Easy to find just look up for the sign and it's miller or whatever time. Great atmosphere with a lil piece of history that goes back almost 100 years. Stop by and catch a vibe and a drink it's gucci

Probably the best bar in the marina, the staff is always accommodating. Never empty but never shoulder to shoulder packed, perfect bar imo. I like their Irish coffee better than Buena Vistas.

My husband Pat and I (kim) always look forward to our visits to Marina Lounge. Bartender Peter greets us like great friends! Patrons are always friendly. We enjoy our conversations with the clientele. As visitors from Sonora they offer great places to enjoy meals and there are many delightful places in neighborhood serving a variety of steak, Asian, Peruvian, burgers etc. Never disappointed. All in walking the close neighborhood. But we shout out to our bartender friend, Peter, for adding fun to our visit. Best part we feel safe in the neighborhood.

The family that owns and runs this establishment is the best. Warm vibes and great drinks. A diamond in the Marina that’s fully of douchey see-and-be-seen spots. Sully is the best, Marina Lounge forever!

Best neighborhood bar in The Marina District!

Popped in (3rd March 2023) for a beer after a day's cycling to Sausalito and back. Really friendly staff and seemed to be a hangout for locals too, who were really friendly also (and didn't seem to mind hosting two invading Brits!). Cash only, but there's an ATM in the bar. Ended up staying for four rounds 😂

I came here recently with my wife and mother-in-law while on vacation in San Francisco. We start bar-hopping across the street, and basically just stopped after we came here. Sully the bartender made our visit a memory rather than just a stop to get some alcohol. We had a great time there with eachother, talking to Sully, and talking to some of the "locals" he introduced us to. We'll come back each time we're back in San Francisco.

Every bartender here is smokin. Can you believe a place that sells Miller in a bottle and pours sweaty Italians all night could be so good? Come here seven nights a week there will always be a handsome devil behind the bar

We were there for Thanksgiving and Sully was working non-stop behind the bar, his wife turned the pool table into a Thanksgiving day spread that could have competed with grandma's dinner! All were invited to a California-style holiday, where you could bring the family you chose to spend the day with, while making new friends if you were interested in doing that. No shopping, cooking or cleaning up. And amazingly they didn't even charge visitors for the meal! Everything was wonderful! Another guest brought an addictive, spicy, NOLA influenced oyster stuffing that we must come back for next year! OMG I don't know if there's any food normally, but we were very lucky to have discovered this bar, any day of the year! And with Sully and his wife's decades in this business, they've created a very friendly, but also extremely professional , local neighborhood bar. They've also lined the walls with great, music-themed photos and Bay Area concert posters that add to the vibe! And while their Irish coffee is as good as The Buena Vista, the price is much more palatable !

Local true bar of and for the people. Open regular bar hours not at 9:00 or 10:00 or even earlier like the trendy newbies. This place reflects the history of the area and greater city. Check it out.

Classic neighborhood bar -- been around forever. Casual, friendly. Sully is a great bartender.

First visit revealed typical SF dark local tavern populated with mostly regulars who all know each other, but don't necessarily like each other.

Friendly staff. Price was acceptable. I am an old, drunk biker who needed to find somewhere to tie one on while on vacation. I'm really glad we came across this place. Not pretentious and filled with the type of characters you'd hope to find drinking at some dive bar in The City. It's a cash only spot so come prepared. But of you don't... There is and ATM inside the bar and a Chase and Golden One right next door.

Lounge is inaccurate, but this is still a great dive. Pool table, cd jukebox that is 3 songs for a buck, and the bartender was exceedingly friendly and awesome. I had a good time here on a Thursday night... Maybe you will too? One star off for the weak beer selection.

I’ve never been to a bar that has an issue with people who go to bars. Maybe don’t work at a bar if you have an issue with people drinking?? The staff definitely prefers men. Not the place to go if you haven’t been going here for decades already.

Good atmosphere but the bartenders are really rude. Surprised by the behavior of people who should know better. Didn’t feel comfortable there as a woman. I feel like the employees prefer an older crowd rather than young people, especially women.
