Piccolo Italia San Francisco Reviews
Great pizza, great cheese-steak, great dudes, challenging location but not if you're down by law and you know your way around.
One of the best pizza spots in the city. I don't know what they put in their sauce but it really makes a difference from all the other by the slice pizza spots in the TL
They have slices ready from vegetarian to chicken, combo and everything in between. Very yummy 😋
We ordered a veg pizza, garlic bread, and onion rings. All three were really good, and the people were very friendly. It's hard to find such friendly service in a big city, so I would definitely go there again.
Fantastic late-night find! I was starving, and the staff went above and beyond—they started making my pizza before I even got there, so it was ready right when I arrived. I asked for less cheese, and they nailed it. The pesto base was super flavorful, and the pizza was piled high with fresh veggie toppings. Absolutely hit the spot. If you’re searching for a reliable late-night pizza spot, this is the one. I might have to come back during the day too! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 Recommended dishes: Pesto Veggie Pizza Noise level: Quiet, easy to chat Vegetarian options: Dedicated vegetarian menu/section
We had such an amazing experience at Piccolo. Not only is the food fantastic, the wonderful atmosphere and fantastic service that Zabit provided really made this a must do for San Francisco trips in the future. Zabit, thank you for making our experience special and fun - we appreciate you taking such wonderful care of us. ❤️
Great late-night spot! I was really hungry, and the staff went out of their way to help — they started preparing my pizza while I was on the way, so it was ready when I arrived. I requested less cheese, and they delivered exactly that. The pesto base was flavorful, and the pizza was loaded with veggie toppings. It seriously slapped. If you’re looking for a solid late-night pizza place, this is it. Might be worth a visit during the day too!
$5 for cheese pizza slice. But other than that, this place is beyond authentic and I admire the different lifestyles who come in and drop by to try some of their pizza. The workers treat everyone with respect, and despite the small dinning area, everyone is able to gather around the enjoy their food. It’s amazing really!
Big slices, fresh and greasy in a good, late night cravings kind of way :) plenty of options - cheese, pepperoni, veggie, Hawaiian, etc. The chicken was a bit dry? Peperoni was solid. Hawaiian was also good, a little light on the pineapple - not tart enough... Big slices, so I feel like one is enough lol. limited seats inside. Cash preferred. Drinks in the fridge. Condiments on the table - self serve. Hard to park in this neighborhood.
Great experience 2nd time we are here It’s so delicious Very corporative staff They have halal food for Asians Clean store Great customer service Amazing time Good for family Timings are so good If you have craving to want pizza in night it open at 3am Easily get your order So many varieties are available Very quick service Prices are also really nice Combo deal is perfect for families
Awesome slices in the Tenderloin! Great prices and open late. This place is such a hidden gem. It's tiny and with limited seats inside, but definitely grab some slices. They have quite a few other menu options, but I have never tried anything but their pizza pies and slices. Piccolo's has never disappointed me once. Go and check it out and be nice to the employees, they are all good people. Thank you Piccolo's and I will be back soon for a couple slices and a ranch. Cheers 🍻🍻🍻
HALAL rest Ambiance - Low Price - Low Working hours - Open late night, solid to have late night snack Staff - Mr. Mukhtar (owner) is very welcoming and humble person. Every staff is very kind and sweet. Service - Excellent Food: Chicken pizza - fair Meat pizza - excellent 😍 Highly recommend - to have halal pizza & late night options in the city.
The pizza here is awesome! The people who work here are super polite and helpful. They're open until 3am too!😁
Pretty good pizza. I’ve ordered a few times now, it’s fast and the pizza is good. The crust was a little bland and dry but maybe I’m bias because I’m from the east coast and I’m used to a heavily seasoned pie. I put a little butter and seasoning on my crust and it was fire
Amazing delivery experience. Ordered food on a Saturday night and it arrived in about 45 min. The pizza was hot and fresh. It came with Parmesan cheese and hot peppers. I was in the mood for deep dish and Piccolo was one of the few places that delivered deep dish to me. The deep dish options on the menu are just with cheese. If you want other toppings you need to add them. To my surprise that I received was not deep dish, but actually cheese stuffed crust with regular pizza. And oh boy was it delicious! I would highly recommend it to anyone!
The pizza at this location is, frankly, underwhelming, especially if you’ve experienced higher-quality pizza elsewhere. A single slice ranges around $6.40, depending on the variety, but the quality doesn’t justify the price. This is the type of pizza one might reach for late at night, perhaps after a night out, when taste isn’t a primary concern. When fully sober, the pizza’s flavor reveals an unpleasant chemical undertone that’s difficult to overlook. It’s simply not enjoyable for those seeking a satisfying, well-crafted slice. For a genuinely better experience, I recommend Out of Sight Pizza, just a block or two away. Their pizza is more affordable, higher quality, served with excellent customer service, and enjoyed in a clean, welcoming atmosphere. That said, this location serves as a convenient option for late-night cravings when other choices are limited.
They never wear gloves. Touching nasty money from the neighborhood, it’s just a mess in there. If they start wearing gloves the place will be much better
Worst delivery service ever. Every time I order, it takes more than an hour to deliver, even when the restaurant isn’t busy. Food arrives cold, and the service is consistently slow. Very disappointing experience — definitely not ordering again.
