Black Point Cafe San Francisco Reviews
Pretty good coffee and the food was good too. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and enjoyed it. The location is easy to find right when you walk into SFO Terminal A. The staff were also very friendly.
So, my morning has been rough and the FIRST ray of sunshine was Carmen. She works here and asked me if I'm ok, and honestly, I think she made my day, early to say. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. It was fresh, toasty, and just simply perfect! When I went back to ask her name, there wasn't any attitude or anything. No hesitation. Still smiling, ear to ear. The place is extremely well lit and shiny clean.
Went here for the smoothies and man I was happy about it. Made fresh upon ordering by two ladies who work there and serve with a big happy smile. Even gave me a little bonus cup for the extra smoothie leftovers from their blender. Smoothies were tasty and super fresh. Exactly what I was looking for while waiting to board my plane. Ginger shot was bullseye as well. And pretty big. Yummm. The counter is well designed too, just like almost everything on SFO airport. Enjoyable place to get yourself a nice drink.
Located in SFO in the International terminal. Black Point Cafe was great! They have a great selection of pastries, sandwiches, bottled drinks, tea, coffee, espresso drinks, and cold brew. The service was friendly. My cold brew was delicious! The brownie I got was moist and delicious. I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve only ever had their blueberry muffin and every time I am near this shop I pick one up! It’s soft, crunchy and fluffy!

Grabbed a quick bite before our departure. Food was good and the ingredients tasted very fresh. Definitely recommend the Dirty Chai👍

This would be the First cafe that you see when you enter the International terminal A and staffs were very friendly but the food is average. I ordered bagel and cream cheese it was below average.
International travel is always filled with challenges. Finding something to eat at airports is a big one especially if you are going all day. The A gates don't have many options after 11pm. Black Point to the rescue. Still, 16 bucks for smashed bacon and egg sandwich seems like a "take it or leave it" option. Would I come back? Magic 8 Ball says: Not likely.
Decently fast service, but not worth the price. Typical trash airport food with crazy price tags. 5.95 for a bagel with butter, and a "fresh fruit cup". The fruit cup was a joke, barely any fruit in it. The bagel was alright nothing special.

Rudest til operator ever with an attitude. Cappuccino was too hot and undrinkable. Cookie was good though.
Horrible customer service, Filipina woman working register 05/13/25 couldn't be bothered to get off her phone texting and take my order. Prices on most baked goods aren't labeled either so you must trust what they say .. that said, the $5.17 cookie was surprisingly good.
We ordered oat milk cappuccino and I must say it was one thing of the worst ones I have had. It was so bland with no coffee flavour. It was very watery as they had just added milk and didn’t froth it. Other places make such good oat milk cappuccino. And the price is very high but quality so poor

WORST food in SFO - AVOID!! Unquestionably the Worst food I’ve had in SFO, but priced as high or higher than the regular restaurants in the gate (Boudin, gotts etc). I’ve had burritos at gas stations that tasted better. The cheese used is of poor quality (has the consistency of glue), and is stuffed with it to fill the burrito to the point that it oozes out with each bite🤢. Shockingly priced over $14!! As I’m eating my burrito, I notice that one side is doughy, potatoes are not roasted - shocking that such poor quality outlets are even allowed in the gate 👎
They don’t mark price for pastries. The apple turnover looks nice, but tastes very disappointing… it was hard as stone… cappuccino is also terrible… wouldn’t recommend. Save your money and get a good coffee:)

The cashier/server was awfully rude, we were there around 10pm, she seemed desperate to go home, said they would only sell us what they had out there, didn’t want to prepare anything and when I kindly asked for a cup she refused to give me one, I insisted and said she’d charge me 80 cents for one and turned her back on us. Its a shame but I would never buy there again, I don’t recommend this place unless they improve their customer service.
Terrible service the man taking my order was rude, and the matcha latte tasted like nothing but watered-down matcha. Save your money and go somewhere else.
The people there are very unfriendly, they did not even bother to ask if things are to be heated, did not even bother to call when order was completed. It could be that they are over worked. Overall bad vibes.
Weak matcha. When asked if they could add more they rudely told me no. Terrible service and tasted like milk. SFO is known for being one of the best airports in the country and this coffee shop represents a stain on that image.
I ordered a chai and was thoroughly disappointed. It was extremely sweet to the point of being undrinkable. Clearly, it’s a premade mix diluted with water/milk, but the proportions are completely off, or they seriously need to switch to a better premix. To be fair, the service wasn’t bad. The woman at the counter kindly gave me extra hot water to dilute the drink and bring down the sugar content, but even that couldn’t salvage the drink. To top it off, charging customers over $9 (post tax) for this is ridiculous. I couldn’t take more than a couple of sips before tossing the whole thing in the dumpster. Absolutely not worth it.
The food was entirely cold, I had a block of cheese fully unmelted in my sandwich, and all of the meat cold
very rude employee. didn’t know if the cafe was even open in the first place since nobody was standing behind the counter . i ended up finding a guy hovered over the trash and asked him if they were open where he just looked at me and grunted… said yes . i then walked up to the front and looked at the menu and he asked if i was ready and it felt rushed. i said yes and he let out a big sigh and rolled his eyes. just an unbelievably rude experience considering i just stood there and food wasn’t even good and crazy expensive.

1$ for non-dairy milk in my brewed coffee?? Doing my duty to give poor reviews to places that up-charge people who can’t do dairy for real dairy intolerances, or people who are trying to save the planet by going plant based.
