El Salvador Restaurant San Francisco Reviews
Went today for lunch and had an amazing experience… I was craving pupusas 🫓 badly, ended up getting it plus another plate with chicarrón and yuca and it was fire! First time I try a salvadorian plate that blew my mind and taste. Bathroom was clean, atmosphere was great! Also attention was amazing! Very kind and always checking on you! Loved this place! Definitely coming back!
Just wow...totally came here by chance while on my little break from work. Food was fresh and super hot (temperature wise) and the service was very nice. Although the server couldn't speak English she was very courteous when we spoke in Spanish...just look at the yummy Huevos Rancheros I got!!!
Tasty food in a very clean and friendly environment. Really like the deep fried tilapia and the various pupusas.
I think it's a great little restaurant the employees there are nice the owner is great I think the prices are good for the neighborhood no different from other restaurants I used to go there three times two to three times a week
Content stomach, food made fresh to order. Simple family restaurant. Usually packed, sorry for empty plate shows how good it is!
Great pupusas; reminded me of being in El Salvador!

Great pupusas; reminded me of being in El Salvador!
Wonderful staff. Amazing papusas. Very friendly and clean restaurant
I had for brunch pupusas revueltas with horchata and tamarindo. And everything tasted really good. The pupusas and tortillas are hand made at the moment. I also had a fried chicken with rice and beans, and they didn’t disappoint me, everything exquisite! A really good experiencia for my first time having food from El Salvador. Note: the service is really kind.
It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here but everytime I do the pupusas are warm, fresh and served to perfection. You won’t be disappointed.
Excellent food I didn't take pictures because I inhaled everything. Friendly staff, big clean accessibility friendly bathroom.
This is my go-to place for breakfast anytime during the day the eggs are cooked to perfection all of the staff mostly speak Spanish I'm very limited on my Spanish but we work it on through and the staff is wonderfuland there's this older lady I don't know if she's the owner or the manager I met her somewhere else and she was telling me about the restaurant and I live right around the block from the restaurant so whenever I have a chance I always go

The fish soup I ate here for lunch was so good. My only problem was that the fish had a lot of bones 🦴 in it. It was still good though. The service was also friendly and the ambiance of the place was quite cute too. I very much recommend that restaurant. I give them 4 stars ⭐️
Pupusas were super cheesy delicious! The revuelta is just cheese and chicharrón, no frijol so I was a little bummed. Horchata was nice and sweet.
The pupusas were really good. For me, the curtido was lacking that vinegar bite.

No frills Salvadoran restaurant. The pupusas were well priced, 2 for $8.40 and filled generously. We also had a sweet corn tamale with creama as an app, pretty tasty.

Unfortunately, today 7/26/24 I was highly dissatisfied with this restaurants service, it is not the first time they do such unprofessional job. They charge 5 dollars for one little piece of fried dough with banana and on top of that they over charge you and get your orders wrong. Today I ordered 3 orders of 2 pupusas for 9 dollars and I was charged for 3 orders and only given 3 pupusas when I was suppose to receive 6. They constantly do that when it’s almost time to close, but we pay for the food so the least they can do is give us the right amount
Their menu says $10 and she charged me $28 and said that's the old price on the menu. Fine! The quantity was so less it was no way near $28. the food taste wasn't that good either. Please don't pay anymore than what the menu says. She's ripping off all first timers to her restaurant.
Really bad experience! First time there , I was waiting for 40 minutes, I ask the server how much long I need to wait, she didn't answer and keep walking, them I ask another person finally she said about 20 or 30 more minutes, then I told the server that she was rude and unprofessional and she said just leave if you want and don't eat, so I just paid for my drink and leave !
Terrible experience Overpriced Overrated Poor quality Bad flavor Come on, $8 for 2 pupusas with a regular flavor?? $13 for a small.side of fried beans and a couple of pieces if fried plantains?? I won't be back ever
Poor service , they took over 3 hours to get my order to me on DoorDash -,-
