Buster's Cheesesteak San Francisco Reviews
First time here, and the experience was awesome. I'm mexican and I tried the best birria tacos. Definitely a 10 out 10.
These guys were really, really nice. I accidentally took someone else’s quesadilla and they made him a new one and were really nice about it. Food was highly respectable. Don’t give them a hard time.
If you’re looking for a taco that won’t disappoint, this should be your first- and last stop of every night. I’ve had both, the burrito, and every other time the steak taco. The food is hot, fresh, and prepared with passion, whether it be a slow night (like now as I write this review), or when the line is double wrapped around the block. I’m on a mission to find the best tacos in SF, and Taqueria Zorro is still on my top 5.
I regularly order from taqueria Zorro and I have had nothing short but a wonderful experience. The food is always hot and delicious, there are also options for those who are vegan/vegetarian! Service is always impeccable, and catering orders are always on time. Highly recommend this place!
Great place. Their burritos are the size of 2 meals while only $13-ish. I just sit here and do work with their free WiFi daily. Great vegetarian options
I ordered catering from Taqueria Zorro, and it was fantastic! Everything arrived right on time, the portions were generous, and the food tasted amazing. You can tell they put care into every dish. This is my go-to taqueria, and I highly recommend them for both regular meals and catering — they never disappoint!
Great little taqueria place! Good food, affordable prices. I would eat here again. I loved that they had a veggie taco option on the menu.
For catering, Taqueria Zorro was 10/10. So fast and responsive via email. Tariq worked quickly and diligently to make sure that all our dietary preferences were accommodated. The food arrived perfectly on time and the staff was kind and helped me set up. Then the food itself was delicious. Each dish came in generous portions and tasted great. Feeding 30 people was made easy with Taqueria Zorro
JESUS CHRIST. As a Mexican craving actual Mexican food in the bay area, I can certify this place is legit. I don't know if it was because I was slightly drunk, but everything I got tasted HEAVENLY. My non Mexican and not so drunk friends also enjoyed their food a lot, hahaha. I got the Tacos al pastor and tried the quesabirria. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, I 100% recommend this place if you're looking for the closest to the Mexican experience I've experienced in the bay area. Also, they were open after 11.
Before that more popular spot who won’t be named moved into north beach, real ones know this was the original taqueria. Been coming here for a few years and the thing I like the most is they keep their prices fair, and unlike other places they don’t go light on the protein. They got daily deals, I normally come for the lengua torta on Thursdays. I get mine with extra meat, but it’s still very fairly priced and comes with fries too. It’s a family run joint that’s been around for a minute. I also always see the same cook there which a good sign for consistency. Overall a solid spot. They got a good salsa section, and overall offers a classic SF taqueria experience that I would recommend, especially for the neighborhood choices.
Best meal on this San Francisco trip! Loved the thematic interior and wall frescos. Order the Al Pastor super taco (with the lot), a Mexican coke and got complimentary tortilla chips and 3 small containers to hit the salsa bar! The salsa bar was fresh and beautifully presented and I tried the tomato, verde and habanero salsas. All delicious and the habanero was spicy but didn't blow my head off. My food was brought to my table which was a nice touch given this is a fast service restaurant. The portion size of the single super taco was enormous (forgive me, I'm Australian and portion sizes in USA still astonish me). The pork was tasty and tender and all the toppings went together perfectly. Staff were friendly. Sadly in Australia, we have garbage Mexican food... I wish Taqueria Zorro would consider opening a Sydney outpost so I can eat there all the time! Don't miss this place!
Came here in the early AM after a night out on the town. Conveniently located no frills Mexican joint with late night hours. Fantastic food, friendly/quick service, great prices and portions. A few little tables inside but most people order takeout. The tacos were great, and the Zorro burrito was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Late night hit this place wandering around the Columbus Street. What a way to end the day with my stomach filled to neck with the delicious Carnitas Burrito. Carnitas was so soft and chewy. The green salsa was the best among the other salsa. Wished the hot salsa to be a bit more hot.The Burritos had no cheese and avocado though.
I took the fish Taco. The fish was well cooked. Ingredients were mostly fresh. Waitress is not particularly talkative but doing all right. The inside was kinda loud and resonating, but still ok. There are sauces available and free to grab yourself. Almost everything is plastic so not the most beautiful decoration but we're here to eat :) Paid 8,17 after tax.
If you're in North beach and craving some Mexican food, this is a good option. I usually get a regular asada burrito, but if you're feeling sit down their asada plate is pretty satisfying. Their habanero salsa can be hot or miss, some days it's got good spice, other days it's mostly tomato flavor.
Ordered takeout just now and got 1 green sauce for my 6 ordered tacos. The guacamole was watered down and slimey. The tacos were ok
Terrible experience the lady at the register purposely over charged me for my burrito. She said because I was using Apple Pay they haven’t updated the prices. Than I watched other customers being charged regular price with Apple Pay. Maybe she was being unfair and racist towards me. Really bad experience
Ordered a MYO "VEGGIE" burrito. However there were ZERO veggies at all...instead, got a cold flour tortilla filled with pico de gallo and lettuce. Literally. That's it. Also specifically ordered guacamole, jalapeños, whole beans, limes, and Serrano peppers on the side. Got NONE of them with the order. Just two small containers of salsa. The entire order with the up charges, was over $18. Complete insanity. Needless to say, it was not eaten. The entire order was literally disregarded, as it all clearly noted on the order receipt. I do NOT recommend even attempting to order from here. Horrible experience and quality.
