Jackalope San Francisco Reviews
I came here last night with some friends, and the vibe was just perfect. They had some 90's throwback music on a Sunday night, and it wasn't crowded. Love the low lit atmosphere and decor! For any gamers, there's some arcades that we saw. We hungout at the high tables and our server was so sweet. She surprised us with some fun cocktails! We'd definitely come back.
This is such a cool bar, HIGHLY recommend to tourists and locals alike. Good prices on highballs and beer, free wifi, super nice staff, great 90s oldie music, and they have a sort of loft at the back where you can go upstairs and play an old Super Nintendo with your friends. AWESOME bar.
Just a killer bar. Drinks are always solid, the atmosphere is always fun and the bartenders make sure to keep it a welcoming spot. Trivia nights are a must. Definitely worth checking out—just get there early if you want a good seat!
Great local bar, various deals during the week on drinks. Mules on tap, Russian, Irish and Mexican, all are really delicious. Also check out their Plinko Drinko game if you want something random to drink.
I have been raving about this place for weeks, so figured I should write a review. I live in Denver but have a jackalope obsession, so this has been on the list a while and I was very excited to learn it was near my hotel on a recent trip. I spent HOURS here having an absolute blast. Javi is the perfect bartender/host- he was super helpful/attentive, so much fun and introduced me to some great people at the bar! The plinko drinko game was hilarious- no ragrets with the hand grenade I had to suck down (thank gawd for high altitude drinking chops). Great beer selection for the number of taps they had, too. And of course the decor was everything I could have asked for as a 'lope enthusiast. I wanted to come back but ran out of time. Next time, Jackalope.
My fave spot on Polk St. Met the queen herself, and the tiny Asian was giving. I came alone— and left feeling like my dad never did. I’m moving to sf. Peace out I’m obsessed
Jackalope is a small but mighty bar. The space is minimal so it'll get cozy, but they have a few elements that make it stand out from the rest. First, there's a crow's nest area that you should take over as soon as you get there. They have a couple of screens where you can play old-school video games including Duck Hunt. For $11, you can play Plinko-Drinko with the best prize being a bottle of champagne IMHO. I rented out the bar for my birthday, and it was a lot of fun! I don't even remember them charging me a minimum, but this was pre-pandemic. If you're hitting up a concert at The Regency, it's a great place to pre-game.
The best place/bar in the city for a fun and lively night. Trivia Thursdays are the highlight of our week. The drinks are super reasonable and the music and vibes are really really fun. The bartenders are great and soo friendly. Javi is our favorite part of the whole experience. 100000000/10.
A rare blend of a party and laid back atmosphere. Games up stairs, cool music and bartenders down stairs. I've been there twice trying to meet one of the bartenders and both time I've meet some cool people who were also drinking there. If I lived closer, this would absolutely be the Friday night meet and drink place.
Awesome bartender, decent atmosphere (brown-red, low-key hunting references, massive wooden rabbit head with frigging antlers in the middle of the back wall), low prices. Good for chatty folks, groups, and lonely tired travelers. Absolutely would recommend!
Cool post show vibes at 11.00PM. Friendly staff, good music, chill crowd.
Friendly bartender, perfect for late night drinks. Cozy atmosphere, with kitchy cool wall art. Located near or in the tenderloin, but the outside is clean and the regulars are chill.
Held a fundraiser here and it was a blast! Guest bartending for our group help raise a bunch of money, and it was a really great time. Staff was very cool and helpful with answering all the questions, great people! You have to play PLINKO DRINKO so fun
Was here for the warriors last game on 6-12-17 and this place was a blast, the bar handed out Champaign bottles to pop off when they won, really awesome atmosphere and the staff was really fun and involved.

I was too surprised to see the Duck Hunt ( A week before I dreamed of playing it). and other Nintendo games here. Finding Duck hunt is really really hard because if you know that tech doesn't work in modern TVs . I loved it.

Beware: The bar tenders will overcharge your tip! They assume you won't remember the final amount, and they add the tip as per their wish. I had a bad experience, hence tipped 10% (because the bar tender was rude). I took a picture of the receipt because I suspected he might do something like this - and I had guessed right - the amount on my card was higher than what I had tipped. Edit: Adding additional photo with the GPS tag of the previous photo, showing indeed it was at your establishment. With tip added, the amount was 21.53 -> So you may search for that amount instead of 19.53 (The base amount).

This place is ruining the neighborhood. Blasting loud music late at night on weekdays. Many of the residents in the neighborhood have complained, have asked the owner to turn it down (the owner is incredibly rude), and have started taking legal action through our fair city.
The service was really bad and it was my first time there and never before have I been treated so poorly. They had two bad tenders there last night that were rude and yelling and racist towards me. I’ll never step foot in that place again and if you’re African American, I wouldn’t either because I’m sure you’ll get the same treatment if they’re working.
Second time this month I walked in to have a quick drink and the dark haired girl bartender didn't bother to acknowledge me or get me a cocktail just kept talking to her friends. Even tho I stood there with cash in my hand for ten minutes. The other dude bartender on Sunday is cool. Used to be a cool spot. Won't come there anymore even tho I live down the , street.
