Naan Point San Bruno Reviews
If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine, this place is one of the best. Their Naan is really good actually all in their menu taste really good. Very polite and nice staff. Place is very neat and pleasant for an indian restaurant. Over all, my experience to this place is beyond my expectation and i highly recommend this to everyone.
We love coming here! The service is fast and everyone is friendly. I very much appreciate the wide range in spice levels available. The menus are clearly marked for different dietary accommodations. There are daily and weekend specials in addition to a wide menu selection. Its clean and conveniently located with plenty of parking. My personal favorite touch is the hospitality of serving complimentary chai when dining in. We eat here all the time and everything has always been good!
As always, great food and excellent service. Writing this review because we tried the tandoori for the first time. We were definitely missing out not trying it sooner. I had the tandoori mixed plate that included chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, lamb seekh kebab, and prawns. My wife had the full chicken tandoori. It was by far the best meal we had there. Come with your appetite because it is a big meal. We could have shared. But lucky for us, we now have leftovers.
Fast, friendly service. Good for families with kids. Everything we tried was delicious! The Tandoori Fish was a standout. Moist, charred, spicy… Amazing! All their food is halal. They have vegan options as well. There’s something for everyone. We’ll definitely be back!
I recently dined at Naan Point and was thoroughly impressed! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff set the tone for a wonderful meal. The menu offers a great range of authentic Indian dishes, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. The naan was soft, fluffy, and perfectly baked, making it a standout—especially the garlic naan! We also loved the chicken tika masala: it was creamy and rich with just the right amount of spice. Each dish felt like a carefully crafted experience of Indian culinary tradition. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff were happy to make recommendations based on our preferences. Whether you’re craving something spicy or mild, Naan Point has something for everyone. It’s a must-visit for anyone in the area looking for a genuine taste of India. Highly recommended!
This is a new spot in the shopping center that use to be a Chinese restaurant. New owners menu and staff. Very clean, friendly staff and nice menu options. We tried the Aloo Tikka, FULL chicken tandoori, lamb mushroom with plain Naan and of course a large Taj beer. Make sure to let them know your spice level or your mouth could end up on fire. The food was very good and the texture a little different from other Naan restraunts. We were very please to stop by and and enjoyed our meal. Order the Full chicken it's worth it. We were stuffed. I hope they fix the sound system and keep the music playing as it adds to the mood and theme. I say check it out.

I totally loved this place. Their kulcha and naan variety is outstanding. Service was really quick and they were very polite as well. One of the best Indian places I came across very close to the SF airport.
The host was very nice and patient when we asked questions about the food. The food was absolutely delicious and was ready fast.
Great flavors Vindaloo and the char on the Grilled tandoori chicken kebobs NEVER disappoint. When have a layover at SFO rent a car and pop on over worth the drive. Consistent flavors. Thank you NAAN Point
Really great food. I’ve tried many dishes - tandoori chicken and prawns are among the best I’ve had. Their biryanis are delicious. Curries are great. Appetizers also very tasty. Some of the best Indian food on the peninsula. And the service is great. I come here at least once a week. Well priced and generous portions too.

Had a wonderful experience at NANPOINT Indian Restaurant. The food was delicious—flavorful, fresh, and authentically prepared. The highlight was not just the meal, but the hospitality. The owner personally ensured everything was perfect and even treated us to free chai, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. Really appreciate the kindness, attention to detail, and the genuine care for customers. Highly recommend this place if you want great food paired with heartfelt hospitality.
Good Indian restaurant near SFO international airport. We got the lamb thali with garlic Naan, butter chicken thali with garlic naan and kadhai chicken. Portions size is good and food is also good. Thali comes with choley and a tandoori chicken piece. I liked the lamb curry. We also got rose falooda which was amazing 🤩 quick and good service 😊
The food was exceptional, with perfectly balanced flavors, and the steak was cooked to perfection,". It would also highlight the attentive and knowledgeable service, and perhaps the cozy or lively atmosphere.
Great little hole in the wall for Indian food in the south side of San Francisco. Pros: Great parking space, very favorable, lots of different options, able to walk after lunch in the outlet area, clean place and restaurant, rice was included was entrees, and chai tea was great. Con: only con was that both chicken entrees seemed small as we only eat out once per week for our "cheat meal" I was hoping for more chicken to hit my protein intake. However the taste was amazing.
Wasn't a fan the first time though the cousins were. Enjoyed it much more the second time. The first time we got medium spice for most of our dishes and was really struggling. So the second time we got mostly mild. But the mild had no spice at all. Would love if there was an in between spice level. * Papadi Chaat - medium spice. Crispy. Cold. Didn't know there were spice levels for chaat. This is not a main menu item but instead a special we saw taped at the counter. Would get again * Aloo Tikka Chaat - medium spice. Mixes really well with the papadi chaat * Chicken Vindaloo (mild) & Lamb Vindaloo (medium) - both the vindaloo sauce came out tasting completely different. We don't know if it's because of the spice level or the fats from the proteins but it was different. We enjoyed the lamb vindaloo more. * Chicken korma (mild) - good * Paneer tikka masala (mild) - favorite but would have liked a little spice * Chicken biryani (mild) - good * Garlic naan - have garlicy. Not too oily. Crispy. All curries comes with rice if you ask for it. There are specials on the counter. Free endless chai.
On our way to San Francisco, this was a pitstop, but the food did not disappoint. The butter chicken was good, not too greasy. The tandoori chicken bowl was a pleasant surprise—lots of chicken and veggies along with rice. My only complaint here, for which I took a star, was the thali. Which self-respecting North Indian Food place gives you thalil with only rice and no naan or bread? As you can see, our thali came only with rice. This is a suggestion to the management: maybe cut down on the rice and add half a piece of naan or roti instead.
Wonderful little Indian restaurant. Came here after a long days work for some comforting food and was happily surprised. Food service was quick and piping hot. Portions were generous. Make sure you select the correct spice level to avoid dissatisfaction- lol. Staff were courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Great flavors and lots of food options including vegan. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

If definitely satisfied the craving for indian food. My boyfriend and i have nut allergies and the staff was very attentive and made sure there would be no cross contamination. The chicken vindaloo was great paired with the garlic naan and the complimentary rice they serve you. The chana masala was decent but not my favorite that i’ve tried. Overall the service was great and the food was good and comes close to my favorite indian spot in north beach. Will definitely be back!

Amazing spot for Indian Food in South San Francisco area which provide good options for vegetarian & non veg option. We tried chicken Tikka masala, shahi paneer, garlic naan & tandoori chicken. Everything was tasted good & spice level was perfect. Their service were fast & takes care of the customer request soon. They provide complimentry tea which is a good gesture. It's not budget friendly anymore as they increased the price.
Ordered through DoorDash. The curry was okay, the naan was hard and didn’t taste good. Samosa wasn’t great either. A bit disappointing overall..hoping for better next time.

Ordered delivery from this place. Food wasn’t terrible but if you’ve ever had Indian food from a prominently Indian area in the US, you’d know how mediocre this is. If you’ve never had good Indian food, this place will probably still seem good to you. But with Indian restaurants in America, they’re usually very expensive for the portion and what you pay for (ingredients, execution, knowledge, difficulty of cuisine, etc). Like $20 for butter chicken. You could make better butter chicken off of a Youtube tutorial for maybe $4 and triple the portion of what you’d pay $20 for. It lacked flavor outside of earthiness and coriander. It was very bitter and earthy, lacking balance completely. Chicken was drastically overcooked (rubbery) and was from the bad parts of the chicken meat that are high in tendon. Aka it is hard and chewy at the seams. The sauce was, also, insanely salty but still lacked any good flavor. Why? Because like I said, it was just heavily earthy with no real notes outside of that. Meaning you just over salted a dirt taste. It was so “earthy” that it was essentially feeling like mud on my tongue. The aromatic notes were nice but it lacked the actual flavor foundation of a true butter chicken or curry. The garam masala was just not enough really, barely tasted it. The coriander flavor was stronger than anything really. Basmati rice had 0 fragrance, and was drastically overcooked. Garlic naan was good. No complaints outside of the garlic flavor being very lacking. Chicken samosas were likely reheated from days before. They didn’t have a fried texture at all, let alone fresh even. They were chewy and pulled like tough bread. So I don’t appreciate being charged $12 for reheated (likely frozen) samosas. The samosas were spiced VERY WELL, which was the best part of the entire meal. However, somehow, they lacked ANY SEMBLANCE OF SALT OR FLAVOR. Aromatically they were fantastic, but flavor was just bland. It tasted OK, not hard on the mouth or anything. But would i ever go again? No, I’d actually just think “Indian food is kinda mid” if this was my first impression. But I absolutely LOVE Indian food. Back in WA, I lived near a lot of Indian restaurants. And this place would not survive there with that competition. Locally, there isn’t really much of any. I mean literally the most common spot to pop up on search is in a mall food court lol.
