I always love coming back to El Honduras Resto. Every dish we order is consistently delicious, and you can really taste the authenticity of traditional Honduran cuisine. Whenever I’m in the city, my Honduran boyfriend makes sure to bring me here, and it has truly become my favorite restaurant. The flavors are so rich and genuine that each visit feels like a special experience.
Absolutely delicious! I got the Desayuno Típico - the steak came with it was hella tender and flavorful. I’ll be coming back.
Delicious Breakfast! Baleadas on point!!! Soo good and reasonably priced. Very home feel vibes, as if your own family member is cooking for you.

Had breakfast here and a good dose of nostalgia. Reminded me of having breakfast in Honduras when I was a kid

My dad and I go, at least, once a month to this restaurant. The service and the food are super recommended!
A Honduran friend took me here for the first time and I loved it. The menu is varied and has something for everyone. The server changed a dish to make it vegetarian for me. The queso frito is great as are the plantains. We had a tasty tamarind agua fresca. Service was quick. I will definitely return.
Food was very good, nice portion sizes, comes with sides you don't expect. Didn't love the nanje juice, but it was a new fruit unlocked. The Mariscos soup was amazing. Also got the fried rice with chicken and shrimp, and a pupusa, both great.
Great neighborhood Honduran spot. Both the fried chicken with plantains and the spicy shrimp were on point. All made to order (including tortillas) so a bit of a wait is expected. Good for groups of any size. Accepts credit cards. Central location to both mission and Noe. What more could you want.
I've eaten here a 4 times in the last 5 or so years. Each time I tried something different and ate in the restaurant most times. The food is tasty, well proportioned, authentic, and consistent. The service is similarly consistent, kind, and chill. The ambiance is also very cool, relaxed, and clean.

I love this restaurant. Its food has a good taste. Fried chicken with green banana slices (like fries stile) is delicious 😋🍗🍗💖

Good, central location close to Bud stops. Limited hours afternoon and evening only.
I always have the Sopa de Res, which has lots of beef and different veggies like small corn on the cob, carrots, yuca, zucchini. With rice on the side. I also added one pupusa of Cheese and zucchini, Service is ok. Place can be cold, noisy and loud with the TV showing games ⚽ 🏀⚾️🏉🎾 but the food makes up for it.
Food is awesome, however you might have to wait for awhile to get t your food to your table. I wonder why 🤔 though? There seems to be a lot of people working. Maybe they prep the food as when is ordered. I don't know... I just like to go back here because food is really authentic Honduras food.

I went here and waited around an hour to get my food (I only ordered around 3 small dishes). I noticed that multiple people came in after me and got their food before me. Not sure if I’m reading into things but I noticed every other customer spoke Spanish and I didn’t, not sure if that’s the reason why.
Waiting 1hr for my food. It came wrong. No apologies
I ordered breakfast and it was awful, I don't recommend it.
My experience was so bad I felt compelled to leave a one star review for the safety of the other customers. When I went several months ago, I had a good delicious meal. When I went recently, I received what tasted like supermarket plantain chips topped with takeout fried chicken and mayonnaise, and one realized it halfway through the meal. Later at home, I ended up vomiting it up. Not sure what has happened, if they had a shortage of cooking staff the second time. But I have lost trust in the business for serving me safe food.
Wouldn’t recommend as the service provided by the waitresses is nothing but unprofessional after placing my order not only did they laugh at my language barrier but I placed a simple order that took thirty minutes to come out food was ready but they were letting it sit on on the counter and avoided me multiple times. Grown woman acting like mean girls it’s unprofessional and not cute do better.
I went to buy some fried fish, but it looked like they'd already fried it and sent it back. It didn't look fresh, it was so bad, and the onion and beet salad was bitter; I had to throw everything away.

Food it’s not worth it and let’s not talk about customer service. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Don’t waste your money. Food is over priced too
I was really excited to come eat here very disappointed we were served our food an hour later and the people that came 30 min after us were served before us the server that was helping us went on break so we were completely ignored by the server on duty the food was good but not worth the wait and price had to put more money in the meter
Order some for pick up and when i got home it wasnt what i Order when we called they said thatvwas not her problem the food is good there but they take forever to tended to you and after you Order it takes line a hour or more for your food and they didnt even put forks in the bag
