A perfect little coffee shop in Little Italy. We found it yesterday, are back today and are already thinking about what we still need to try tomorrow. Everything we have tried was delicious, including the coffee.

I Loveeee their Greek freddo! I did ask for a bit more milk and caramel syrup for sweetening, but their coffee itself is delicious!

This place just opened up in North Beach and it is amazing! Shadi the owner was so sweet and helpful, he went above and beyond for us-his motto is to make people happy and he definitely made us happy! We got a ham and cheese croissant and a sesame bagel with cream cheese, it was outstanding. The *whipped* cream cheese is made in house and Shadi added a tomato and dill to it with a little olive oil-it was delicious *chefs kiss* The ham and cheese croissant was so fresh and just a level up from any others I’ve tried. We got an americano and latte-he added a little cinnamon and chocolate on top that was the perfect addition. The outside seating is great and the perfect spot to bask in the sun while you enjoy the incredible food and espresso. Shadi’s service and smile was the perfect way to start our day! Thank you Shadi!

North beach is saturated with cafes and pastry shops. With any new cafe opening up, it needs to be rememberable and stand out- well this cafe sure did! Wow, this wonderful corner cafe was such a pleasant surprise to stumble upon. A friend and I were on the way to another restaurant, on the hunt for a fresh bagel and pastry. We stopped in to see if they had a specific type of savory croissant. Even though they didn’t have it, they offered to make something else to satisfy our craving! We nearly said no, but I’m SO glad we decided to stay. We thought we were going to get something standard… this was far above our expectation! Shadi made us a fresh ham and cheese croissant as well a sesame bagel. The croissant was fresh, stuffed with ham! On the bagel, he added HOMEMADE whipped cream cheese along with drizzled olive oil, tomato and dill. Omg, everything was incredible! I got a large americano and my friend got a small cappuccino… perfection! Thank you, universe, for drawing us into Cafe Angolo!

A great spot for a coffee and a breakfast sandwich on a delicious bagel! If the weather is nice, sit outside at one of the tables. Perfect for people watching in North Beach.

My favorite lox bagel in the city. The place is quaint and cute. The bagel sandwiches and espresso-based drinks are very good and the oj is fresh, everything is really nicely curated and of high quality. My only critique is that the egg in the breakfast bagel and avocado bagel is boiled eggs. It feels wrong to eat a bagel with boiled eggs rather than scrambled eggs. Because of that, I will stick to the lox or prosciutto bagels. Usually the service is totes fine although it has been oddly standoffish a few times (hence 4/5 for the service overall).

Panini the one with beef wooow I mean wooow that pepper 🌶️ sauce in it , delicious 😋. People are very kind , don't expect fake McDonald's smiles here but they are kind and very careful people.

So in love with this little gem. Go on a weekday when it’s less crowded for the full ambiance. They’re so kind to my pup, and make the best mocha art. Just don’t expect that level of detail during peak rush weekend hours, but it’ll still be amazing. Thank you for existing - an integral part of local north beach living now :)

Café Angolo was a pleasant first-time stop for me. I went in a few days ago and ordered a cortado and a panini sandwich, and I enjoyed both. When I arrived, there was a short line and just one person behind the counter, which actually gave me a few minutes to look over the menu and decide. Choosing the cortado was easy; picking a sandwich took a little more thought. When it was my turn, I asked whether they could make an egg sandwich using a panini. The person helping me explained that they only had boiled eggs, which wasn’t quite what I had in mind. I asked for a recommendation instead, and he suggested one of the meat panini options. I wish I remembered the name, but whatever it was, it turned out to be a great choice. After ordering, I paid and was asked to take a seat while the food was prepared. It was a nice day, so I sat outside, sipped my cortado, and watched the steady flow of people along Columbus Avenue. When my sandwich arrived, it hit the spot. The panini was warm and satisfying, with a well-balanced mix of meat and greens—exactly what I’d been craving. Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable experience, and I’d happily stop by again when I’m in the neighborhood.

How do you create a good tasting new breakfast bagel or lox bagel without changing the formula or recipes? I don’t know but this place has the best tasting Lox and breakfast bagel on the North Beach district strip. Nice tiny cafe with no element of liberal created SF crack addicts or homeless, but a clean quaint corner all to its self so you can enjoy the food and the hip atmosphere. What true San Francisco should be like, but with an appetizing flair of an Italian cafe. The pastry’s and menu items are not over complicated and yet have a good wholesome taste. You will pay a slightly higher price but it is worth it. See the photos for yourself.

Yeah I really rate this coffee shop highly. I'm fact, it has become my favourite place to grab coffee in San Francisco. Classy, run by some really nice people. They take the time to do things right. Brunch menu includes some really tasty things. It's all highest quality. Coffee is excellent. Sitting outside on the sidewalk, the California sun - not too strong, this is San Francisco after all - watching the world go by. This is North Beach on Green street. It is my favourite area. What is my top tip? The cake is amazing. Marble cake, or coffee and walnut cake. So utterly moist, yet dense and soft, utterly delicious. The best cake I've found. And the Americans are good at cake!

Listen, I’m Turkish, so my standards for food and hospitality are naturally very high. Trust me when I say this place is the real deal. If you’re used to McDonald’s or Taco Bell, you might not get it—but if you know what real, fresh quality tastes like, you’ll love it. The panini (tost) is incredible, packed with meat and actually satisfying. The staff are genuinely warm in a Mediterranean way, not that fake 'fast food' friendly. Don't listen to the 'Coca-Cola and fries' crowd—this is proper food.

Best coffee drinks in the city. Best flat white I've ever had. Try their specialty coffee drinks with cardamom. Excellent selection of pastries and eats with something that will definitely hit the spot (pan au chocolate? got it. ube croissant? got it. lemon bars? got it). Lots of outdoor seating. Don't miss this wondrous café in North Beach. Restroom for patrons inside the shop.

We stumbled across this cage 2 years ago visiting from Melbourne, Australia. We returned again this December & specifically tracked it down again as was the best coffee of our whole trip. It has been a challenge finding amazing coffee over here for us but this was stand out! We decided to both have bagels with our coffee too and was not disappointed. Thank you for the delicious breakfast & the best coffee! ❤️

Panini word in their menu is not describing it correctly, it is giant super panini. Maan their bread is special I their ingredients are well selected . I was thinking to eat two of it but I couldn't... Top notch quality food and really really delicious. If you are from Mediterranean, you will like it.

My favorite café in North Beach! The owner and staff are always so friendly, and the food is amazing. It’s the perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy a coffee whether it’s a sunny or rainy day. The outdoor seating area is great. Usually one person working so there may be a wait but it’s worth it!

Such a great little breakfast spot in North Beach! The service is outstanding and everything we tried (two different mornings) was excellent. The breakfast bagel sandwiches are so good, very fresh and generous portions. And the coffee is excellent as well. We had read online that along the Powell-Mason cable car line there was another place close by with the best coffee in town… that place was a huge disappointment! Especially compared to Cafe Angolo, this place is sooo much better in all aspects. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience of genuinely good humanity here. I had a business coffee meeting during the day here because of which I needed to carry my laptop backpack. After that I picked up a sandwich (which was scrumptiously awesome) from the next door deli which js also owned by the same owner, and had it at the table just outside of the cafe. Then had to rush to another meeting in the South Bay. Well into the night, around 10pm I realized had left my backpack at that outside table. The cafe was closed. I still hurried back all the way to the deli, with only the slightest ever hope of finding anything. The moment I told the owner about the mishap, he greeted me with a smile, took his keys out, and opened the cafe to show me my backpack neatly kept aside after they had packed up the outside tables from the day. Finding all my stuff after having left them out on the street for almost an entire day at late night was nothing short of an absolute miracle.

Coffee is great, but I’m pretty disappointed by croissants. I think the most upsetting thing was that I was told the pastry is fresh and it was not. I bought it around 8:40 AM. I doubt that it was enough for it to become that chewy and moist. When I buy a pastry for $7+ I expect similar to Arsicault level. And yeah, I have a list of places for the best pastries in the city and this is definitely not going to be there.

Great sunny corner to relax and people watch. Plastic wicker woven chairs are supremely comfortable. Coffee is a tad expensive $4.02 for a large but you gain the chance to glimpse a famous google reviewer; krishin at work. I hope annie ernaux is tteating you well brother.

This small cafe looked fabulous (that chandelier!) but after a long wait I received a flavorless cappuccino made with scalded milk, and the pan au chocolat tasted day-old. The service was pleasant, but not the quality Italian espresso drink I was hoping for.

When I was asking questions about the iced drinks that I had never heard of in my life before, the man at the register was clearly getting annoyed. I order an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The iced coffee was good. The breakfast sandwich was appalling. The worst breakfast sandwich I have ever had in my life and paid $13 for it. I guess it’s normal to hard boil the eggs rather than scramble or fry them for some people but I have never seen that in my life before and it tasted awful. The special aioli sauce they put on the hard boiled eggs made it worse. Maybe make how you prepare the eggs more apparent to the customer?
