All Things Ube Desserts San Diego Reviews
Absolutely love All Things Ube! The treats and staff are amazing. Everything we’ve tried from here has been so delicious - the cookies, cheesecake, mochi bricks, brownies. Oh my gosh, the ube is just *chefs kiss*. My all time fave has got to be the ube mochi bricks. We’ve moved to Australia since they first opened, and of course had to make a stop back in SD after all these years. Plenty of new things on the menu - the ube banana pudding was amazing, and the three chocolate bars made it all the way back to Australia with us, and were all super delish!
Highly recommend, stopped by a farmers market near our room. Dennis was very welcoming and answered all my questions. The brownie has a crazy flavor combo. Like it just goes together. All the the flavors mix perfectly. The cookies have a great texture, the ouside is dence but the inside is moist, promising every bight to be well balanced. Compared to other cookies that fall apast after the 1st bight, this Ube cookie maintains shape after every bight. Have to try them no doubt.
The Hype is right! Absolutely love all the desserts here. We snagged the last cinnamon rolls and a serving of cheesecake bites. It barely made it home.
The food is out of this world! I would say that out of all of the ube shops I've been to, this certainly is the best! The ube flavor is outstanding and you can actually taste the ube in the desserts and drinks, and that's really hard to do in food, since you can't taste the ube. I'd recommend adding decorations to the shop for a more popping store, but I'd fly to San Diego and try it again!

PSA: they are on the back side of the building, facing Camino Ruiz! I crave their ube crinkle cookie often and would make dedicated trips to this place to pick it up. So delicious! They did raise their prices a tad since when i first visited (4.50 to $5), but for a small business, they will still have my business. I keep meaning to try their drinks, so will be back!!
Very cute little dessert place. We have yet to try their drinks but they all look amazing. The cookies here are sooo good! We've seen them at so many street fairs and farmers markets, now we know to hit them up more often!
We had the Ube cheesecake when they were at FoodieLand! SOOOOOOOO good! Omg! It comes in a pack of 4 (not sure if they have more sizes but that’s what they had there) and we bought 5 packs lol
Some of the reviews on here are a little over the top w their criticism. From another small business owner, who also does the crazy Dubai trend. Homemade pistachio cream made from scratch, will taste more like peanut butter. I appreciate that they make it from scratch and not use already made pistachio cream. I tried their Ube chocolate bar and it was a little too sweet but it helped me curb my cravings by eating less. 🤣 they always use premium white chocolate in their bars. Unlike some, that use almond bark 🙃 I love their cheesecake bites, it’s my favorite from their menu. I also tried their ube lemonade, it was so good but I wish it came in a bigger container. Maybe it does? I have known the owners for a decade now, and I have to say they are the kindest hardworking people, I have ever met in my life. Just remember to those thinking about leaving rude reviews, just know you’re hurting a small business that started from nothing. Instead leave that feedback directly with them & give them that chance to make things right. I’ve always had a great experience coming. The front workers are always so nice and it’s not awkward or weird while waiting. Overall, thank you guys for continuously doing your thing.
Amazing baked goods!! I had the coffee with the ube foam on top, the brownie, cookies, and the AMAZING cheesecake. I almost ate all 12 pieces by myself! Definitely recommend this shop 💜
I order their catering platters for the last couple years for work events. The owner is extremely kind and a pleasure to work with! Their desserts are so delicious and I always get great feedback from colleagues, "the mochi brownie bites were FIRE" and how the white chocolate ube cookie was "the best cookie I've ever had in my life, easily in top 3 of all time"
I came across a pop up of this shop at a farmers market. I tried many things - from mochi to Dubai chocolate. All are yummy goodness. I can’t wait to try their new items! The service is friendly:)
Went here a couple of weeks ago to try it out and fell in love with their desserts! I’ve tried many different places that sell ube desserts and it’s always a hit or miss. This place definitely hits! I got the crinkle cookies, ube mochi brick-my fave, stuffed macadamia ube cookie, brownie and their ube powder cookie (forgot the actual name) but that was 🔥
The girls at the front were just absolute sweethearts and you can tell these desserts are made with so much love! The ube cheesecake bites, ube cheesecake slice, and halo halo are DELICIOUS! This place is the best ube spot in town and definitely my favorite place to go to whenever I’m craving a sweet treat. Would 100% recommend!!!!

My favorite dessert stop whenever I am in the area. I especially love the ube mochi and the cheesecake. After trying their desserts at several food festivals, I am thrilled that they have a storefront. A major hidden gem!
The desserts/cookies are very good! Highly recommend this place for yummy ube treats. However, make sure to double check your order and receipt before you leave because the workers are very forgetful and often mess things up.

We all tried the ube knafeh strawberries, ube knafeh chocolate bar, and ube brownie today. The strawberries were the most disappointing. Very overpriced for a 16oz cup of strawberries ($15). What's the point in the domed lid if you're not going to fill the cup past the lid line? The pistachio sauce is definitely not like other pistachio sauce/cream and the ube chocolate sauce was not a sauce as it hardened on the strawberries. I reckon they used the same ube chocolate for their sauce as for their chocolate bars based on the chocolate solidifying. The ube knafeh chocolate bar was good. The ube brownies have a cake like consistency and not as dense as I prefer brownies. Rounded up to 3 stars as the folks who work here are always so nice.

Mochi Brick was Good. Whoever was preparing the Ube Halo-Halo though needs to be retrained. The ice was over blended, the ube ice cream was almost non-existent. And the advertised lecheflan was left out completely. Felt like you guys ran out of IceCream and lecheflan and took the 10 minutes it spent blending to find some at the bottom of the container. Maybe it was a new hire but I'll be coming back to try the other things.

Fun concept with lots of Ube-themed desserts, but nothing really hit the mark. The cookie was dry, and the cheesecake tasted good but had more of a pudding texture than true cheesecake. Some items seemed like they may rely on artificial colors or ingredients, which I prefer to avoid. Probably would not come back.
Normally service is timely and decent here when the ladies work the cashier. Unfortunately, ordered 4 items and only 1 had to be made. It blew my mind to realize it took them 30 mins to prepare halo halo of all items. When it came out it was definitely lacking in terms of presentation.

They should consider expanding their store to include essential amenities. Currently, there are no restrooms available, and there are only chairs outside. Since they have been established since 2018, it’s important to meet customer needs. Additionally, the price for the strawberry was a bit high, and also when my halo-halo was finally ready for pickup, the ice had already melted, which was very disappointing. And the last thing, my friend ordered was already made but has just been sitting on their counter table for about 15min. I think overall it just over-hyped However, I only enjoy their Ube brownies.
Paid $33 for knafeh chocolate bar and Dubai strawberry cup. I’m not gonna lie, looked AMAZING presentation on point but it was absolutely disgusting. You can taste the alcohol in the ube extract they use. Their pistachio filling was all wrong. Barely any pistachio flavor, I think they mixed it will almond butter. The kaitifi dough is NON EXISTENT. The pretty girl working was sweet tho.
