Roady's is like stepping back in time to what I picture the West would be. Friendly service, good food, and wood plank walls set the old west atmosphere. The biscuits and gravy are my friends favorite. I enjoy the corned beef hash or eggs Benedict with the homefries. So yummy!

I love having Roady’s just down the street. Anton and his team are the kind of people who make you feel at home the second you walk in. They're genuinely kind, attentive, and proud of what they do. The other day it was cold, I was tired, and I needed something cozy but filling (not quite soup-weather for me) so I stopped in for a beef dip. I grew up in an East L.A. family, so I’ve eaten my fair share at Philippe’s and my standards are high. Roady’s totally delivered. Soft bread, tender meat that practically melted in my mouth, and au jus that was exactly right. It’s just a good, honest diner run by good people, and I’m really glad they’re part of the neighborhood.

Easily my favorite diner in the San Dimas area. It’s a traditional American diner right in the heart of downtown San Dimas on what looks like good old-fashioned Main Street America. Parking in this area is extremely easy, there is a parking lot in the rear, but we were able to find a free space right out front. Inside is also very large with many different seating areas and seating options. Our waitress was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out fast and at a fair price. The menu is really large and filled with all sorts of great American diner classics. I had heard so much about their Chicken Fried Steak and overheard many other diners ordering it before me so that’s what I chose for my breakfast and I was extremely satisfied with it. It was a large cut of meat and it had great flavor. The eggs were also cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed them. I got a biscuit on the side, which was pretty small, but the flavor was really nice, I just wish it was larger in size. Overall I would suggest to any diner fan in the area.

A classic old fashioned Diner complete with great food, generous portions, and friendly, cheerful servers. Great spot for family meals. Counter service is exceptional as well.

This restaurant food reminds me of one of those family Sundays at Grandma's house. The flavor in food is amazing and very good quality. The place sends you back in time. They still do those old-school shakes (they are amazing, btw), but the outmost here is just very nice and clean. I truly recommend this place. It's a blast from the past.

Absolutely spectacular food and service. Stopped in for a late breakfast, and had an amazing experience. The eggs were perfect, the biscuits and gravy were amazing, and the home fries were flawless. Lorena was absolutely on top of it on the service side. Five star everything. Would absolutely return.

We lived in San Dimas back in the 1990s. This was our favorite breakfast joint then and it still is. We always eat here when in town. Great American comfort food. Cozy, comfy and great food. Clean restrooms are a plus.

Let's be honest, this place is old, looks old, feels old, etc. The walls are still wood paneling and there are different kinds of carpet pulling up here and there, pictures on the wall that are literally faded with time...but it's a real, genuine old town, Americana cafe and the vibe there is beautiful. This is clearly the kind of place where people have been going for decades, maybe even generations. The staff are amazing, super friendly and of the type that still call people "honey" with a big smile. The food isn't cheap, but that's not on them...That's the economy. They're just going with the times. But every meal we have had there is good and the portions are very "American sized." The coffee is great! And it has a really nice, downhome vibe that just feels good. Don't be afraid to give it a try. Just expect what I wrote above and you'll have a nice experience. (Oh, don't use the restrooms. They're kinda truck-stoppy. Just keeping it real.) Maybe we'll see you there, because we do go back pretty regularly. 🙂

You get quite a bit of food for a good price. The staff is friendly and will do their best to make sure you are satisfied with everything. I have only been there for breakfast, but they have a ton of options for food. Make sure to check the specials on the chalkboard as these are usually not on the menu. There is some street parking, but there is more parking behind the restaurant.

We went here after a day at raging waters, it was very nice. The service was quick, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was great, everything we ordered had great flavor and was pleasing to the eye.

Roady’s Restaurant is a quaint Mom n Pops diner in San Dimas CA. It’s a popular family-style diner offering a cozy atmosphere and modest American cuisine. The decor is pretty consistent with Old town’s history giving a 1950’s-60’s appearance and vibe. I arrived on a Saturday morning as a first time customer, and sat at the bar. Their paper menu has most of the basic breakfast and lunch American cuisine. I ordered their classic French Toasts with strawberries, OJ and coffee. Food was banal flavor and taste. (Syrup and butter available upon request! My goodness!) Whipped cream looked like it was put in a hurry on my FT. Reg Coffee was okay. Server forgot my OJ; so I cannot comment on its quality. I waited patiently to see if she remembers but failed. Roady’s very spacious with huge indoor seats as well as their front street patio. Prices seem fair for the area. Service was on point but tend to forget your order. I wanted to see if she’d remembers but did not. I abhor that. But I’m glad she remembered not to charge me on my bill. No tip was rendered. Overall, it’s an old town’s diner with a hit or miss service. I’m reticent to recommend this diner spot.

Quaint historical downtown cafe eatery. Nice wait staff. My husband had chicken fried steak and I had a spinach omelet with home frys. We ate outside and the weather was perfect. Sorry to say; the food was only okay. My omelet was over cooked, it was dry. Home frys are really good! The chicken fried steak was like a frozen chicken patty with the country gravy on it; nearly horrible. I don't think we will be back for breakfast.

The ladies were nice, the food was very cold and very awful. A prisoner would send it back. Way too expensive for what you get. A $50 check for two people with basic bacon and eggs.

Got the chicken and waffles. Butter had a hair on it. Waffles tasted basic and the fried chicken was unbelievably bland. Other 2 people I was with bought burger meals, the fries and burger patties were obviously frozen. First and last time here. Left unsatisfied

Took two orders to go. Service was good but the portions are ridiculously small. Paid almost $24 for breakfast. I’m told it wasn’t always this way but I won’t be finding out for myself.
