Kilowatt San Francisco Reviews
Friendly staff. They have live music so I'll definitely be coming back. They have a few beers for selection. Some domestic like Coors light and some from local breweries like from Standard deviant.
Great local punk bar. Live bands, cheap beer, and everyone is friendly. I got to see Meathook And The Vital Organs, and Butt Problem. Not exactly high brow.
Great local hub for live music in the heart of the Mission!
Hip spot!! Great service 👏 Sf must.
Undoubtedly Mission's best kept secret and probably the few music venues still standing - KILOWATT was originally known as a great dive amongst neighbors - They've kept the original DIVY vibe but taken it up more than a few notches in experience. No frills, great vibe, great music - under new management - they converted the pool table area at the back into a stage for live music. Caught The Tunnel playing this past weekend and it was over the top. Gentry was pretty decent. A MUST mission POP IN experience. FIVE STARS 🎉
My band played here for the first time last month and the staff were amazing. Love the atmosphere, space, and location. They even had hot cider on the menu, which was perfect for warming up my vocal chords before our set. Had the best time!
Great spot for music and drinks, the staff is super sweet and helpful. No food, other than bar snacks.

Great little venue with good music. Fun stage and live music
a lot of things can happen here. a perfect place for risk takers.

Bought a couple beers, listened to live music on a Friday night with no cover. Bands were unique and space wasn’t too crowded earlier on in the evening so there was room to dance and move around. The overall energy was great and staff cleaned up quickly! All in all, solid place to be on a Friday night without the fuss.
I have never met a group of people who are so sincerely awesome, from the front door to the stage. You always leave with a smile on your face! It's a great place for live music or dancing because they book the best bands and DJs and their expertly made drinks are delicious and affordable. Their event space is so gorgeous! I can't wait to go back. I wish that I could give it 1000 stars!
One of my favorite bars. Usually has great love music, no frills offerings, and I recently learned they even have a private event space upstairs you can rent out. The bartenders are always friendly and fast. It's in a great area for more to do too.
Went to see an ol' friends Metal band play along with 2 others. The staff and the patrons were a friendly and welcoming to all types.Had a great time looking forward to more like it.
Enjoyed "Geriatric punk show day" at Kilowatt, love their daytime shows! Intimate atmosphere, sound is well balanced, attentive staff to the bands. Street food outside for events, well priced cocktails on the inside and the best self serve water bar I've ever seen! Get your parking on Guerrero, Valencia or Dolores, avoid Mission. Come up 9th to avoid freeway traffic and don't forget to get your Lebanese goodies from Mezzo and Moore on 14th and Guerrero!
Great dive bar.. good music.. they had a DJ when I was there... good music
Chill vibe - nice location with a cool crowd. Went here for a show recently and had a great time.
Good venue. Staff is strict on accessibility which is good but wish there were better guidelines so they wouldn’t have to push people around.

Great divey experience good drinks. Great place to see a show
Came by for a show my friend was playing in on a Sunday night. The bar staff was friendly and quick with drinks and the sound was good (but loud). They had free ear plugs at the bar which was great. We were a bit concerned about the smell of gasoline at one point…but quickly learned it was a motorcycle outside. Looking forward to seeing more live music here this year.

Okay... why are the heaters always on? Incredible dart boards, but it was a 75 degree day and the inside of the bar almost gave us heat stroke lol.

The door guy here was a jerk -- a total loser. He wouldn't let our one friend in because he didn't like the way his valid ID looked, and he barred our other friend because someone handed him a balloon outside. Here's a novel idea, if you have a problem with balloons maybe don't let people sit outside your door handing them out. The bartender was nice, and the drinks were fine. Honestly, though, it was hella cramped inside and had bad sound for a purported amplifier store. Below average dive bar.
everytime i go here they always charge double for drinks. tell me why i ordered 2 beers (it was 16 dollars and I tipped 4) and they charged me 20 extra dollars in gratuity after the fact. they do this every. single. time. they are SCAMMERS!! if you go here for a show get drinks before if you dont want to be ripped off.
