Wonderful little cafe worth seeking out. Lots of free parking. Acme Bakery breads. Nice wait staff. The grilled cheese with pesto and soup is delicious. Lovely patio seating area with million dollar views of SF and the Bay. The “parrots of Telegraph Hill” were circling the trees during my visit. Cafe is connected to the Randall, a free kid-friendly natural history museum. A must see for families with kids visiting The Bay. The museum and cafe are next to Corona Heights Park if you want to climb the hill for even more expansive views of the City.

Go for the museum, stay for the food and revisit for the food. Yes! Absolutely mouth watering food and awesome service. Coffee was great. Egg Salad on toast was great, special spring grilled cheese was great, soup was great and chia pudding was great too. I will be returning for food.

Honey, let me spill the tea on Café Josephine! This queen gives it five sparkling stars, and that's no exaggeration! Now let me tell you, the views from that terrace are more breathtaking than my waist cincher. You can see all of San Francisco laid out before you like a fabulous glittery gown. It's a feast for the eyes, darling! And don't even get me started on those ceramic cups! They're so beautiful, I was half tempted to sneak one into my purse. (Just kidding, sisters! This queen doesn't steal... anymore.) The latte art was pure perfection - that barista must have arms of steel to make designs that intricate. If you haven't been to Café Josephine, you better sashay your way over there pronto. It's the perfect spot to spill the tea with your girls, have a kiki, or just feel your oats while sipping on something delicious. Trust and believe, this place is a ten across the board!

Hidden gem near Corona Heights park. Cute cafe with amazing city views. A variety of drinks and light lunch choices. I tried the egg salad toast and wasn’t disappointed. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in the neighborhood.

Have your Snowy Plover - a refreshing sparkling coffee drink - in hand for the view. Don’t forget a rice krispy treat. That’s what we did for a wonderful afternoon

Such a special spot. Walking up the hill to come here for a tuna melt and a jamaíca (hibiscus) agua fresca has become a ritual of mine ever since I discovered this gem of a neighborhood spot. The vibe at the adjoining museum is lovely, and the VIEWS from their patio and museum grounds are stunning. They put a lot of care into their food, and it always feels like a treat to get to enjoy something truly delicious from such a cute and small little spot. I’ve had some incredible seasonal salads from them, and don’t sleep on their homemade seasoned castelvetrano olives with orange peel and garlic. They aren’t a budget option, but the quality you get for what you pay is as high as you could hope, and their setting makes for the cutest lunch and coffee dates.

Gorgeous views while you sip your tea and coffee and munch on home made Rice Krispie treats! What could be better? Super friendly staff and outdoor patio that’s on the east side so less windy that usual. If the museum is open that’s another free treat as you can see the birds and critters. Such a fun place to grab a snack and drink.

We enjoyed the vegan toast, a veggie sandwich, banana bread, and oat milk lattes. Everything was delicious and made with such care. The views and gardens are beautiful. Such a great little place to grab some lunch with our kids before heading to the museum.

Incredible food and coffee in a beautiful setting! We were lucky enough to have a gorgeous red-shouldered hawk perch right near our table as we ate. It's so fun to peek inside the Randall Museum from the shop and see all the wildlife! Can't wait to come back :)

My nonprofit held an event at the Randall Museum and catered through Cafe Josephine and Sahara. The experience was fantastic. Sahara absolutely knows how to cater an event such as this which gave us great comfort as we were planning. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I have eaten lunch at Cafe Josephine since and have always had a delicious meal and very pleasant experience!

Amazing little cafe within the museum. No real seats inside except for a bench, but many tables outside with shade umbrellas and spectacular views of the city. Serves Andytown coffee. Staff are very nice and clearly care about serving good toasts, sandwiches, along with bread, prepared salads, and small snacks.

There is no doubt that this is a fantastic cafe at one of the most beautifully breathtaking locations in San Francisco. I just found it odd that there was absolutely no kid friendly food, given that it is in a museum frequented by children. Would it be that difficult to add a couple of kids items to the menu?
