This is a place I came across on accident cause Rebar was dead that night lol. It's always exciting on the weekends. The dj has a great mix of new and classic hip hop. They have both inside and outside bars and seating but get their early cause the place fills up. Due to it being busy the lines can be long to get a drink though. They also have a pool table in the back if you want to get a game in. The bathrooms weren't that great but at least their weren't long lines to get to them. Been back several times already.

My friends and I went to see Kyle Turner live at Bentley's Bar and it was nice! The sounds of good jazz music, tasty alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and those delicious food trucks on-site were all hits. Furthermore, the presence of armed security and parking guards made it feel much safer. So, if you are looking for somewhere to go have drinks, meet up or just chill then this is the place to visit. Highly recommend!

Steak dinner on Wednesday is the best $20 I've spent all year! Atmosphere is laid back staff and patrons are friendly! Great place! Swings at the bar instead of barstools is super cool

We were visiting from out of town and looked for a place that served crawfish. We got there about 12:30 and the crawfish weren't going to be ready until 3:00, so couldn't stay that long. We just sat in the swings and had a beer. The bartender was so friendly. I could tell this would be a fun place that I would like. The atmosphere was great!

Our bartender Jeyonce was extremely hospitable and welcoming. Great service from everybody. The DJ was personable with great taste in music. The venue itself is awesome though a complementary jukebox or something similar would be perfect.

Update 2025: BRING THAT OLD THANG BACK😭😭😭 I'm gonna try this one more time because third time's a charm right.....it's not giving anymore for me but I'm staying optimistic I always have a good time at Bentley's no matter of I'm out for clubbing, live music or doing the very fun Trapp Bingo or just popping up to get something from the food trucks on site. Love the environment, the vibe and the variety of things it offers including an inside and outside...the bari's nice they even have swings drinks or hot and miss depending on bartender but heyyy. Only downside to me is it's literally not enough parking it be too lit

I was here April 2022 for the Errol Spence fight. People were really friendly. This experience made me fall in love with SA and considering moving there. I tell my friends in Indiana if they ever going to San Antonio stop here. This place is the spot. Can't wait to get back

Amazing experience on fight night! It was a breezy evening with one of my best friends from college. The drinks were adequate as well as the price. The staff was efficient & courteous. There were several screens throughout the venue to watch a plethora of sporting events happening that night.

All you can eat crawfish for $15. Very, very spicy though. And I like hot.

Been here a couple of times. If you’re looking for a spot with majority melanated folks then this is the place in San Antonio to be. Drinks are great. Music is nice. BUT THEM FOOD TRUCKS OUTSIDE THOUGH! Yum!!!! Amazing!!!! They also have hookah which can be a hit or miss. Overall always a good time when I’m here.

Visited from DC and heard there was nothing really popping in San Antonio. Was in the Uber headed to another club when the driver suggested this spot. Man was he right the DJ was on fire playing current and past hip hop jams with Bachata as well. It’s a Latino crowd but even as a black dude I felt welcome and had a blast. The drinks were cheaper than most bars for top shelf and the hookah was 40 but lasted the whole night. There was also plenty of seating but me an my co workers stayed on the dance floor with the ppl. We doubled back Saturday night and had even more fun. If you want an authentic party experience without everyone being uptight I suggest you try this spot out.

Bentley‘s on Broadway is the number one spot for OG vibes and good times I thoroughly enjoy hosting live band hip-hop and R&B karaoke every Thursday and Sunday night the crowd is great and they give away $50 at the bar just for coming out and singing, bring all of your friends and the louder that they cheer the closer you have a chance of winning I would recommend checking them out for the live music and at home backyard party atmosphere!!!

This bar has improved. Exterior and interior looks very classy. Tuesday nights they poetry night (puro slam) hosted by tomas and i recommend those who seek something to do on Tuesdays. They do have their outdoor bar open as well with the swings. Over all, nice bar.

The last time I saw so many beautiful black people was at Taste of NOLA some years ago. I am not a Bar person but Bentley's has changed my outlook cause it's more than a bar....it was an experience. Thanks to Wade and that beautiful mixologist (I should have asked her name, but you can't miss her..she's in the inside with long brown hair). I enjoyed myself. The atmosphere was welcoming and I felt safe, the parking was free however I may have parked at another restaurant on the right side of the building. Police or security checked ID at the front.. I definitely give them a 10/10. Did I mentioned the beautiful black people 🤔

Cool😎 happy hour place for some grownup music drinks food and laughter... about 830p starts to shift to a younger group👀 for me that's my signal ...time to take my AZ home...only gave 4 stars because of the band inside sound like Karaoke...the happy hour DJ was great if you like old school up to the 90s needless to say I stayed outside with the fan blowing on me.

I went on a saturday and it was paaaaaaacked! It was my first time and I was not disappointed. There's three bars, two outside and one inside. As with most bars, you are gonna wait a little moment for a drink but the bartenders are friendly and will have a whole conversation while whilping up drinks! Outside was the lit party going on playing a mixture of new music with some classics, esp music from the SOUTH, inside was a little more relaxed and chilled, Mostly RnB was going on, idk if it was karaoke or just a live singer but it was good. The security was on point, if there was ever really a problem it was handled quickly and pushed outside away from majority of the crowd as to not interrupt the night. Would definitely go back!

Pros: Reasonably priced drinks, food trucks available, hookah was on point, great dj on the patio, live music on the inside, great vibes. There was an incident where a man took someone’s seat. When the person returned they were upset and drinks were thrown. My drinks and hookah were smashed in the process. The man was quickly escorted out and management replaced my drinks and hookah. I was happy with that. Cons: limited parking, limited seating for live music.

I have been twice now and it is a nice bar! First time was a great experience, second time they were hosting a memorial or were having one and me and my friends just didn’t feel comfortable staying 😂. But overall it is a very nice bar and will return again!

So I came here specifically for the UFC fight. It was great place to watch the fight and the service was pretty good considering how busy they was. I initially got wings and fries to eat. The wings was just okay and the fries was horrible. The fries are shoe string cut but the problem was they was severely overcooked. There was no fluffiness in the fries. They was just dry and hard. Considering how close this place was to my home and them being a amazing place to watch the UFC ppv I really wanted to find something that I liked. So I ordered some of the Mac and cheese, and boy was I happy that I did. The Mac and cheese was amazing. I know next time to get the Mac and cheese from the start.

Atmosphere - Hip Hop, Trap, & R&B music. This place also has a stage for a live band inside for the more mature crowd. Most of the crowd will be outdoors on the patio, so plan accordingly with the weather. Food for what I see is the food truck parked out front. The food is good here. I've only had the fried catfish but heard about other good items. Service - Drinks are fairly priced, and the bartenders are very attentive when you walk up. Hookah is also here.

Cool bar with outdoor area and crawfish on Sundays during season. Cigar friendly patio. Wasn't a big fan of the bar tending staff. Both bar tenders I went to would no allow me to start a tab and they were more worried about shift change then pleasing the customer. Overall I would come back and chill.

The DJ who was there at about 730 was awesome. I ordered sprite from the bar and it tasted nothing like sprite, it was the 'soda' they add to drinks. We sat outside and all of the fans weren't working. Service was great.

Went when it was pretty cool outside and they do provide heaters at the outside bar on the swing side of the bar. Since it was windy you could barely get some of its heat but it was still appreciated. I haven't been able to get there in time to try their food so I can't rate them on that but there is a food truck near by and they do allow the food to be eaten at the bar. Outside atmosphere is pretty chill and comfortable and is what keeps me going back. The inside feels like a typical club but this place provides A LOT of seating.

Nice little atmosphere not crowded drinks on point definitely one of my spots. Up until about 1:00 a.m. I was typically enjoying myself wanted to make one birthday request and was not aware that as a customer I was not allowed to do so I asked the DJ that was DJing this evening if I could and he didn't even respond verbally he just shook his head real Ruby I don't know I'm a loyal customer and I've been coming here for months but that type of attitude I'm afraid to say I might consider not returning

Had lots of fun & the Ambience was good as well! Salud was next door so 2 in one shot was Fun! Will be back.

They had a crayfish boil outside the night we were there. 2 pool tables in the back, a set up for live music, inside and outside seating. The bartender Arlington was fabulous, made great drinks. Inside seating a little odd. There are also outside picnic tables. Music got painfully loud as the night progressed.

There was a mix of people and music. The drinks were nice and the prices are decent. They are working on building their kitchen, which will be a nice addition. It was pretty average for a bar/club.

It was a mixed crowd, young and old. Music was similar, old school mixed with newer music. The juices they gave us in our section tasted funny. Cranberry nor pineapple tasted right. There were a few random fights that night too 😒

It's ok. I hadn't been in years and my first time back they had to shut the bar down early a little after 2AM because a guy brought a gun inside, but they found him and apprehended him. They still shut the bar down for the rest of the night for everyone's safety and I really appreciated that.

This place was paccckkkeddd on a Saturday Great place if you are looking for a booming atmosphere. If you're seek something chill, a Saturday night may not be best for you. Drinks were A1 and so was the music. 3 out of 5, would recommend.

Man this place is popping but there was hundreds of people and only four were dancing like I don't get it and the DJ was playing a playlist and not actually DJing. San Antonio has no fun dance environments besides one place and I'm not going to cut the knife deeper but it's on the NW side of town. The MC should've gotten everyone to the dance floor but he was just talkkkkiiinnngggg.

This bar/club has great live music, versitile DJs and many area to hang out for a drink or Jenga. It is overcrowded and needs a makeover. Male bartenders make you wait until after they service their regulars or friends, or they just ignore you. I tip generously, too. The bathrooms are nasty and rarely stocked with toilet paper.

Ok bar filled with quite a bit of “ thirsty” people. Good place to hang out. Good dance music but no where to dance. They have hookahs available. 150 for VIP room seems crazy. Didn’t have anything that was VIP worthy other than it was inside.

Really nice place liked it before the upgrade as well. Why I gave 3 stars drinks were better before. Really watered down. Got shot of tequila did not have taste of tequila at all. Please work on that. Good music though

Live band great food trucks. Of note you can really get a great meal from A food truck that serves steak and shrimp and oxtails. They also have sides of greens and macaroni. I caution the greens are salty but perfect.

They no longer have the outside bar and swings with the TVs. That was the main attraction but other than that the live music side is cool. They have one or two food trucks available outside.

They gutted the outside so now it is a pretty boring place to go to. No more outside bars, cool swing chairs and turf grass lawn. Very disappointing. We had been waiting for a while for it to reopen or for it to reopen with less than what they had before.

Food was alright, drinks were ok, but 25 and older for men and 23 and older for females, really !?!! There is no sign posted online that says this either. They didn’t let my friend In that turns 25 next week. I would come back but knowing the age restrictions I’d rather go somewhere else.

Bartenders were nice but don't book a venue with them. They will try to take your reservations early cuz they want to double dip (or whatever excuse they come up aith on the spot), the DJ will refuse to play anything you want to hear (at your own reservation) and they won't let you bring your own garnish to add to your drinks (like the edible drink glitter to make your drink look like a sparkley potion) and just ruin your whole event. Thank goodness there were better bars in walking distance to save the evening!

Nice place, security was awesome and nice, music was good, but the bartenders......weren't attentive at all. Some ppl across us were watching the Dodgers and they changed all the tvs for someone else who came after. They asked the bartender to change at least their TV to the game and she acted like it was the end of the world for her. We sat and watched that whole game and got asked if we needed a beer only twice. They sure as hell attended their friends though and made sure of it. I'll try it one more time and if it's different I'll change my review. We just asked for our check and left. Rather go across the street to the Hangar

It would have been five stars, the outside bartender was amazing. I tipped her every time but the inside bartender was rude and disrespectful. I went inside for my last order, waited behind two large groups, as I seen others run around them and get their drinks before me. She asked who’s next I said me and requested my order. She ignored me and proceeded to fill others orders before mine. Then asked what I wanted and called me rude for my response. Gave me two unopened beverages and threw my receipt for closure. I took it very personally and will never go to her again for that treatment.

As visitors from Fort Worth, we checked out Bentley Bar based on local recommendations. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. Parking was a challenge, and the venue itself feels like it hasn’t been updated since the 1980s. If you’re looking for a more refined atmosphere, this may not be the best fit. However, it might appeal to those who enjoy a more tacky, down troden bar scene.

0 STARS. This place was completely underwhelming. I was very excited to try crawfish Sunday here but left very disappointed. The bartenders were unhelpful and rude as if servicing us was an inconvenience for them. After purchasing a $20 wrist band for "All you can eat" crawfish (which is the only deal they have for crawfish) I quickly found out that all I could eat was 1. The food was terribly over seasoned and inedible. Please save your money or throw your $20 out the window, you might feel better than wasting it on this tease.

Club is trash. Drove all the way from Austin to come to this place. Clubs in Texas are 21+ on age, this club is 25, and up. I’m 24. That should be listed somewhere from the club owner. It is what it is. Before you pay for parking please know that this club is 25 and older. Lol. Or in other words this club is trash.

No craft beer the flight of margaritas was expensive and food (brisket) was more grease and fat hardly no meat. Oh make sure check your bill I got charge for four teas that I didn’t even order. Got charge over $20 more. I would not return to this place.

Awful drinks! The bartender gave us the wrong beer for our michelada and when we let her know she just said “sorry i got the beers mixed up because they’re right next to each other” she didn't even gave us the right beer back!!! My husband ordered a vodka tonic and was so terrible he didn’t even drink it. Also, the music outside was incredibly loud at 5 pm. We couldn’t even talk. The music from the bar next door was also loud so you couldn't even distinguished what you were listening to. Never going back there! We usually go to the hanger but we wanted to try something new... bad idea.

It's not my first time at Bentley's and usually I have a great time. I work in hospitality so I always take care of my bartenders and servers. I don't know what shifted this weekend but our bartender Frank totally ignored our order various times although we were sitting at the bar. When we decided to move to another side of the bar he told us seats were taken and then allowed another couple who had just walked in sit down. We returned to the side next to him and had to proceed to make a line to place our drink orders, but he would take the orders of the females next to us without an issue, even left his post to go get there order. First time customer service was this bad.

Atmosphere last night was ok, had potential to be better with a crowd. Adult swings were really nice. Cool setup inside and out. Great drink specials, $1 wings. We all ordered Blue Hawaiian drinks that were a very sweet koolaid. All 3 were left at the table. Did not try the wings because the drinks were so bad. Extremely disappointed with drinks, music was great vibe.

Man, I’m typically big on black-owned businesses so I’m sad to have to give a bad review. Went here on a Sunday with a few friends. It was my first time visiting this place. I don’t go out often so I was looking forward to it. The bartenders Anthony and Ashley were great, they made some great drinks as well. The owner, who did not introduce himself, very aggressively approached my friends and I telling us not to sit in the opposite direction of the bar because our feet were resting on a bench. He did not like how we were sitting. We tried to move the bench a bit so that there would not be an issue. He came back, yelling at us telling us to face the bar instead. I’ve never had any altercations in my life, ever, as I am not a confrontational person. So to be treated that way, especially by a person who I later found out was the owner was very disheartening. While yelling at us, three WOMEN who were still sitting and not being confrontational, The owner grabbed his security and another large gentleman. THREE large men, after I tried to calmly tell him not to yell and explain to him what was happening. He did not let me speak at all. I did not even want to speak anymore due to the aggressive demeanor of all three of these men. I’ve NEVER had an experience like that before. Please, if you are going to run an establishment, work on your communication skills. I’m sure there is a lot of riff raff that visits this place based on the location, but some of your patrons are just WOMEN who do not get out much looking to hear some good music and have a great time. Very unfortunate. I still paid my tab though.

Bartender tried to steal from me. She sneakingly added her friend and the woman friends drinks onto my tab. Then even after i left. She Still …..attempted to steal from me. I got a notification from the bank saying they cancelled all the transactions for suspicious activities. Thank God. This was due to her trying to “triple” charge me because she thought she could get away with it. The bartenders sneakingly charge you up so they can steal money from the drawer. It also balances from giving free drinks out throughout the night. Imagine if you were in my shoes, I simply just wanted a drink for the night.

This place is ghetto. They don’t always search at the door which is why they have shootings. Security sells weed inside. and they let staff kick people out because they used to date them. Bartenders underserve and are rude. Prices don’t match up. I buy one drink and then go back order same drink and it’s a different price…..

So this place had my boyfriend beat up by multiple people when I csllled they acted as the owner but didn’t do nothing I will be sewing all involved as the cameras will have proof this place needs to be shut down

I went to have fun night which it was done. I left 20 dollar tip for the bartender which was fair since it was only two drinks. When i check there was a additional charge of 50 dollars for a tip. I reached out to management and they could not help me at all. This bartender gave her self a 70 dollar tip for two drinks. I reported this at the bar and they have not refunded me back for this at all. So watch out for this scam they are doing.

called this place 2 weekends in a row to see if they were serving crawfish as it’s advertised on many platforms and their 2nd location tell ppl that they are . whoever is answering just can’t be the GM or any higher up.no way. i actually refuse to believe that any higher up answering the phone to a restaurant with “hello” just can’t be serious. twice i’ve called to see if they had crawfish and this same guy answers “hello” oh and then i called again yesterday and no one answered but i get a call back a second later and i answer and the person on the other line goes “yea you just called here” … really. that’s enough to never ever give my money to this establishment. get some damn decorum. sheesh . it ain’t hard
