The staff and chef were so accommodating to my large party of 10! We had our holiday get together here and the team really took care of us. They were all so kind, warm, and attentive. The chef delivered super tasty dishes that really pleased our group of foodies! Thank you again for hosting us. We will all definitely be back!!!
We came here for a Thanksgiving dinner and had a wonderful experience. The Chilean sea bass was perfectly cooked, the rack of lamb was tender and flavorful, and both the butternut squash soup and Brussels sprouts salad were fresh and comforting. Service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy for the holiday. A lovely Thanksgiving meal overall.
We went here for my father-in-law's birthday and he's got really high standards for food, especially steak. They accommodated a large group like ours too. We had 10 people but they stills squeezed us in and we didn't feel cramped. The space is small though, cozy. Food was excellent and steak was well seasoned. The other sides were good too. Id bring people here if they were visiting. Plus, they had an opening for a large party around the holiday times. That really helped us.
We had an amazing dinner here. Ambiance is warm and inviting. This family-owned restaurant doesn’t disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised with the bonus of the chef serving the dishes and explaining the preparation and cooking! Excellent wine selection! Highly recommended!
Service was great and food was delicious! Ambiance was on point. My fav appetizer was the jumbo prawn and fav entree was king salmon. But everything else was bomb as well, including dessert.
Food was great overall. Atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from a neighborhood restaurant like this. Service was extremely friendly and inviting and one of the main reasons to come back. My standout dishes: Beet Salad Short Ribs Momos
What a great new restaurant to welcome to the neighborhood! We tried several appetizers, soup, and an entrée, and everything was great. They have some unique dishes as well as twists on more traditional dishes. Everything was so fresh and yummy! We will be back!
What a new gem of a restaurant this will be in Noe Valley! Grand opening on August 29th 🎊 Delicious global fusion flavors and great quality ingredients. We don’t live in Noe Valley anymore but will definitely be back soon!
This was a lovely experience. The service and the food were both incredible. I will definitely be back.
Tasty food, beautiful presentation, and friendly people!
We had an amazing meal at Ingredients. The staff were great and the wine list is top notch. Easily the best food in Noe Valley.
Went their for dinner last night, the staff was super welcoming, especially Laxmi! Laxmi recommended amazing dishes, Noe Valley is lucky to have Ingredients. Will definitely be back soon!
What a great addition to the neighborhood! The chefs, the staff, everyone, is incredibly kind and cool. The food is excellent. Selection, excellent. They have something for everyone. I’m so happy they moved in. A+++
Must tries: steak, dumplings, risotto. Even the spaghetti on the kids menu is worth the visit
Service was excellent. Met friends that I had not seen in awhile.. the staff was wonderful and the food and service was excellent
Excellent food and staff is super friendly. Definitely a new neighborhood favorite. We just came back the second time this week.
Such a wonderful dining experience. The food was fantastic and the staff was incredible.
Very talented chef, extremely pleasant service. All of the food was delicious!
Best food. Camron Best server. Try the shrimp Ghambas, Badel ko Sakewa and Mango Sorbet
Best lack of lamb ever ever. The kind service, the enormously delicious place.... What a gem.
Fantastic food, very excited to have such a great new spot with amazing flavors in the neighborhood
Delicious food and incredible service. The octopus is a must try!
Highly recommend. Excellent food, subtile cuisine.
The service was amazing and the food was delicious! I highly recommend it.
Super cozy atmosphere, great food and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend!
A hidden gem in Noe Valley. If you want high end eats in San Francisco without the eye watering prices, Ingredients delivers. Four of us wandered in on a rainy Tuesday and were surprised to find a world class Bistro hidden away off the beaten track. We ordered the half chicken, which is brined for 24 hours before serving, the lamb rack, Caesar salad with chicken (replete with anchovies and freshly made dressing), and a beef short rib special. The chicken in both dishes was succulent and delicious, the lamb rack delivered amazing flavor and was cooked to perfection, while the short rib melted off the bone and could have been eaten with a spoon. The wine list contains hidden gems as well, the Napa Bordeaux blend is highly recommended for the meat dishes, while the Sauvignon Blanc went perfectly with the chicken.
The Ingredients team was absolutely amazing! They did a fantastic job taking care of our large party, putting together a delicious menu, and making sure we felt extremely well cared for throughout the entire experience. The staff’s extraordinary service truly stood out and made our holiday gathering extremely memorable. Thanks Ingredients team!!!
Loved that the food was very comforting and tasty. The staff were all so kind and attentive. We went as part of a large group and the chef personally came out to make sure we were all taken care of. Would recommend!
Had octopus, momo and porkbelly as appetizers and grilled chicken, short ribs and mushroom risotto as main. Paired with Silverado Merlot and finished with Sorbet and port wine. Everything was really delicious and the service was great too! Would love to visit again
Delicious creative food, especially the tuna appetizer and the mango sorbet. Super friendly staff (including the chef!) The ambiance in the dining room is lovely, but the bathroom could use dimmer lights and a better lock.
Wow! This restaurant really is special. The chefs are amazing and really understand what it takes to make a good meal. The hospitality adds to the atmosphere by ten fold. I really enjoyed the Newari style dumplings. They were a perfect blend of savory and sour. Pockets of flavor! Be sure to try the mashed potatoes which are hidden in the side orders. This really is a remarkable restaurant. I glad they joined the neighborhood and can’t wait to see them grow.
I am simply… blown away 😱 The food was excellent, especially the momo appetizer and summer stone fruit salad! This restaurant is a perfect blend of all cuisines and light on your stomach even after many dishes. I appreciate all the hard work that went into providing amazing service and delicious meals. Everyone was especially friendly, thank you for taking the time to chat with us even though it was busy. The ambiance was cozy, comfortable, and pleasant; I LOVED the calming colors and environment! A must visit if you are in the city.
Food was good. From fresh baked bread to specials of the day and their freshly made dessert everything was very good. The service was even better. Friendly staff. Gave good recommendations. Rhis place is a quiet neighborhood restaurant out of TV shows.
I have walked by a few times waiting for this restaurant to open and finally had the chance to give it a try last Friday. They are still going through their soft-opening phase, so you never know quite what to expect, but the food really was exceptionally prepared and elegantly plated. I had the Soup of the Day which was cream of asparagus with truffle oil - velvety smooth, perfectly seasoned. For an entree, I had the daily special of local halibut pan seared and served over a sweet corn and English pea succotash with blistered cherry tomatoes and a saffron cream sauce - beautiful sear on the fish, perfectly cooked, and again, perfectly seasoned. I ended up coming back the next night with a friend who had also mentioned wanting to try it and again, it did not disappoint. We had the Momo which were served in a delicious warm-spiced brown gravy, a steak and prawn "surf and turf" steak cooked to a perfect medium, and I ordered the halibut again because it was so delicious. Both nights the chef came out to ask about the meal and his plans for the restaurant. Really cool guy and I am absolutely rooting for him and this restaurant. Really nothing else quite like it in this part of town - elegant but not fussy and reasonably priced. Great for a date night or any time you want to treat yourself to a great meal.
Run, don't walk, to this amazing restaurant before it blows up and everyone and their cousin goes there! The food is amazingly fresh, creative, delicious and awesome! The atmosphere is comfortable and elegant. The service was warm, friendly and attentive. We went for a birthday celebration and we were extremely pleased and impressed by the whole experience. We had two appetizers: Octopus and Delight of East Asia, the Surf and Turf entree, which we chose to pair with mushy peas, and ice cream and GF apple pie for dessert. Every dish was absolutely amazingly delicious. Wines by the glass were very reasonably priced and tasty. Would give it six stars if it were an option!
Ingredients in San Francisco is a hidden gem—serving creative fusion dishes made with organic, ethically sourced ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, the service warm and attentive, and every plate—from tender octopus to flavorful lamb—shows real culinary artistry. A must-visit for food lovers seeking global taste with local heart.
The best meal I've had in a while. The service was attentive and friendly, our waiter Cameron recommended his favorite dishes and those didn't disappoint. The food was excellent, flavorful and well balanced our favorites were the branzino, the seared ahi, and the carne asada. After complementing the food we even got to meet the owners and chef and learned more about them. The wine was reasonably priced and complemented the food nicely. Overall a regular dinner turned into a 3 hour experience of great ambiance, food, wine and a great conversation.
My sister and I came here for drinks. We got bread. The manager and servers were SO friendly and such wonderful people. We came around 4:30pm so it wasn't super busy but it was a lovely, quaint, beautiful place. The prices are reasonable. I will be updating once I eat here. We did munch on their delicious bread
Ingredients is a new neighborhood gem! I went with a friend and had a wonderful experience. We went straight for the entrees, but next time I'll definitely sample some apps - especially the momos! I had the curry brined half chicken, which had just the right touch of Nepalese flare. My friend had the herb encrusted rack of lamb and loved it. The portions were generous and they have a very nice selection of wines. The staff are gracious and attentive, but not smothering. I found the value to be excellent for the quality. They're also family friendly with a kid's menu and early opening time, perfect for Noe Valley!
This was the friendliest , most amazing , most memorable dining experience I have had in SF ! Food was really amazing ( all the menu is excellent ) and the 2 chefs came to greet us. Thank you again to the whole team. Ingredients literally made me want to go visit Nepal !
We came for dinner on the first day of their grand opening and boy did they blow us out of the water! I was not expecting everything to be so good! We can genuinely say that we loved all of their dishes, desserts and wine. All the plates were well balanced and delicious. Some of my favorites were the beet salad, tuna tataki, carne asada and branzino. The pricing also felt very reasonable for the quality and portions. The staff and chefs were also extremely friendly and generous. Our waiter Cameron was the best - so so friendly and had the best recommendations. Definitely a gem in the neighborhood and we will be coming back!
Husband and I ate here a few weeks back during their "soft opening," so my review reflects that experience and understanding some of the nuances and dynamics were still being worked out. Menu is positioned as fusion, but we had a hard time making selections since it seemed somewhat sporadic/electic/random, at least to us. Chicken momo was delicious. We almost ordered a second plate! The Delight of East Asia was delicious - just needed more tapioca crisps. Burger needed some seasoning and perhaps either a larger patty or a smaller bun. Service was very knowledgeable and attentive, until they weren't, but we understand they were still working out their rhythm and approach especially as more parties came through the door! Glad to have a new option in the neighborhood and we will be back!
We attended the grand opening last night and had the most memorable experience. As a group of 6 we tried 5 different apps and 3 mains, all the dishes were made with such great ingredients and flavors! It's hard to pick favorites, but I must say the octopus was fantastic, the momos were so juicy, and the tuna was very fresh. Highly recommend the carne asada, cooked to perfection! The chefs came out after dinner to hang and they were so generous and sweet with us, sharing their experiences... we closed out the restaurant with them and the staff! If I could give more stars I would!
We had a really delightful dinner at Ingredients. After sharing delightful gambas, the Carne Asada was so good that I had to order a glass of red wine to honor it. It's all about flavors. The menu is varied, each dish is its own world. High end gastronomy. We met the Chef, and he's the real deal, no surprise. The place itself hasn't changed much since the last owners and it didn't need to: it was already amazing. But the food... My wife and I have a crush on this new place.
Great food, atmosphere and customer service. Highly recommend them. Best burger and steak in town. The wine is amazing and lots of good quality wine. So glad they are open, we are definitely coming back.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Noe Valley. The neighborhood needs a modern American restaurant with an Asian fusion twist. Only thing better than the food is the staff. They went out of their way to make you feel at home.
Still has that new restaurant smell, lol. We had a very tasty Branzino last night. Great wine list with both low and higher priced options. Friendly staff and nice design.
Such a vibrant but calming atmospheric restaurant in the quieter noe valley. South Asian fusion with a dash of Americas favorites. This is going to be the spot to make memories before it gets too much attention.
The quality of the ingredients was exceptional, and the preparation, service, and atmosphere were equally impressive. Everything was excellent, and the lamb was the best I have had in years. Chef Shuk is truly amazing.
Ingredients with love.. one of the best Asian fusion food I have had. The Nepalese pork belly is top class, the momo was wonderfully unique. The atmosphere is very posh and clean. We love it and would definitely come back.
