This place is great me and the family stopped by to grab a bite. The kids ordered burgers and Fries with a soda they ate every bite and enjoyed it my husband and I ordered bacon burgers which we enjoyed and ate every bite they also came with french fries and a soda which we ate all the fries and drink all the soda and enjoyed every bit. I recommend this place it's very clean with friendly staff and fast service with great prices couldn't ask for more.

I ordered a “Root beer please” and the employee heard “Root beer freeze” and gave me both! Great service, very good customer service! I even saw them handle a difficult customer with grace and professionalism!! Will go again!

It's our local easy spoon. The burgers are char broiled, and they have the best shakes in the San Gabriel valley. It's an inexpensive place to have a decent breakfast or lunch.

I have been eating at Kosmo's for years for one simple reason- quality. Quality of food and quality of service. My wife gets the tacos, my son and I get the pastrami, and my daughter loves the all day breakfast selections. Literally something for everyone. You won't be disappointed.

Had the craving for some hot, delicious French fries and along with some yellow peppers and Catsup, these really hit the spot! I got a small and that was plenty, maybe too much for one person but I'm not complaining, ate them all! The young lady at the drive thru window was sweet, friendly, courteous and professional! Love her smile! Will be going back again soon, I really dig those hot and FRESH French fries! Thank you Kosmos!

Nice people, decent food. I had the turkey combo burger and it was good. Was not over cooked or tasted frozen like most turkey burgers do. The fries were my favirite, perfectly seasoned and crunchy. I also think that they are very generous with portion size and very fairly priced. Also they have drinking bowls outside for your doggies.

For years I’ve driven past Kosmos and I’ve always told myself I need to try it here someday. Someday came today, and now I wonder why it took me so long. I had the all meat breakfast burrito. Bacon, sausage, ham, eggs and hashbrowns wrapped in a tortilla big enough to use as a blanket. This monster burrito could easily feed three people. Delicious. Staff is very nice and dining areas inside and out is clean. I’ll definitely come back to try more items.

We always go here to eat whether for breakfast, lunch and dinner whenever we can when we’re around the area...Love the coziness of the place, the ambience, the pine trees outside, the workers are so nice and helpful and the food choices are amazing!!! They have all kinds of food, they even have gyro sandwiches, pastrami sandwich, carne asada, ginormous burritos(my son’s eye bulged when he was given his burrito🤣We thought he wouldn’t be able to finish it but he did ‘coz he said it's yummy, they also have the “real” breakfast steak. This little burger shack is a hidden gem. Their burgers are flavorful. And chili is very good. The portions aren't bad for the price. It's the perfect spot for a casual and satisfying meal.

It's like time traveling, being in a 1990's burger joint.. but it feels good to support a small business in this day and age. Nestled below the foothills of San Dimas sits Kosmos Burgers, the kind of place you don’t find so much as run into. Blink while driving and you’ll miss it. And that would be your mistake. It looks like it used to be something else once. Maybe an old McDonald’s. Maybe just another forgotten fast-food joint that time left behind. Kosmos didn’t bother erasing that history. It embraced it. Red vinyl booths line the room like they’ve absorbed decades of conversations. The napkin dispensers are the old metal kind, heavy and honest, the kind that don’t apologize for existing. I opt for the bacon cheeseburger. It takes a while, and that’s the point. It’s made to order, like the fries, not rushed and not pretending otherwise. The patty is thin and char-broiled, with a familiar taste you don’t question because you already trust it. The Thousand Island brings it all home. There’s comfort in that kind of burger. You know exactly what you’re getting, and it’s exactly what you expect. It’s like all the small mom-and-pop joints learned the recipe from the same quiet place long ago. Most of those places are gone now. This one isn’t. The drinks come in a “small” that’s really a medium, and go all the way up to a large that’s massive. The kind that keeps you hydrated for the long drive ahead, wherever you’re headed next. The place sits on old Route 66, and it knows it. There’s no manufactured nostalgia here. Just the real thing. A roadside stop that reminds you how travel used to feel before everything became optimized, branded, and disposable. Be sure to grab an ice cream. Yes, their machine is actually in service. I make a point to stop here whenever I’m passing through Azusa, Glendora, or San Dimas. Not because I have to. Because it feels wrong not to.

This is our "go to" restaurant. I'm almost afraid to review it because it will become so popular that it will get crowded and loose its quality. Great breakfast deals and menu that will surprise you. Small booths and parking is so/so. They do have a drive-thru that seems quite busy. Everything from burgers to greek salads.

I had a drive-through experience par excellence this morning. I ordered an Ortega and egg burrito adding bacon. When they asked me if I wanted sauce, I said yes hot sauce, please. One bite of the burrito I knew that I had found an excellent restaurant. The hashbrowns inside the burrito were crispy. The seasoning was perfect. The Ortega added a burst of flavor that I didn’t expect even though I love Ortega canned peppers. Then I tried the salsa that they gave me. It wasn’t a hot sauce. It was their salsa and it was the bomb. I could not have been happier to be eating that burrito at that moment.

An all around SOLID American (multi-cuisine) restaurant. This is my first time, but not my brother-in-law’s first time here. He enjoys the lunchtime burgers, but today we were there for breakfast. I usually establish my review opinions by ordering a breakfast burrito. My eye was caught by the ‘all meat’ breakfast burrito. You will notice that it had sausage, ham, and bacon with the usual hashbrowns and eggs. It was enormous, as described on the menu. My brother-in-law got the pancakes and eggs with sausage. The pico de gallo and salsa were spot on and made the breakfast burrito a hit compared to what I usually find in the area. I’m not a small guy and I can eat a pretty decent amount. I had to bring half of my burrito home. I also like that I could self serve my 3 cups of coffee. They had vanilla creamer, and the coffee did not have that typical bitter, weak, diner taste. I could easily post these pics and just write nothing, and the pics would speak for themselves. However, there is so much to say here. When I first opened it up, all I could do was laugh. You could cut it lengthwise and have two, good sized burritos. It could easily feed a family of four. It is the "All Meats Giant Burrito" and is the biggest breakfast burrito around. I bought it two days ago and as of day three I still am trying to finish it.

Actually we were very disappointed for the amount of money they charge the portions are small. But the service was great we went in with our smelly Football team and the staff were very attentive and on top of it. Used to love this place, great service, good food...one complaint, though...your fries are terrible! We used to come here all the time and get the fries well done with ranch and they were amazing...then a few years back you switched to the worst fries ever...I've tried to live with them, hoping you would realize this was a terrible place to compromise to save money, but sadly, no...I eat here way less than I used to and I bet I'm not the only one...if you're trying to save money it kind of backfires if you lose customers

A little pricey, but I think everything is now just have to suck it up. Drive through line was very long. I went inside to get my to go order was faster. My bacon and egg sandwich was delicious. UPDATE: March 2026 sunday afternoon drive through line long but moved quickly, prices have not increased dramatically just normal. And my Gyro sandwich was fabulous !!

It was my family's first time trying it, we are from out of state, so we are not familiar with this place. We ordered fancy hamburgers with extras, sandwiches to eat, plus side orders. My family and I, all agreed their bread especially the hamburger buns were old, the bread easily craked/broke, my hamburger, I had to take it back and get a refund, because not only the bread was old, but the hamburger patty was very dry & hard. Although, I do have to say the fried mushrooms & zucchini were very good!! The workers there were friendly too!!

Loved this place for years! Consistently good with huge burgers to satisfy any and all. The breakfast burritos are huge and so "simple" good.... Meaning it's just straightforward ingredients to make a great tasting food. The All-Meat breakfast burrito is about the size of a newborn so be prepared to share! Hours are hit and miss now since they are short-staffed. Definitely feel for them and always try to support them when I have a chance.

Pretty decent food. It's similar to a Tom's Burger. Has a drive-thru and seating inside. We ordered chili cheese fries, blta, gyro, charbroiled chicken sandwich and a regular fry. Everything was pretty good but the fries were undercooked. Overall, it was good and decently priced.

This site is a “throwback” to the days of a burger diner. Good food, fast and friendly service. I had a cheeseburger, it was exactly as I expected, nothing fancy, just a good cheeseburger. Recommended.

Grilled cheese is good, unfortunately can't try their burgers because they have egg in them. Response to owner: I asked at the drive thru if egg was used in the burgers as a binder and was told yes. Glad that the burgers do not have egg. They also have lovely outside seating area, with a great view of the mountains. My son states the Horchata is phenomenal. The price for the Burger combo, you cannot find this in California now. Definitely a place I will revisit when I'm in the area. Nothing fancy, just good old Burger

Went there to have their BIG, Bacon & Sausage Breakfast Burrito. It certainly was HUGE as I couldn't eat the whole thing in one sitting. Turned out to be a two-day project PLUS it was quite tasty to boot. Good stuff👍!

The breakfast sandwich is the most consistent. Sometimes with Burgers the bread is soggy or the fries are hard as a rock. Sometimes it's good but not consistent at all. You can't be letting those fries sit around a while and then serve them up to a customer.

I'm giving this a three only because I have to average out a 1 and a 5. Of you want breakfast, this is the place! The breakfast burritos are big, tasty and reasonable, no matter which variety you get. And the breakfasts come with sausage and bacon, whether you get the pancake, waffle, or French Toast variety. But if you want lunch, be prepared for a gristle burger, which I can't stomach. So, one star for lunch, but five stars for an excellent breakfast.

Just ok experience, longer than usual wait time in drive through line. They don't have prices on the menu so you have to guess what you'll pay until you get to the window. Food taste was average to above average.

It's a great little local small business. Always open and always have people eating there. The food isn't horrible, it can be a lot better. I think they have more of a breakfast clientele.

I will say this the service was extremely friendly and fast. Unfortunately we did not have a good meal from them. We ordered chili burgers, chili fries and within a 5 minute drive home food was cold. it almost felt like food that had been sitting out for a couple hours just mushy and cold. Talked with a few family members about this place who've gone throughout the years and they said it's usually a 50/50 shot with this place. They did say that their breakfasts were really good though. I don't think I'd ever go back for lunch or dinner but might have to try a breakfast.

They have really good handmade real ice cream milkshakes. And their breakfast croissant sandwiches are really bomb and their breakfast burritos are good too. Burgers are good also. And they have good fried mushrooms

A friend recommended this spot for the breakfast burrito, so I stopped in to give it a try. It’s a cool neighborhood burger joint, very casual and not fancy, with indoor and outdoor seating plus a drive-thru. They serve breakfast all day along with the usual burger stand staples. Service was friendly and quick. The vibe is super laid-back. Families with kids fresh from soccer games, groups of friends hanging out. It’s that kind of spot. I ordered the Everything Breakfast Burrito without ham. It came packed with bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese, and hashbrowns. The tortilla was fresh and tasty, but overall the burrito ate a little dry. For me, the hashbrowns dominated too much, and the eggs, sausage, and cheese didn’t get a chance to shine. No sauce inside either, so ketchup or some salsa on the side is a must. Next time, I’ll probably try one of their breakfast specials. Looking around at other tables, I was definitely jealous. Everything else looked pretty good.

They do not have prices posted on the board on the drive through and we ordered 2 small cokes and one order of onion rings and one small order of fries and when we pulled up to the window it was over 20 dollars for our ordered! The onion rings as well as the fries weren't worth what ever they cost? I. And my friend will not be going back there again.

I am sorry to say this was my first visit here in 2 years since my husband passed away. I brought the kids here today so I could share his favorite seasoned french fries. I ordered a large seasoned fry order. I have never had a bad experience here at Kosmos until today . I sat patiently waiting while everyone else was served. Finally the girl behind the counter asked me what I was waiting for. Then the other girl bagging orders finally brought me my order, with an ugly attitude. Yes I was irritated that I was the last person to get my order but I didn't carry on or act foolish. I do not feel that your employee should have acted that way towards me. BEWARE: SOME OF THEM WAY OVERCHARGE! And most of the staff are rude and not very nice. But SOMETIMES the food is good and they sell breakfast all day so we have been here a few times. Yesterday our food was delicious, nice woman helped us and it was reasonably priced. Today we ordered the SAME thing. I was charged almost $5 more than yesterday. Part of my order was wrong. The eggs tasted disgusting and the pancakes tasted like they were cooked on top of 10 other foods. The burger was super sloppy, chicken strips were over cooked and fries under cooked. The food was all perfect yesterday. It has to be a different cook and wish I knew what cook was there today and when they work because I would NEVER visit there when they are working again. This has happened several times where the food almost tastes like a completely different place it tastes so different. I only gave it 2 stars because when the food is good, it's good but it is definitely hit and miss. We will be going to another all day breakfast burger place from now on.

Heard from FB group around Pomona that this place was great. We stopped in and ordered grilled chicken sandwich and fries, not pleased at all for the price we paid. Chicken was dry, sandwich was falling apart, fry’s hard and stale. F1st time there and it will be our last, and to top it all off, please was dirty. This place needs an inspection bad. Beware !!!!!

Called in an order yesterday so I wouldn't have to wait in the long lines in the drive through. They said it would be ready in fifteen minutes. I pulled up ten minutes after placing my order, only to have the extremely rude "manager" (she swore she was the manager) lock the doors on me as I pulled in. Five minutes early. I called. It took calling twice to get them to answer the phone. She finally answered and informed me I need to go through the drive through. My response "no ma'am. I called in my order to avoid the line in the drive through and I was never told you'd be locking the doors. It's 600 on a Friday night!" She told me to come back to the door (mind you, I'm disabled and walking is painful. I've already walked up there once, stood for five minutes and gave up when she glared at me through the door. ) So. I wrnt back up. Waited another five minutes and she still hadn't came to the door. I decided at that point this business didn't need my money. I walked away, climbed into my car and drove off. She never opened the door until I was already back on foothill. I don't understand how this place is still in business. I know I won't be back.

We could not get inside of this place. All the doors were locked. We kept knocking but no employees would respond. Place had several people eating inside that saw us trying to enter. I thought that legally a business had to have the doors unlocked during operating hours. Waste of time here. Customers are locked out during the day. We went to Mr D's down the street and they allowed us to enter and eat unlike kosmos

Waited twenty minutes for coffee to go with our breakfast. They forgot to charge me for ranch, so now I'm not going to eat my food. ‍ it isn't my fault they didn't charge me for it and it isn't my fault they refuse to charge my card. Hostile employees. I could have done without the hate and vitriol that they gave me with my breakfast. We used to come here all the time. Never again

Horrible service and rude staff. Deliberately ignored a repeated request for a particular food item only to deliver undercooked and unsafe food. As well deliberately ignored choice in drink and treated me nasty at the window. There's a sign saying the service is bad because nobody wants to work but if the gal that served me was the owner or manager I can easily see why. DO NOT EAT HERE. THERE ARE WAY BETTER BURGER PLACES THAT ACTUALLY TAKE YOUR ORDER CORRECTLY AND DON'T CHARGE NEARLY $15 FOR THE WRONG FOOD AND A BAD ATTITUDE.

Gave me a sorry grilled cheese with no tuna when I asked for a tuna melt and refused to correct their wrong. I called as soon as it happened and the person who answered the phone told me well all we can do is give you credit for a tuna melt so I said okay and the next day I come in and they refuse to acknowledge anything and ask for my name and number to give to the owner and I’m like you took my name and number down yesterday and told me you’d replace my sandwich? This is terrible customer service. I’ve come here all my life and I’m disappointed with the team.

In response to the owners response to my post: Please ask your staff, I called and specifically asked to speak to the manager and was told you were busy! I specifically asked the female that answered the phone to please replace the entire order because the person returning the burger rushed out of the house to get my order corrected. I knew that his burger and french fries would be cold and unappetizing by the time he returned home. The employee at the counter and even the cook came and apologized for the mistake. The person that did the return said someone, whom he could only assume was the manager, told him that they wouldnot replace the entire order because he didn't bring the entire order back. Please ask your staff. We have been patronizing Kosmos since we moved to La Verne in the late 80's. That is why we were so disappointed by the way one of your staff handled the situation. Went through drive thru - one burger was specifically ordered dry - no sauce/pickle. At pick up window, inquired that burger was dry. Get home, burger has the mayo/pickle sauce on it. Immediately call and ask to speak to manager, but am told manager is busy. Employee who answered was very nice and polite. Asked that entire order be replaced so that one of us doesn't have to eat a cold burger & fries. Cook was very nice and apologized for mistake. Manager is the reason for the bad review - he refused to give us a new order because we only brought back the burger with the sauce. Too bad we ran out the door to return it so quickly without grabbing everything. Told the manager we've been long time customers and he didn't care. Can't support a business that doesn't make the order right, I have to to return to the restaurant, and then the manager doesn't care. Too many other burger places to patronize.

I ordered an avocado salad for almost 15$ and I can’t believe they sent that out. All of the avocado slices were black and expired looking 🤢 Even the pita bread was soggy.

Serviced me chili cheese fries that weren’t even cooked just flat, shredded and cold. Was so sad I had drive back to get a refund because that was the most disgusting thing that ever happened to me in regards to chili fries.

Don't come here unless you want to be kicked out after you place your order and get your food. Forcing a family to eat outside (that has small children) with NO BATHROOM ACCESS is just ridiculous. If I wouldn't have already paid, and my children weren't hungry I would have left. This place has some of the rudest employees I have met. I work retail, so I always give grace but this just takes the cake. I will not be returning!!!!!

Ask for ranch and she said it's in the bag. We'll it wasn't. Not to .mention there was hair in my food. Ugh

This place has gone down hill big time. Service is lack there of. Their breakfast burrito USED to be SO good. Now it’s 4 pounds of potatoes and one egg. What a complete waste of money for flavorless overpriced potatoes in a dry tortilla. Never again will I go here!!!!

I ate here the other day because everyone on the local FB groups recommended it. It was terrible. The hamburger patty was about the same size as what you get at In N Out but the bun was twice the size. The patty was over cooked, maybe already cooked and re heated. The Onion rings batter was hard as a rock. The shake was good.

Was so excited to try Kosmos but the disappointment was huge. Burger was mediocre at best, huge bun with a small patty. Chili cheese fries were hands down my least favorite I've ever eaten. The fry oil is either used too long or the type of oil doesn't work with frozen fries. The Chili it self was sweet ?_? SADLY, will not return
