Clooney's Pub Alameda Reviews
Great local hangout. Super old-school vibe, I had a perfect vodka martini.
The food is great bartenders are wonderful Good Vibes great crowd
I love Clooney's it's a fun place and kind people come their. I love the food and atmosphere.
always a great place to stop by anytime, especially for the 9er game
Service is excellent even when they are busy. The place has a good atmosphere.
Great dive bar with very reasonable prices. Sports on the T Vs and a pool table.
Go here now and then to have a nice cold beer with my son
Great place to relax, watch a few games on the tube and slam some coldies.
It was great. The bartenders Steve, Kim, and Michelle are the best.
A dive bar experience. The bartender is 86 years old and is a hoot.
My goodness, went here on thanksgiving after intentionally getting stuck in the rain down town, just to find one of the best steaks, on thanksgiving lol, oh, not to mention the turkey bird sandwich, grilled swiss cheese, aaaasssk about it, jajaja, silly rabbit, why are you reading this;p, any way, this , place turned the night up and has good memories,
Great music, good people
The customers here always pick the best music to play
Local bar that opens early and has good food for patrons. I enjoy coming here as I feel welcome and usually know one or two folks from the neighborhood.
Bartenders are sweet, and the typical regulars are nice. One of the best dives in the hood for sure.
Very cool they open at 7:00 a.m. not 6:00 a.m. most likely 7:02 a.m. but they'll be changing hours back to 6:00 a.m. have a Heineken and a Jameson.
A True neighborhood bar.... Typical drinks at a "dive bar" per say... They have an excellent selection of beers on tap that I appreciate. The last of the True True of SF...
Nicole was the best bartender, I’ve never felt more at home… a great bar to start or end your night
Great dive bar, has a pool table and a no frills kitchen. If you’re into unpretentious drinking, I’d give it a whirl.
Great drinks. The bartender gave me free Fri is with cool conversation. Only problem was a drunk lady in our conversation with nothingness
Great place, bar tenders on point super friendly place. Don't let the outside stop you! This place is warm and friendly on the inside
Chill dive with pool, and LIAR’S DICE! Ask the bartender and maybe they’ll play dice with you. Also some books in the corner. Good local spot.
Solid dive, bartender is chill and the pool table is clean. Free snacks and dog friendly.
Usually just come for the beer. Pool table got broken. Came thru on a day they were selling kebabs outside. Hella good 👍
Different!!?? Who's Fergus and Michael irish band .... great music ...good stuff... Danny lion great

Great mix of locale. Would be the classic Mission dive bar if it weren't for the phenomenal food being served up in the Galley, which in my opinion just makes it an even better dive bar! Cheap drinks, amazing bartenders (especially Tara, Kim, and Monty), expensive but fun juke box, and a great place to watch sports!
Typical dive. Kinda unfriendly, pool table, locals make up the majority, no food but chips, cash friendly, low range of drinks. I personally love it, but don't expect much more than a no frills dive bar.
We only came in to hydrate with a beer and a coke but the conversation, the ambiance, the music was great and we plan to come again whenever we are noin the neighborhood :)
Transport yourself back to the 1950’s, this place has Class written all over it. The bartenders get ups are on point, the lighting is fantastic and the decor is mid century to the T. I like the devils at the bar you can strike a match on. Superior mixed drinks
Seriously a great place! Everyone is welcome. If you have an attitude leave it at the door. For A dive bar everyone takes care of eachother. Love everyone there you will too. :)
Super chill dive bar, patronised by many locals. Drinks are cheap and the bartender is super nice when we were there! Quite a fair bit of craft beers served on tap too!
My coworkers & I went about a month ago. Best little dive bar ever. Patrons were so friendly. $7 margaritas, good food, great juke box, lots of music to choose from. The only downside is, it's cash only!
This place is an example of preservation through neglect. It’s perfect. One pool table where regulars hustle new comers, one modern jukebox where the most played song is WAR’s Don’t Let No One Get You Down, one old gentle dog with her own chair, and well whiskey is $5 and they pour DEEP. Don’t forget to tip the bartender! Whenever I’m in the city best believe I’m having a good time at Clooney’s
One of the best dive bars I’ve been to. I have become a regular here because the staff and patrons are all so great. I’ve had the best and most ridiculous conversations here. Mind you, cash only.
It’s a local dive bar. Friendly people, friendly bartenders. But again: dive bar, sometimes there’s drunk annoying people; act nice you’ll be treated nice, act rude and you’ll get the same. Cash only.

My longtime hangout and legendary "old man" San Francisco bar. A good place to learn about the city from people who are actually from there.
Old school bar. With a round center. Pool table. You want a chill dive bar doesn't get better than this.
It's a good place to meet and talk about what's been going on in the world of life sports bar and food pool table the Bar is a big round table it's been in the same place for years my. Dad when there that's been 40 years as far as know
Pretty cool mission dive bar with cheap drinks. With so many bars these days being themed, it's really nice to see one that is just a regular old "corner bar". Has a pool table and a big wrap around bar.
This is where the locals finishing a late shift come for an adult beverage in the morning (the bar opens at 6am) and locals drop in to see friends. The bartenders are awesome and everyone is friendly to an outsider that walks in. I especially love that it opens at 6am and it's a drink I'm looking for in the morning hours.
Cozy dive bar that draws its appeal from loyal locals. Located far enough from the heart of the Mission district, one can escape the stale start-up atmosphere that has amassed over the years. No talks of passion-projects, synergy, or app development. Bring your stories of failed attempts at human interaction, that time you were mugged by Mexican police officers, etc. Oh, and mind what colors you wear. I gave four stars because they ran out ginger beer.

This is my 1st michelada here and it wasn't to bad. Jess was great.
Seems to be just the Good Ol neighborhood place to be pool table to play good conversation from the residence good service in real good food go figure all in all just saying good
Good spot for a beer and lunch! The cook is super sweet!
Super divey (so, cheap well cocktails). Also an app to control the jukebox. If you want a break from the hip bars around the city, this is a good start.
I asked for a Baileys and the bartender had to go into the basement for 45 minutes to find it. He acted like he had never heard of such a drink! The Baileys was super super strong however. I was staggering on the sidewalk. But since I have excellent cross tolerance that was just fine.
I feel like you know that you're getting with Clooney's. Friendly, grubby dice bar. Last time I visited there were almost a dozen people inside drinking at 13:00 on a Friday. Multiple TVs playing different things, from soccer to black and white movies. OK beer selection; no top shelf liquor, but sometimes a Bulleit Rye hits the spot.

Pictures are not accurate. Food is ordered separately and not from a waiter or at bar. Older lady bartender is not friendly. Vibe is unfriendly for out of towners. I left without getting anything.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I cannot emphasize how horrible my experience here was. If you are a young woman, POC, or anything other than a middle-aged white republican DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY. Please don’t support this business.
The bartender seems focused on forcing you out at 1:20 a.m. so she can take care of her "social" needs as opposed to allowing you to remain in until 2:00 a.m. when the bar is allegedly supposed to remain open until?
