This was a good place to come and have fun. The wings were ok ( Good for most people) I'm a wing snob, The wings fry in grease and dry rub or wet sauce get put on them. Because I make GOOD wings and do not cook them that way, and they end up with MUCH more flavor, I do critique wings a lot harder. HOWEVER although it is a bit pricey, it is a place that I will visit from time to time. Oh!!!! Appetizers were the best part! Wings were tough and dry. No sauce game lol. I’m usually not disappointed by pluckers but today I was! Service was good, sat quickly! Took a while for our food and drinks, it was around 3. I’ll be back but hopefully it’s a better experience!

Went mid afternoon after the lunch rush so they weren't busy. The food was fantastic but it took forever, as did our server. It's fried food, but it took well over 20 minutes for the food to arrive (some wings, tenders, and tater tots). At least it arrived hot and tasty. They certainly don't skimp on the size of the wings or tenders either. Our server however, had to be flagged down for everything. You'd think that at the very least if you're serving folks some spicy food you'd check on their drink refills but no. She also offered nothing beyond a box for to go foods, she had to be asked for to-go cups and just watched us try and situate a sauce container without offering a lid. Good times.

Pluckers is honestly one of my favorite places to go, which is why this experience was pretty disappointing. My girlfriend and I arrived around 10:30 PM knowing they close at 12, so we understood it was late and didn’t expect everything to be perfect. Our appetizers came out quickly and were actually really good. But when we ordered our main food around 10:45, it ended up taking almost an hour. We didn’t receive our food until around midnight. I ordered the Gut Grenade and unfortunately the patty was very dry. The buns weren’t toasted and felt like cold grocery store buns straight out of a bag. My loaded fries barely had any fries on the plate and the few that were there were burnt. We didn’t plan on staying until closing, but the food took so long to come out that we didn’t really have a choice. There were also a few other tables around us that seemed to be dealing with similar wait times. While we were still eating, staff started sweeping the floors using flashlights and they were repeatedly shining them toward our table and into my girlfriend’s eyes while we were trying to finish our food. I do want to say our server was very nice, and I didn’t want to make things harder for him by sending food back that late. But it was disappointing to end up spending about $50 on food we didn’t really enjoy. I’ve had many great experiences at Pluckers before, which is why this one stood out. I’m hoping it was just an off night because I’d still love to keep coming back.

1st time visiting a Pluckers location. Let me start off by saying the food was good. However the overall dinning experience was terrible. We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival, but waited about 10-15 minutes for anyone to approach our table. I can understand waiting if the place was busy but this was not the case. It was 930 PM and the place was fairly empty besides the bar. 2 bartenders, 5 servers, a host, a busser, and a manager were all seen around the establishment. Once we were attended our server lacked in customer service. She was going through the motions but you could clearly tell she doesn't take pride in her role on the Pluckers team. I spent most of the night scanning the restaurant trying to make sense of why service was lacking. I noticed that our server had tables in the bar area(where we were seated) and also the dinning area resulting in her disappearing throughout the dinner. Management should spilt servers by area so they can better attend their sections. Drinks were brought to our table by another server, the beer I ordered was delivered to the wrong table by a 3rd server, then brought to me after moments of confusion among the staff. All these problems came be addressed if the same server was to be responsible for their section. Just like I mentioned before, the food was good and I can see great potential in the franchise. I will probably try this place again, but my only concern is if the service was this bad on a slow night, what can I expect on a busy night? This location definitely needs a training re-evaluation for the team members or possibly a change in management.

Went last night to redeem a 5 wing freebie: good flavor on the wings even though it was 4 drums and 1 flat. Overall the food was mediocre. Nothing was hot, I even sent the fries back (normally woulda just let it be) to get fresh ones bc the first set was so cold. Second set was just luke warm, as were the wings. I sat at the bar and only got 1 drink bc the bartenders seemed preoccupied with everything else. Until the guy next to me sat down, his service was quick and attentive. Maybe just an off time on a Tuesday.

The service during our recent visit to this location was disappointing. We waited a long time before anyone came to our table. I even had to go ask for a server. The food came out in a reasonable time, but the wings were cold, and it took 20 more minutes for the fries (which were supposed to come with the meal) to arrive. Beer orders took forever, and when they finally came, the beer wasn’t even cold. Our server barely checked on us, and at times it felt like we were completely forgotten. For an established restaurant, these kinds of basic issues shouldn’t be happening. We won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other wing spots that get both the food and the service right.

They lie about waiting time, they say the app yelp is not accurate when it gives you the time frame to be seated.

Prior to celebrating my daughter’s 17th birthday, I checked your app specifically to join a waitlist, as this is her favorite restaurant. The app clearly showed no waitlist available. To confirm, I also called the Alamo Ranch location and was explicitly told there was no wait. Upon arrival, however, we were informed the wait time was over an hour, directly contradicting both the app and the information provided by staff. We then drove to the Landmark location, again under the impression that there was no wait. After arriving to check in a party of eight, we were told there would be another hour-long wait. This resulted in more than an hour and a half wasted driving between locations, based entirely on inaccurate and misleading information. This experience was unacceptable, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years, and I have never encountered this level of incompetence, especially during what was meant to be a meaningful celebration for my daughter. Instead, the evening was ruined due to misinformation and poor communication at both locations. If your app cannot accurately reflect wait times or waitlist availability, it should not be relied upon at all. Either restore the ability to book through Yelp or immediately fix the functionality of your application. The current system is misleading customers and wasting their time. This experience left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. I will be sharing this incident publicly to reflect the unprofessionalism and poor customer service we received unless corrective action is taken. At a minimum, this issue deserves acknowledgment and a clear explanation of how it will be addressed moving forward.

My boyfriend and I visited Pluckers for the first time, and unfortunately it was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I’ve never had food so bad that I genuinely felt it wasn’t worth paying for. I wanted to speak with a manager, but my boyfriend was so disappointed that he just wanted to leave. We ended up leaving most of our food untouched and spent much of the meal trying to figure out how to handle the situation. The mac and cheese sticks tasted frozen and had absolutely no flavor, which was especially disappointing since we both love mac and cheese. The wings were even worse—plastic-like texture, and both the sauces and rubs tasted unpleasant. The chicken itself didn’t taste good at all. We also ordered fries, which were completely bland. Overall, this was hands down the worst food experience I’ve ever had. We won’t be returning and would recommend anyone who actually enjoys chicken wings to dine elsewhere. If you want an enjoyable date night and don’t want to walk out saying it was the worst date experience ever, I’d strongly suggest avoiding this place. The only positive part of our visit was the service. Our waiter was attentive and did a great job. While it’s nice that employees seem happy working there, having customer parties displayed on the TV screens felt unnecessary—not something we want to watch while eating.

Welcome to Stupid Land Pluckers Is the Main Attraction Let’s take a little trip together. I’ll be your tour guide. Our destination? Pluckers. You’re probably wondering how a place with decent wings and a lively bar earns a one-star review. Easy. Pull up a stool. The food? Fine. Wings are wings. The bar? Jumping usually a good sign. The vibe? Right up until the rules became… selectively enforced. Enter the bartender, proudly wearing a freshly minted trainer tag you know, the kind that comes with just enough authority to confuse policy with personal judgment. I sit down, enjoy the game, have two beers. Two. Not twelve. Not chugged. Not power-drinking. Two normal, spaced-out beers while watching sports like a functioning adult. Then I’m informed that if I want another beer, I must order food because apparently two beers automatically means I’m on the verge of collapse. Now, I’m not a chemist or a doctor, but I’m fairly confident that a couple of wings do not magically sober someone up if they’re drunk which, for the record, I was not. If I were, I wouldn’t be calmly typing this review at the bar. I understand rules. I follow rules. I respect TABC guidelines. What I don’t respect is rules applied inconsistently. Because while I’m being cut off pending poultry consumption, I notice other patrons clearly on the same or greater drinking pace being served without issue. So naturally, I conclude I’ve somehow landed on the trainer’s naughty list. For context, I was drinking Michelob Ultra, which is basically carbonated water that once heard a rumor about hops. Eventually, the wings arrive. The beer follows. At that point, I decline it and leave not because I was upset about the alcohol, but because I don’t enjoy being treated like a liability instead of a customer. Here’s the takeaway: If your policy is “two beers equals too drunk,” then either train your staff better or apply the rule consistently because letting a barely-comfortable-with-authority TABC-certified employee (and I use that term loosely here) arbitrarily decide who’s had “too much” is a great way to lose business. Thanks, Pluckers. The wings were fine. The experience? A masterclass in how to turn a good bar into a one-star memory...... well I can share this in response to your response. Your trainer was feeding another patron she was chatting up 2 large trash can punches which lists 4 shots per drink on your menu... my math tells me that is equivalent to 4 beers so TABC rules arent being enforced so please dont hide behind that. Be honest you have staff issues and that means management issues which is a whole new can of worms . so the likelihood of me entertaining another visit are up there with next to never and maybe next week to catch this travesty of service on camera to post ....

Walked in w a group of 8 and it took 3 different people to seat us. The server greeted us right away however didn’t come back for over 15 minutes to get our order. I had to raise my hand several times for attention and when he saw me he walked to the back. Once we received our food he came back to ask how it was and that’s the last we saw him. Upon receiving checks he mentioned the auto grat and there it was. The sad realization that the server didn’t care because he was making his tip regardless. The manager never showed his face or greeted tables. I barely saw staff yet alone management.

I stopped by this Pluckers on I-10 to grab lunch with some old buddies, and the experience was honestly terrible from start to finish. The staff was noticeably unfriendly — especially toward our group of Black customers. Two of my friends are from the Caribbean and have strong accents, and the way the staff interacted with them was flat-out rude. We waited at the bar for about five minutes before anyone even acknowledged us or gave us menus. The manager kept watching us from a distance like we were doing something wrong, which made the whole situation uncomfortable. When the food finally came out, it didn’t get any better. The wings were undercooked, barely seasoned, and completely lacked flavor. We ordered a group platter and could hardly eat it — and that says a lot because we’re big guys who love good food. Overall, this was a horrible experience. Between the unwelcoming service and bland food, I wouldn’t recommend this Pluckers to anyone. There are plenty of local spots that know how to season wings and treat every customer with respect, no matter who they are.

This Pluckers is worse than the alamo ranch location. Their host team cant seem to get it together. Once seated, waited over 15 minutes for a server to come over after 6 different servers made eye contact and walked right past my table. The manager a tall while male bald head was trying to avoid confrontation with a togo order at the front. Tables all around us needed to be bussed and they were fully staffed. Finally a server came over and took the entire tables order. Had to wait another 15 minutes to get a drink from the bar. Once the food came out, the fries were old and cold, the bone in wings you could tell had been sitting in expo dying, they were old and dried out. Also missing an entire order of fries. The server came back over and I explained everything to him saying I know its not his fault. He said he would get everything remade on the fly. It was not the fly it took time, alot of time. The server even came back over and asked if the manager had been over. The manager had walked right past our table about 10 minutes prior and did nothing. Apparently on their walkie talkies or however they communicate he said he was coming over. The new food arrived, still missing the side of fries which was up in window took another 5 mins to get those. The fries were fresh on top but old and cold underneath. They gave me about half the boneless wings I had on my previous plate. And the back of house team needs to be restrained on how to toss wings im sauce correctly. The server kept coming by to check on the table. The manager walking past asked if the food was any better thats it. He clearly needs some more training since he cant even deal with confrontation. It's part of the job, if you cant do it get a new one. Once done we had to wait a while until we saw our server to ask for the check.
