What a great bar! Jason C is so nice and he really knows his drinks! He really made us feel special. As an added bonus, the food is great here too. We're planning to come an hour early for all our flights from now on! Update: just ate dinner and Jason is still here! Still the best cocktails at SFO and Jason is still the best! Highly recommended still ...

Great bartender Jason treated us very well. Just one minor thing: a stout would be the cherry on top. Maybe a Murphy?

Shout out to the cool bartender/janitor. People! Tapas and Taps is the place you need to be in SFO International. Big TVs, Reasonable Priced and Pliny the Elder on Tap. Hell Yeah, Excellent! Go there, and say high to Jason for me.

We found this bar at the last minute before closing thank goodness. They have 4 big tv for sports and a Great selection of beers and wines. The Bartender Jason was very helpful and welcoming. So glad we are not having to deal with those stupid annoying kiosks popping up everywhere else. Would definitely recommend stopping here while in SFO.

We arrived right at what was closing time in hopes of catching the 2nd half of the Copa America game and having a some beers. Jason could have easily told us that they were closing but had us seated with cold beers within 2 minutes. He also advised us that the restaurant that supplies the food was also closing but he could get in a food order for us. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Jason was on his “A” game and made sure we got everything we needed. Hope they can extend the hours so you can catch sporting events on their large screen setup. Thanks Jason!

Jason is amazing. I arrived super early for my flight, as he was opening the place. He let me have a seat, introduced himself, and then continued to be a great server. Truly the best way to kill time at SFO.

We had the best experience at Tapas and Taps with Jason. Can’t believe we were in an airport, he is amazing! Fabulous service and just all around a great experience. What a super nice guy! We would come back just for the pleasure of having a burger and a beer and talking to him. Been coming here for years, and it’s so good to see a familiar face… especially his! The only downside is the TVs…they could use an upgrade.

Needed a break from the terminal chaos, so my travel companion and I sat down at Tapas and Taps for a quick bite. We decided to share a bottle of wine and an order of buffalo wings. The food was great. The wings came out hot, fresh, and had a fantastic kick to them—definitely hit the spot. It was a nice, civilized way to spend an hour before boarding. The only reason I’m not giving a perfect score is the service. Our server was incredibly nice, but she seemed to have about ten things on her mind at once. She kept coming back to our table before we were ready, practically hovering while we tried to decide on the wine, and seemed eager to rush us through the process. It wasn't rude, just very distracted. A little patience goes a long way, and I wish we hadn't felt so hurried. Great food, just hope the service is a bit more relaxed next time.

Great beer selection but there are no tapas here, just burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Terrible name for a place like this. Great service by Jason, top notch. Needs mezcal.

Crappy service is the signature here. Empty restaurant where they seem happiest to chase away customers. Better to go through security than waste time negotiating with their “ no personal things on the table” policy.

I had a disappointing experience at Potrero Grill - Tapas & Taps at SFO. Their menu does not list the prices of draft beers, which creates a misleading situation for unsuspecting travelers. I ordered a "Pliny the Elder" draft beer, assuming it would cost around $10 (typical for airport bars). To my shock, I was charged $16 for a single 22oz beer, as noted on my receipt. Another beer, "805," was priced at $15 for the same size. When I questioned the staff, they admitted that beer prices were intentionally omitted from the menu because the owner prefers "dynamic pricing." This is clearly a tactic to overcharge customers, especially one-time travelers who might not notice. To appease me, they offered a free beer and claimed the menu would be updated soon, but I doubt any real changes will occur. This experience felt like a deliberate attempt to exploit customers. If you decide to eat or drink here, be very cautious and confirm prices upfront to avoid being overcharged.

Has to be the worst over priced cocktail I ever had. 15$ for a extra sweet lemonade on the name of margarita. And the bartender Sonia is rude and acts high and mighty. When asked if she can do something to fix the drink. She rudely shouted no on my husbands face.yikes

Just left the bar, hot dog was good, good beer, but the lady who served me when noticed that I gave no tip when mad at me and call me “maldita” in front of everybody, super rude and unprofessional. I asked if everything was okay and she said no, I think I gave you a good service and when I walked out she called me that. What a terrible first impression for who just arrived in San Francisco.

A rude woman yelled at me as I was leaving just because I left a 5% tip. Very unpleasant experience.

At first glance, the bar creates a good impression. However, once you’re a customer, it quickly becomes apparent that you are not valued. The service is unacceptably slow, requiring multiple requests just to receive drinks or the bill. Additionally, after selecting “No Tip,” my credit card was suddenly declined, and when paying in cash, I was immediately handed the tip receipt without any subtlety. The waiter was notably rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this bar to anyone.

Three years ago I visited this airport for the first time and I made a quick stop here to get beer before a long international trip. I got my id checked and total was 8-9 bucks and I left a one dollar tip. That was still 12.5 percent and there was nothing for me I felt was a friendly service . I didn’t finish a drink and stayed there quick. I look way younger in white people’s eyes so I think I would have never made a stop to get alcohol in a American bar setting when I dont see single Asian Person. The bartender stared me with some hostility when I got my luggage up and down passing them.

Located in the SFO Int’lTerminal food court, the seating area was completely empty and blends with the food court seating. The server/bartender came over and stated (in a not so nice tone) that the area was a bar and we could not sit there. This is fine but you may have more patrons if you act a little friendlier and who knows maybe I would have ordered a drink.
