Andina is fantastic. I come once a week to get my Arepa Reina Pepiada & Tequeño fix. I've been to all Venezuelan restaurants in San Francisco and, in my opinion, Andina has the best Venezuelan food. I'd given up on eating Arepas out and would just make them at home, and it feels great to have this option available. I haven't checked out their dinner menu yet, I've only during their morning/early afternoon slot. Also, everyone who works here is great. It's a great space and the vibes are right. Super recommended.

It’s so hard to find good quality Venezuelan food on the west coast. When I heard about Andina earlier this year I was hype, but had a hard time visiting because it was always a pop up. I went to celebrate my birthday here for lunch, and it did NOT disappoint. My arepa and carne skills are not great, so it’s nice to be able to eat some amazing homemade quality food. Tasted like home. The servings are fantastic and generous. They really stuff the arepas with the meat and cheese. Great balance. And they have the awesome sauces to add on top, which I loved. The empanada was a perfect appetizer. The masa/dough tasted so balanced and delicious. And the platanos were yum. The location is also dreamy! For such a new restaurant, it’s truly a gorgeous location. Calm and quiet, but also so clean. Thank you for a wonderful experience and birthday. I am excited to go back.

Best Venezuelan food in town! I'm overjoyed to have discovered this gem, offering the most authentic and comforting Venezuelan cuisine. The menu boasts all the iconic dishes – from arepas, crispy empanadas, patacones, to tequeños. Each dish is a delightful taste of Venezuela; the arepas, in particular, were a standout, boasting a crispy exterior and a perfectly seasoned, mouthwatering filling. The chupe (chicken soup) and rice bowl weren't just tasty, they were an explosion of authentic Venezuelan flavors, taking me right back to my roots. The atmosphere of the restaurant adds to its charm. The staff's friendliness and kindness also deserve a special mention – they truly make you feel at home and beautifully captures the spirit of Venezuela people, making the dining experience even more enjoyable I'm already planning my next visit for one of the hallacas (Venezuelan tamales) – they're quite popular and I can't wait to try them. This place is definitely going to see me as a frequent visitor. Can't wait to be back!

The ambiance is top-tier, sharing a building with the Jazz Center and exceeding expectations with its elegant, high-quality interior. The food is refined yet simple, emphasizing authentic ingredients, balanced flavors, and perfect portion sizes. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality, making this spot a hidden gem worth visiting, even just to chillax.

Loved it! The arepas are full of cheesy goodness, the rice plates are a perfect portion size, and the empanadas looked great too! Unfortunately no empanadas foe us today, but we'll be back! If I had to be picky about one thing I'd say that the pork on the rice plate was a little tougher than I'd hoped it would be, but I still ate it all!

Best Venezuelan food in the Bay Area, each plate remind me my childhood, and the pasteles are so tasty. Excited to check out their next pop up. 100% recommended it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the new Venezuelan restaurant Andina, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that transported me straight to Venezuela. The star of the show at Andina was undoubtedly the arepas. The menu offered a wide variety of fillings, from traditional favorites like shredded beef and chicken with avocado to more creative options like plantains and tequeños. Each arepa was a flavor-packed masterpiece, and I couldn't get enough of them. But the greatness of Andina didn't stop with arepas. The menu boasted a diverse selection of Venezuelan dishes, allowing me to explore the rich and vibrant flavors of this South American cuisine. I had the opportunity to savor classics like pabellón criollo, all prepared with a level of authenticity and attention to detail that truly impressed me. The staff at Andina were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about sharing their Venezuelan culture and cuisine. Their recommendations and enthusiasm added a personal touch to the entire meal. In summary, Andina is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in the flavors of Venezuela. Andina is a culinary gem that will leave you craving more.

Such a wonderful place in Hayes Valley! It is so hard to find good Venezuelan/Colombian food in San Francisco so Andina is such a pleasant surprise, right in the heart of the city. The staff and service are top notch, the environment pristine and peaceful, and above all the food is delicious.

Amazing! Best Venezuelan food in San Francisco. This is authentic, unlike and delicious unlike some of the other establishments in the bay. Come try their brunch cachapas, snack on some tostones, and ofcourse get an arepa with some agua de panela or fresh passion fruit juice.

Excellent Venezuelan food! I had empanadas, an arepa reina and after eating all I couldn’t resist and ordered tequeños . Everything was delicious, well presented, the sauces on the side were tasty, the service was great. I highly recommend trying their food. Looking forward to keep coming for more food :)

I went for the first time yesterday. I ordered the arepa de pernil and a cocktail. It was amazing! The arepa was very generous and the pernil was tender and full of flavor. The staff was kind and friendly. 10/10 I will definitely be going back.

The woman who owns this restaurant, Victoria, is one of the hardest working and kindest people I've had the fortune of meeting. She has built this business with grit, working events, pop ups, catering, etc., leading up to this restaurant being available to everyone throughout the week. It's amazing! And it goes without saying, the food is delicious. Eat arepas 🫓 here, tell your friends, and keep this home grown business in business for a long time!! Also worth noting: arepas are wheat free naturally! 😁
