Cappyccino's San Antonio Reviews
Such a great place to eat and enjoy yourself at! The outside area was nice (& luckily not a brutal Texas day). The customer service was exceptional. Always made sure our glasses were filled and was very accommodating to any changes or requests we wanted. The veggie burger was outstanding! Tastes just like a burger. The Caesar salad was also very nice. Crisp lettuce, tangy dressing 10/10. The pretzel was huge & great as well. The sauces had some nice sweetness and spice to them. Overall it was a great find and hopefully we’ll be back sometime soon! Thank yall.
Food was incredible. Their white bean soup and a half sandwich (i picked turkey and cranberry) was delicious. And their carrot hummus with pita and veggies was a great appetizer for lunch. I recommend going on a weekday because it was still busy but we didn't have to wait. And our server was super friendly, the food came out fast (thank you kitchen staff) and overall the atmosphere and vibe in here is quiet and comfortable.
Casual vibe with delicious food and friendly service. I ordered the Turkey Cobb with a side salad and my fiance ordered the Fun Guy Burger with a side salad as well. Great tasting meal and decided the Warm Chocolate with Vanilla bean ice cream...amazing!
Ordered the cheeseburger (thick Angus burger patty) which was absolutely delicious! Dessert was warm chocolate cake topped with pecans with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. Perfect. Everything, including the service, was fantastic. Will visit again soon!
Delicious appetizers to share with drinks and creative casual eats. Fun Guy was a great take on the mushroom burger. I took my burger with a salad, which I do not regret. Discovering the house chips will require a future visit. The crab rangoon dip is a perfectly portioned shareable, unless you're craving a great cream cheese dish.
Went there to celebrate my birthday. Was impressed with the quality of food. We ordered crab rangoon & Buratta appetizers. They were both a hit. We were a party of 4, and our waitress who was pregnant was so great. Very friendly and helpful with suggestions since this was our first time there. Would definitely recommend this place.
From mixed drinks to various sandwiches, everything was very tasty. Don't sleep on the fresh chips as they are awesome. Friendly staff, very knowledgeable.
Once again, excellent service, food & drinks here. Great choice of eclectic sandwiches, salads. We love the potato salad, made with red potatoes, super chunky creamy & savory. The lunch special Chicken Brie sandwich was fabulous--please, please add that to the permanent menu! Rueben was made extra special with a crunchy cabbage rather than soggy sauerkraut We'll be back often as there's so much more to try.
I stumbled on this bistro by mistake but I have no regrets. I was greeted with a smile immediately and told I can choose my own seat. Shortly after Elisa, my waitress approached and gave me suggestions on drinks, which I chose the made in house ginger ale (absolutely wonderful so refreshing). When it came to ordering my meal I let the staff surprise me. I ended up with the Reuben sandwich and pozole soup lunch special. Again an excellent choice. For dessert I was given the sticky toffee cake with ice cream.... Delicious! Overall my experience was amazing. Will definitely visit again.
My daughter chose this place randomly. It was well worth it. We sat at the bar and ordered. Our bartender/waiter Luigi has the best customer service I've seen in years. He explained the menu to us, since it was our first time. He was extremely patient. He came asked us repeatedly if we needed anything and what could he do for us. I am grateful for his service. The food was delicious! My daughter ordered the chicken banh sandwich, she devoured it. The place is beautiful and fancy. I would recommend this place 10 out of 10.
I had such a great experience at Cappyccino’s. We started with the Burrata, which came with heirloom tomatoes, pita-style chips, pesto, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze. Everything tasted incredibly fresh — the tomatoes were juicy, the pesto had a perfect little zing to it, and all the flavors and textures together were just amazing. We also ordered the Angus burger with chips, and wow — the meat was cooked perfectly, super juicy, and full of flavor. The bun was fresh, and everything about that burger hit the spot. I tried the Reuben sandwich next, which came on a hearty rye bread with a house salad. I did have to take a couple bites while in the car! The sandwich was thick, flavorful, and so filling that I could only finish half! Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. For dessert, we went with the vanilla bean pudding, and oh my goodness — it was to die for. The vanilla flavor was pure and rich, the texture was thick and creamy, and the caramel sauce on top tied it all together beautifully. I even tried heating it up just out of curiosity, but it’s definitely best served cold and shareable (perfect for 2–3 people). Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I’ll definitely be coming back!
My husband, son, and I walked in during the dinner rush but were able to be quickly seated and had great service. We also tried the Blueberry mezcal margarita and the grapefruit mezcal chispa. They were so good. On top of that, the food was delicious. We tried the classic cheeseburger and the antelope burger. We will definitely be revisiting this place very soon!
This is our favorite spot to grab Nachos. They are so delicious and on the healthy side, made with fresh pico de gallo, white beans, chicken, guacamole and mozzarella cheese and jalapeños. We also like their Pozole Verde and the burgers. There is also a vegetarian option and great desserts too. It's a nice relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. We have been coming here for over 10 years. Definitely a good place to meet with friends and family.
Had a lovely dinner here. Highly recommend the crab wonton dip as a starter. The quesadilla is super hearty and packed with flavor! My husband enjoyed the Margherita flat bread as well. Food is priced very reasonably for the quality. Looking forward to returning in the future!
This review is long overdue! My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I visited Cappyccino’s over Memorial Day weekend. I live in a city of about 25,000 people, Cappyccino’s is a perfect example of why I like to visit bigger cities, especially for the good!! The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and eclectic. Every single team member we came in contact with was kind and friendly! I remember our server engaging with us in conversation, and it was just a wonderful conversation. We really appreciated his intentionality with us! We ordered the pretzel as an appetizer - the chili pequin jam was to die for! I ordered the combo with a cup of white bean chili and a half cranberry turkey. I loved the cranberry citrus relish. We had an overall positive experience! Our server had shared that Cappyccino’s has other sister restaurants around the city. If we had more time, we definitely would have visited them! Thank you, Cappyccino’s!!
Me and my wife came to this establishment by accident! We were supposed to go to Cappy's next door but didn't pay attention and walked on in Cappuccino,s. Really glad we did because the atmosphere, food and drinks are on point! The chef prepares the food with love which transpires to great tasting food! Definitely a new spot on our list and will most definitely come back.
Super cute interior, very indie chic! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and helpful when it came down to deciding what to order. Plus they make their chips in-house and the spinach artichoke was 10 out of 10! I definitely recommend checking this place out.
Great little casual eatery on Broadway. Friendly atmosphere with a unique menu. They don't just have coffee here! I ordered a Turkey Cobb sandwich, salad and potato chips as a lunch combo. We also ordered the Korean tacos. Both were awesome. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Even the potato chips felt artisan, with a light lime/lemon salt dusted on top. I will definitely be back soon!
Lots of parking. Sign over windows but not on door. Separate restaurant with different menu on outside terrace - same owner. Plenty of staff. Order taken quickly. Food slow to arrive. Difficult acoustics. Loud - even only half full. Hard wooden benches - but surprisingly comfortable
I normally give everything I eat at this place a five star but today I was severely underwhelmed. My house salad was supposed to be with ranch but their version they added themselves to the salad was just weak, watery and bland and not creamy and it just made the greens soggy. Zero buttermilk flavor. I'd rather have the greens naked then with whatever they put on it. The Pozole was sooooo disappointing. At first it wasn't warm enough and when I got it back it was better. But the preparation is extremely unauthentic. Its faux white man version. The pork was extremely tough and chewy and cooked in cubes instead of being so tender that it shreds. The thick brownish gray "broth" was very Bland and there was no flavor of seasonings, I couldn't taste any garlic, no cumin, no oregano, no green chilies. It even needed salt. Had to ask for Chula for some flavor Seriously, If you want authentic pozole go to your local Taqueria. Hard pass here.
