Lone Palm San Francisco Reviews
I was told to come here by a local. So glad I made the effort to stop by. The interior is so cozy and has such a New York vibe. A very romantic and hip bar with a super nice crowd. I had a very tasty dirty martini and sat at the bar people watching. I would love to give a shout out to the bartender Chestoni. He was so attentive and kind and made me feel so welcome. Highly recommend this spot.
Love the classy coziness of this place. A chill vibe with electic ambient music in a historic Art Deco space. The friendly bartender even made me a custom cocktail when I wanted a coffee beverage. They have a lovely, shady outdoor parklet too.
Love the melancholy name of the place , Lone Palm; Elegant and classy vibe with dim lightening which makes everyone look nice. We were here as last stop for a birthday day party; it turned out to be peace swan song for a wild night out.
I just transported to 1970 in Florida!! Best dive in the mission. A hidden gem. Most locals even haven't been here.
Favorite bar in SF. Come for the vibes, stay for the strong drinks!

Lone Palm is a GREAT find in SF... so much so, I almost didn't want to write a review. It's a small little neighborhood gem that I'm sure the locals like to keep close to their chest. We stumbled (kinda literally) upon Lone Palm one late Saturday night after an evening of shows and a few drinks. Fortunately, our AirBnB was literally steps away from the LP. We went in for a nightcap. It's a hopping little joint for being tucked away in the lovely little Mission neighborhood. The bartenders took great care of us and kept the drinks flowing. Price is extremely on-point and the pours are generous. We can't highly recommend the Lone Palm enough... truly a secret little gem that the Mission neighborhood is very lucky to have. We plan to be back in the next couple weeks and look forward to visiting again!
Hadn’t been here in years. Always loved it as one of the best neighborhood bars in the city - strong, properly prepared drinks, great music, and nicely focused tap beer selection. Nothing has changed. Walked in and was immediately waited on. While the bartender was making my Manhattan the other bartender asked if I needed anything. That’s good service. I won’t be letting years slip by before I return….you shouldn’t either.
Groovy spot! Great drinks (negroni was 👌👌), lots of space for bigger groups if you get there on the earlier side. Nice vibe for a cozy night!
Lone Palm is a great bar. The ambiance is romantic and classy chic. There are with white table cloths on all the tables lit up by candles. The bartender was very attentive and they mixed/poured great drinks. It's always a good time at the Lone Palm.
Welcoming, authentic neighborhood bar. An institution, they tell you. Super pleasant bartender, mixed crowd, the most modest of Deco decor, low-impact vibe. American bluegrass and surfer rock, soft Irish punk, vintage French pop and more playing on the jukebox. The Munsters on the small screen. What more could you ask?
Absolutely one of my favorite bars in the city. The drinks (I usually go Manhattan here) are delicious and always well sized.
This is my favorite bar in the city. 90% of that reason is for the atmosphere that makes me feel like I'm in Casablanca. There's a weirdly-placed mirror theme going on, plenty of palm trees -- fake and real -- and the ladies' room is freaking cool. Also, friendly, down to earth bartenders.
The table cloths, the ambiance, the outdoor seating create an amazing atmosphere. The bartenders are great, as are their cocktails. The regulars are fun, I might be one of them.
This is, and has been for over a decade, my favorite neighborhood bar. It's best when it's not elbow-to-elbow, which can happen at peak times on the weekends, but the unbearable crowdedness typically doesn't last too long because it's hard to enjoy yourself if you're not seated; almost every square inch of the place is occupied by tables with white tablecloths and candles. And the CRT television playing some classic black-and-white movie or another completes the scene.

Solid place to just get a drink, there's no cocktail menu but ask for Sage, she's got you covered! Most peeps shoot for the old fashioned or some other classics, fantastic date spot cause of the curated music, should be much less divey than other spots around the mission!

It was really nice how they gave us three types of salty snacks : cheese balls which I love, mixed nuts, and…. Bugles! Oh my and I forgot a fourth: goldfish. Like in the Pacifico. This was all round great service. I liked the white table cloths but they were a little sloppy on the table I must admit
Good time! Solid on a weeknight, moody lighting and tasty, decent cocktails. Got a manhattan and a negroni.

So incredibly loud! It’s a shame because the because the place is so cute - the tables and lighting are great and unique but they turn the music up so loud that you can’t hear yourself speak. Would love to go here again if they turn the music down so people can talk.
The scenery was nice, but I was ignored at the bar for a long time on a quiet night when ordering my first round. Feels bad man. They kept pumping the (albeit good) music beyond the ability to hold a conversation, which was frustrating considering the bar was filled with candle lit tables instead of a dancefloor.

Bartenders don’t know how to shake a drink. So they’re technically not bartenders. So easy to do. Can’t even muddle. Don’t go here. Unkind. So rude the second we walked in. Don’t waste your time they don’t wanna waste their time on you.
I am a local critic of bars in San Francisco looking at certain bars, at request. And tonight has been the worst yet. If I could give zero stars I would, firstly. The place isn’t a friendly place to be. I would tell You the name of the bar tender that absolutely bombed my experience but she(at the minimum) didn’t have the training to at least tell me who she was. She presented herself at the lowest of standards as possible. I was there for 30 seconds and I have never been treated as badly than her. I can’t decide what was worse, Her snooty attitude or her awful service towards a customer. Seriously, If you want to be treated than less than what she earns on a weekly basis(which I guarantee is not much) then this is your place. 0/5 if I could.
