Great quality food. Reasonable prices. It's a bit tight in there but that's because it's normally busy.

For the price and value, can't really beat it in terms of Dim Sum. Sure there are better quality dim sum if you pay 2x or 3x the price. This is the In-and-Out of Dim Sum places.

The dim sum is always good . .sie mai Rice meals small or large bake pork buns and jook are decently price .

Gr8 HK/Cantonese style dim sum. Zongs (sticky rice wrapped in leaves) are tasty. Pork rib rice is a good lunch pick and runs out fast all the time.

My favorite to-go dim sum on the west side of SF. Been a regular since 2004. All my kids grew up on this great little restaurant.

I come here all the time. Authentic dim sum food. The menu isnt even in English so you kinda have to already be educated with dim sum dishes. So good.

This is a good dim sum take-out shop, with quite a lot of varieties and selections. It's in the neighborhood for many years now. There's always a long line. Its longevity with people (me included) traffic tell how good their dim sum is.

Good food and inside sitting. Chicken feet and spare ribs must try.

The dim sum here is amazing, I always have some trouble ordering though wish they had the English available on the menu as well. They literally have some of the best dim sum you can find. Very flavorful and well made.

GO HERE! The best dim sum everrrr. The menu is not in English so I just point at what looks good. Sometimes I have no idea what it is but it doesn’t matter- I promise you it’ll be delicious. I only spent $15 here and I got SO MUCH FOOD. It was all excellent.

Great mini baked bbq pork buns. Bought dozens for a potluck party. Lots of filling ...

S

Dimsum sizes are larger than when you buy them in a restaurant and definitely cheaper. They don’t put too much fat on a pork Siomai and they add mushrooms and some shrimp.

The quality of their dim sum is comparable to that of formal Chinese restaurant.

The dim sum is amazing and delicious here. The size, price, and quality is just fantastic. I always get the pork and shrimp shumai dim sum. Every time i come to San Fran my first stop is this place. The line is really long but its fast pace. I remember my first time i came and i had trouble ordering but someone in the line helped me translate what i wanted. Come very early so you dont have to wait in line.

Early morning dim sum heaven!! Oooo it was all so good. Shrimp dumplings out of this world flavor. And some shrimp thing I have to go back and get again....so good, Super nice ladies cooking and serving. Baked pork buns not till 11am, but oh the dumplings and shumai. Veggies so good too!! Def recommend, and open 7am!! And chicken feet, if you love them.

Ha gow and Siu Mai, and cha siu bao ( baked n steamed) are my favorites. Especially the cha siu bao, a lof of bbq pork fillings in it. Prices are reasonable in the Sunset area. Ladies who work in the shop are very friendly. Overall for a take out dim sum place is great.

Since this is not a dim sum restaurant, the dim sums are bigger. It has a typical selection of dim sums like har har, siu mei, pork bun, porridge, etc. It's inexpensive, and pretty good. It has a couple small tables for those who wish to eat there.

S
Stephen Schur

This place compares favorably with similar dim sum to-go on Clement Street. The price is right and the wait is usually short. Just don't come too late or they may have sold out of the dumpling of your choice.

S
Sebastian Kok

I always go there for their stuffed egg plant and tofu wrap (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian). I like those a lot. Other items that I have tried are great too such as shumai, har gow, noodles, spare rib rice & baked char siu bao.

Har Gow and Siu Mai are the best bang for your buck this side of Golden Gate. I can’t say it’s the best thing you’ll ever try, but I can say it left me smiling while I copped some lotus root next door.

Dim sum to go! Great place to grab dimsum and chinese bakery items. Fair price, good taste, and decent sized portions.

the service is a little rude and the ambiance is a little less-than-wonderful, but, really, who cares. The food is fan-freaking-tastic! It makes me harken back to the time when I lived here and used to go out for dim sum for breakfast. I miss this wonderful food!

When I'm in the Sunset District in San Francisco, I like to pick up some bao at Mongkok Dim Sum before I go home. They were busier a few years ago, but the line is much shorter now compared to a few years ago after a competitor opened in the area. Their dim sum is still good, and the service is pretty much the same as before. Fast and easy is good for me. I’ll still stop by next time I’m in the area.

Mongjok Dim Sum is as good or better than some of the Dim Sum restaurants around the Bay.

Good prices for delicious food. Shrimp dumpling, and sesame balls with red beans were stand outs. Despite being continuously busy, the staff are very nice and helpful

Really cute place. Cash only. The dumplings and buns I had were a bit cold, but flavour is amazing.

This is a takeout only come in wait your turn, get your treasure, pay in cash and leave quickly because you are in the way of the next customer. The only thing I have seen make these busy ladies smile is a small tip. A rarity in a Chinese takeout. Hey this is San Fran and these ladies work hard to serve up very good dim sum. And they dont have time to small talk. Count our blessings. I can feed 6 people till bursting for 80 bucks.

I love getting dim sum here!! It's so good and so cheap!!! I can get lunch for two people for under $10!!! I would consider the customer service average. They get what you need and go on. I am here often and don't feel recognized. (I am talking almost weekly. For over a year.)

Good deals at five pm. Boxes of dim sum for six dollars. Siu mai was disappointing. It wasn't juicy like the siu mai from Chinatown. They sell four dumplings for $3.20. more on the expensive side.

D
Donna Young

It was ok..even though it is one of the well visited places for dim sum since there is none in that area..it used to be less expensive. ..now it is more I could m.j ot believe on what I got..parking sometimes is bad ..lines since covid etc..only been there once this year once last year...I still think on Clement street the dim sum betwen 7 and 8th Avenue. is alot better and priced wise overall with selections ...not taking about Good Luck either..plus it is much faster at other place..

Your classic counter order dim sum place. Cash only. Shrimp and chive dumplings were not great but the veggie dumplings were sublime. They have small baos which is nice but a little skimpy on the filling....

W
Wendel Tse

The variety and quality of the dim sum is good. My wife especially enjoys the teahouse style chicken feet, but she avoids being served by one lady, maybe the owner, who always tries to hard-sell my wife into buying more than she wants.

S

The line is shorter than the one across street. The pork meat bun is not acceptable since the amount of meat has been shrinking to smaller size.

Dim Sum: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/3 Overall: The dim sum is pretty standard fare in my opinion. The extended review... Dim Sum: Siu Mai - 3/5 - Standard fare in terms of taste and the portion size is moderate compared to other dim sum places. Har Gow - 3/5 - Same as the siu mai, it's standard fare in terms of taste and the portion size is moderate compared to other dim sum places. The wrapper was slightly falling apart so it might have been sitting there a while. Service: 3/5 - Standard service. Ambiance: 3/5 - Similar to other dim sum places.

CHEATERS! Although they of course charge full price, you ONLY get HALF! Don't buy from them. Their hotdog buns (wrapped in a croissant like bun on the outside) are a rip off. They cut the hot dogs in HALF lengthwise. I called the owner out on it. I told her that once customers find out your scheme, they won't come back. Impression is a hard thing to remove. I spent $46 dollars worth of food there yesterday.

Food was okay but we didn’t expect to be buying cold dim sum! Ugh. Took it home and steamed it. At least it was edible hot.

If you want to buy won ton at this place. They force you to buy 2 dozen and they don't post that you have to buy minimum of 2 dozen, I ask why I have to buy 2 dozen they said they pack the won ton in 2 dozen box, I told them how the heck I eat 2 dozens of won ton by myself, that is stupid and no business ethics, i left went to across the street to buy my won ton.

this place was my go to place at odd hours, decent dim sum not the greatest and not the worst. the service is really depends on who is serving you and if you are unfortunate, you will get this grumpy lady with 0 customer service skill. you could tell she really doesn't want to be there, think she might be the owner's sister or something. i tried to avoid her completely and let other go before me just to avoid her serving me. if you been there, you know who i am talking about!

H

Food is good, but they need to replace the cashiers. The old ladies are so rude, bad customer service. I got cold sticky rice and was overcharged. If you don’t pay attention they just charge whatever they want. Never again.

I went in to get some to go dimsum, Shrimp ball, rice noodle etc. Kiddo asked about the hotdog bun, but I already had brought bakery so didn't want to get it. The lady was trying to hard sell it. So we brought 1. It was a big mistake. Kid ate 1/3 still don't see any hotdog. Then once get to it, they slide the hotdog in 1/2 or 1/3. So $2 for a small bun. It's crazy.

My family and I came into this place expecting a full service restaurant but it was tiny place with barely any items. What kind of dimsum place doesn’t have Har Gow? After being mostly ignored, we tried to order but they didn’t have what we wanted in stock and told us to go across to the grocery store to buy it... we did not feel welcome and that possibly might have been because we were mandarin speakers rather than Cantonese. I am not sure what we did to deserve the terrible service as it was from the get to.

C

Don't go after 2:30pm. They don't practice food safety. OR make sure you recook the food to kill whatever lived on it. I have been going for the past 2 years. It's never great but good enough. This time, 1 ordered beef meat balls and threw up from 6pm on for 2 hours. My belly ached, I was nauseous and drooled down the back of my throat. I knew I was in trouble when it was cold, and they didn't offer to heat it up (which they do usually). The food was sitting uncovered, unrefrigerated, and I thought I'm sure it will be fine. Ralllllfffffffff. Oh my gut was torn apart the rest of the evening. I doubt if I'm going back any time soon.

This place is extremely dirty. I have no idea how they passed the health sanitation code. The floors are greasy and wet. The floor tile grouts are black; I dropped a piece of paper and when I picked it up, my fingers had a thick layer of black stuff. The food is mediocre at best. Our dumplings were cold when they came out. Save your time and appetite for something better.

I don’t know how this place is open to the public! The dim sum are the worst I have ever had and also I went with my fiance and we let the person that was attending us that he is allergic to sea food and we ordered four different types of dim sum and thank god that I taste everything first than him because when I taste one of the sim sums it has inside shrimps, what a negligent and mostly horrible situation that they put us in, something could have happen but they don’t care about the health of the public. Also, the indoors don’t look like they clean the areas. This is the worst service I ever had in my life, they seem like they don’t want to talk to you or even attend you, don’t waist your time here just because all the people said that the dim suma are cheap, there are better places with better prices like Delicious Dim Sum.

I received dried pork shu mai and was refused an exchange. The staff member became rude when I ordered by pieces. They don't like to provide utensils and often mix dry and steamed food in one container. I've noticed them putting dropped food back into the steamer to sell to customers who did not have seen what happened. Will not go back again.
