Best value meal I have had in San Francisco! $12 for sushi, full chicken thigh, full cup of miso soup, tempura shrimp, rice and tempera vegetables. Best quality for price.

Small space, warm inside on hot days so get your order to go. I got the tempura mix. The shrimp were perfect, the veggies were too clunky and the batter wasn’t as crisp, plus needed more cooking. The cucumber salad was good with the imitation crab, not really pickled through when biting in. Great service.

My experience with visiting Sushi Kinta was very satisfying. The Sushi Kinta dining room area was closed during my visit. I did notice that the seating area is small offering 5 tables with 2 seating. There is a window counter for eating but this is also limited to 4 chairs. My favorite items are the vegetable rolls and California rolls. The owners are generous with portions and offer a free cup of Miso soup on each order. I thought it was interesting that the diner offers canned Olong tea and canned Green Tea. I believe the Sushi diner is busy because the food is so fresh and quickly made. I highly recommend a visit.

I don’t typically leave reviews but I had to for this restaurant. Incredible sushi, especially for the price! The fish was super fresh and they prepared it very quickly. Perfect option for grab and go sushi, highly recommend. The presentation speaks for itself!

Sushi Kinta has an interesting fusion with japanese food and cantonese taste. It is really worth a try. The teriyaki chicken is spot-on and the teriyaki salmon is unique. I had the chicken udon noodles and it reminded me of hot pot during Chinese New Year! Overall, a quickly served and homely meal! 5 stars!

Fast. Fresh. Friendly. Best sushi or sashimi lunch you will find within a mile. Same day catch, and the chef is preparing it right in front of you. This place is not about hot food or ambience. It’s the fish. And the price is about half what you would pay at a restaurant with table service.

Cozy restaurant that exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely friendly - the owner opened the door and gave a very warm welcome. Food was delicious and came out quick. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely check it out.

Really good prices for a sushi place! Got a deluxe lunch box and some udon soup. Aslo got California rolls to-go. Everything was really tasty. Great sushi place and good prices!

They’re awesome. I LOVE their chicken. Hard to find a friendlier staff at the Embarcadero.

Fast service! A little pricey, but worth it for a healthy late lunch in the city.. I had the philly and dynamite rolls (pictured)

This is a great little place to have sushi for lunch. I ordered a salmon teriyaki box and there was a generous portion of salmon, rice, salad, and veggies. My husband had a sushi box and said that it was very good. The prices are reasonable considering the location. The restaurant's very small so there's not much seating but it's possible to use a couple of picnic tables outside.

Incredibly fresh sushi at reasonable prices. Lunchtime is the best (freshest fish), but I've ordered for dinner many times and always had a great experience. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Great little mom and pop sushi spot, perfect for lunch. Fresh fish and not pretentious

Wow! Under $20 for a chirashi bowl with thick cuts of really good quality fish? A pleasant surprise in downtown SF. They’re focused on takeout (we ate by the water) but there’s a small dining area as well.

Both is actually great. However, served in plastic bowls although I chose to eat in. Vibe not that good, very small and doesn’t look clean enough.

Small, quaint little shop. Service was friendly and quick. I got a deluxe lunch box to go. Its was $14 before tip, hard to beat that in SF in 2025.

Service was fast and friendly. We order the Lunch Deluxe box which was nice and reasonable priced.

Nice staff. Sad sushi. Some of the lowest quality fish you can buy but the price is right! If you're a captive audience in Embarcadero Center and in need of a simple tuna roll with all the Dixon's (by which I mean rice and nori), then this is your go to if nothing else is open.

3.5 stars. The ramen noodle is good but the pork broth was not full of flavor. I didn't like eating hot soup in a plastic bowl even though I dined in. They are not fans of people who choose to eat but cater to the pick up group. Low price point but next time I'll pay more for robust flavor & actual utensils and bowl.

Friendly staff, convenient take out set up, and low prices, but sadly the food is not good. The chicken teriyaki was grey and tasted terrible. I had to toss it.
