The Dubliner San Francisco Reviews
Best local bar in Noe Valley!! It's a place everyone knows your name. Bar is super clean and very friendly!
The best!!! Come here and ask : where is Jess??? Then enjoy yourself
Service 10/10. Super friendly and flexible. Really neighborhood pub vibes. Only downside is that they don’t offer food.
Great neighborhood bar that gets lively enough without being obnoxious or packed. The staff is super friendly and very generous with their pours! Solid happy hour deals and the electronic dart game in the back is a great way to kill time. Highly recommend if you're in the area, and would even suggest visiting if you're not.
Perfect neighborhood bar. My wife and I stayed in an airbnb around the corner for 4 days, and hung out there every night after being tourists all day. The bartenders and regulars made us feel like we were completely at home
Been here several times and always leave with a smile on my face. Great people, great service and great drinks. What more could you ask for? A pinball machine? Yeah they have it. Darts? Yeah that too...what about TVs for the games? YUP!! Go grab a drink, you won't be disappointed!
Classic SF dive bar, ONLY not that divey. Bartenders are great, especially Jessica. Very easy on the eyes, very friendly, great taste in music and always has a smile for you and great story. Rumor is she's a hell of a golfer, too. Always worth stopping by. Usually enough of a crowd to make things interesting and never too many so you can't get a drink. Unless local sports are on the many tv's, then the plane is rockin... but that's why got up off the couch, to cheer on the team with local crazies! Winner.
This is a fun, friendly neighborhood bar right on 24th Street in Noe Valley. There are a lot of friendly regulars and the bartenders are top notch, friendly folks. Perfect place for a night out, a day drink or to catch a game. You can even order food from Noe's or Haystack for delivery.
Great atmosphere, good drinks. Friendly bartender. Good selection of tvs and a ton of stools available. Pinball in back. High recommend.
The lady at the bar is fantastic. I’d come back just to see her again but also great drinks and food from across the street makes this place even more likable.
Went there 2 years ago, fun place Good Drinks. I definitely enjoyed it.
Very chill neighborhood place. Old school vibe. A respite from the upscale Noe Valley trend. Great bartenders. Blues on the speakers when the jukebox isn't going.

Unbelievable efficiency by Bartender in keeping drinks flowing and great atmosphere at the venue.

Guinness can't go wrong, super chill bar and tender, play some Chinese dice. Awesome mid-week bar. Light crowd but fun staff. Full bar, but all you need is Guinness, right?

A VERY well-poured pint. Very warm and friendly pub offering a nice selection of drinks, including the classics. They run Trivia on Thursday nights.
Solid. Not classy, but not a dive either. Not a great beer selection, but not bad. Good for games, and overall good atmosphere. Busy just about every night, but rarely packed. Even a semi-outdoor smoking area for those in need. Overall a great spot to have within walking distance if you live in Noe.
This is a proper old school Irish Pub. I went to watch Game 3 of Warriors vs Cavs and it was amazing to say the least. Despite the overwhelming crowd, the servers were very attentive to us. Looks like this place is really popular among the Noe Valley residents since the bartender knew most people by their first names. We had a couple of Guinesses and the Magnum Red Cider. Prices were pretty reasonable at $6.50 a pint. Not sure if they had any food but they were super chill about getting pizza from nearby Patxi`s, which was awesome. Would definitely come here again to grab a quick drink next time in the Noe Valley neighborhood.
First time here. Sports bar with 11 TVs, see the game from every seat in the bar. Bartender was very friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced, especially considering its San Francisco!

Mary was great. Whoever is the evening guy, is rude and non attentive. This guy needs to pay more attention to the people actually sitting at the bar! This guy is more interested in hanging at the end of the bar doing nothing but talking to his buddies. 18 people in the bar and we are begging to be served ! Loser and will never patron this place after 6 again!

Absolutely so sad that this place was ruined by one bartender. As someone who has been intimately involved with the bar service industry, I am very disappointed that the bartender named franchesca was so inconsiderate and unprofessional. When we ordered three drinks, she took her time getting them but of course we tipped her accordingly. After 30 minutes when I asked her for three glasses of water for our party of three, she responded " we are in a drought I'm only giving you two" and filled up two plastic cups halfway. I was so appalled. This of course, was after she had managed to put all of the tops on the liquor bottles on the shelves. And made me wait for Her to complete the task. Had she asked me politely if it was OK for her to finish, I of course would have said yes out of politeness. But the fact that she made us wait and then did not serve me the full amount of water that I had requested, I was absolutely astounded. She defended herself when questioned about it saying that she has done this for over six years. I have always had a pleasant experience at the Dubliner, but I will not be coming back because of franchesca. As a family of Bartender's in San Francisco, I was mortified that she was representing our city. She must really be going through a horrible life in order to treat a customer with such disrespect when requesting water, especially completely sober.
Well Yelp removed my review because the bar owner must have paid them off. That's okay, I'll add it everywhere else. Just moving to Noe, I was looking for a good bar to make my own. A place that brought the community together. A place to make friends. Unfortunately, the bartender at the Dubliner wanted to make sure that I did not come back. She succeeded. First and foremost, I have never written a review. Not a good one, not a bad one. I have no desire to force feed others my opinion on where they should or should not do business. However, I can't sit by and condone bullying. This is why I'm writing this review. With that being said; last week I decided to stop by the Dubliner for my second time. (the first time was uneventful and pleasant. The English bartender serving me that afternoon was very attentive and funny. ) As I took my seat at the bar, I noticed although the bar was about half full, there was no bartender behind the counter. I waited... and waited... and waited. I joked to the person next to me that "it looks like half the bar has an empty glass". (even though it was not really a joke.) Finally a blonde haired lady got behind the counter. She asked some gentlemen at the end of the bar if they needed a drink (although none of them had empty glasses). She glanced down the bar, I made eye contact and smiled. She didn't smile and did not acknowledge I was waiting for a drink. I waited... and waited... and waited. About 5 minutes into it, she came and asked me what she could get for me. I ordered a beer and set back to watch the game. As I was watching the game, I noticed that the bartender was hanging out at the end of the bar with the gentlemen I noticed from earlier..(ignoring the empty glasses at the bar or the people that just walked in) I then heard her tell someone, "that idiot is playing music again." referring to a red haired girl at the jukebox. She then asked one of them to go play some music. (I guess something she approved) Disgusted by her attitude, I asked for my check. She told me I'd have to pay cash as they don't allow cc's for 1 drink purchases. I told her the fact I only had one drink was due to her lack of attention. I would have been happy to order more but I'd been waiting so long, I had to leave. She didn't care and I ended up having to spend $3.50 to get $20 at an ATM for a $4.25 drink. What a joke. So this is why I'm writing my first and hopefully last review. It's a real shame that what looks like a great place to make friends, is bartended by someone who isn't interested in doing her job. For this, I can't recommend and will not be going back. -J
