and then you'll know for yourself?? How completely good, fresh and the best pizza ever....So go.

This is a really good place to have a good pizza and cold and fresh drinks. Perfect for big groups of people since they have big tables.

I had the lasagna and my wife had the calamari steak. She got two large pieces. Our meals were absolutely delicious. And the service was fantastic. This was our first time here. We will definitely be back.
Great food, decent happy hour specials. Entrees are a lil pricey but large portions so it's worth it. About 17-24 bucks depending on what you order. The pizza, chicken Parm, and Alfredo pasta with chicken is yummy. Cool vibe, depends on the day but can be a bit noisy in the evenings. Overall good food if you like pizza or Italian. My hubby loves their sandwiches. Limited parking in front.
Real ingredients combined with well made Italian food. The photo is of the small Garlic Chicken. I also got the Hot Salami sandwich. I got the order to-go and the staff was very friendly.
Great pizza but I would have liked it more if I had thought to order a thin crust. Had soup and salad too, both good.

Had blackened chicken pasta. Good, only sauce was brown maybe from the chicken being blackened? Lots of butter though. Tasty but seemed like a crazy amount of butter in sauce.y 2 yr old had a kids pizza. Very good. Fresh. After husband and I got our food we tried the kids pizza n immediately regretted not getting a whole pizza. Great service. Server was sweet very kind to my son:)

I’m a big fan of Casa Sorrento. But today, I was disappointed. We had to order out instead of eating in because a family member is sick and it was easier to stay in. Three of us ordered the lasagna which is usually so good. Today, when we uncovered it, the top layer of cheese was burnt. And not just a little. A lot! The birthday girl was beyond disappointed. The top layer had to be removed. What is usually cheesy was instead dry and burnt to a crisp. So disappointed that they actually served this burnt lasagna. And if any comment is made about taking it back—well it was for a birthday dinner and it wasn’t possible.

Absolutely the most disgusting Pizza pasta combination I've ever had. Pizza was okay the pasta was absolutely disgusting. I made a point to ask the server if it came from a box and showed her some powder residue, literally no comment just said okay and turn around and walked away.
1st time ever to visit. Dined during happy hour. Just myself. Not very busy. Food was great but service eh not so much. Got sat right away but took awhile to order. Waitress never checked back in to ask how was everything or if I needed anything. Asked other Waitress for my check.

I was really looking forward to this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet expectations. My friend’s pasta arrived quickly, but I ended up waiting way too long for my pizza, which was disappointing. To be honest, the pizza itself wasn’t that great — definitely not worth the wait. That being said, the service was amazing — the staff was friendly and attentive, which was the highlight of the experience. Hopefully, they can work on the timing and food quality.
I came to this establishment with my son. We ordered fries & wings as an appetizer , they were fine. For our main I had the chicken piccata & he ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken piccata was not good. The sauce was runny and simply not good. Chicken was chewy. There were no artichokes as stated on the menu. The worst was my son’s fettuccini Alfredo, there was a horrible taste that he took no more than one bite. I tried it and it was such a gross taste I cannot even describe how horribly it tasted. The server didn’t notice we didn’t even touch our plates , she checked on us one time and did not provide napkins then brought us boxes w the check. My son was too shy to say anything and asked me not to return the food. But this was a bad experience and not worth my money spent. Please do better, someone might get sick.
ON JUNE 4th, 2022, around 7:30pm, I spent $92. Dollars at this restaurant… I got the ALL MEAT Large pizza for $35… Below Average at best!!! Next I got the BELOW AVERAGE Garlic fries.. 😤😤, After that the absolutely worst chicken Parmesan, literally tasted like 4th Grade cafeteria food!!!!!!! Honestly it was some of the WORST “food” I’ve ever TASTED!!! The chicken tasted like over cooked pigeon, The sauce tasted like Safeway’s deli section!!

Took forever for our food to arrive, then the waitress did not check on us once. Then we still left a five dollar cash tip. Only for her to charge the tip on the card and not accept the cash. Hence, double tipping herself so we took our cash back. The pasta was not the best. Would’ve given the rating 0 but can’t. I never make reviews but they were an exception.
