Came here late night with my husband. I got the OG burger and fries with mango milk shake. OG burger the one to get. My husband got the El Jefe Burger with onion rings and Ube milkshake. He enjoyed his burger , onion rings and ube milkshake. This place is worth a try if you're in the area. They close really late too.

Uncle boys is a go-to for a late night burger, chicken sandwich, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, fries. They're available on delivery apps, but they also have their own app that they prefer to use to keep prices lower and profits in-house. I've had many good experiences. Mostly doing delivery and takeout with them. Uncle boys has a cool history and I'm glad they're around the area when things tend to close on the earlier side. I think it's tasty food with a good variety of options. They're open late and local. Can't really complain! Personally, I go enough to where I'd be sad if they were gone. Thank you for being an nearby option after a night out or a long day.

Great little neighborhood burger spot. I mostly do take out from there but they do have a parklet. Nothing over the top in terms of food but good stuff and consistent.

My new favorite food place. Burgers were cheap, and were made super quickly. Overall the place had a welcoming neighborhood feel, great burger joint!

Prices have leapt up all across the menu (+$3 to the burgers and onion rings). The onion rings here are still great, but my recent visit has me questioning the value and cleanliness. In my original review, I praised their service and great onion rings. Their service is kind of cold now, and I saw one of the staff grabbing raw bacon with his bare hand which was probably washed, but I did pause to stare for a second. The onion rings are fried to order, which ensures they're perfectly crispy and the onion inside snaps when you bite into them, instead of slipping out of the batter. Also, I got the OG burger with American cheese. It's comparable to a Whopper from Burger King. The patty was slightly crisped, which I liked, but also nice and juicy. However, they could have used a little less salt. Under the top bun, there was ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, then a slice of tomato implanted inside the rings of a red onion, then American cheese with the patty as the last ingredient to the bottom before the pickles adhered to the bottom bun with more mayo. The burger was done in about four minutes despite the cashier saying fifteen minutes. Also, this place used to have customers around the clock. It still gets customers but definitely isn't as busy as it used to be. This restaurant has gone downhill a little, but I'm hopeful they'll recover and still have the same quality of food I remember.

This is a sympathy four star review. It was kind of sad to see all three businesses across the street shut down. I hope Uncle Boy's can stay. We used to come here years ago. Ordering in person at their terminal felt impersonal. The workers were busy having a conversion with themselves and ignoring the customers. No hellos or help with ordering. I had the O.G. burger $9.50 and onion rings $9. My order was for dine-in and they put it a brown paper bag and they didn't ask if I wanted water or anything else and went back to joking with the other employees. They don't bring the food out to the parklet. I'm not sure why I tipped. It is one of those fallacies where the option to tip is at the counter and not after the meal. The little 4oz burger tasted OK. It tasted like a Jumbo Jack but with a toasted bun and whole slice of red onion. I really should have went up to Laurel Village and had a Super Duper burger instead. The service is much better there along with the food. But that's a chain restaurant.

This is my fav burger in the neighborhood but I wouldn't do delivery through their website. The last few times I've tried, something is always missing. I always get a burger and onion rings. Usually the sauce is missing. Sometimes the onion rings. This last time I added a mango milkshake and they didn't bring the milkshake. I got the delivery around 5:30 and called the restaurant. I don't speak Spanish so they couldn't understand me and then after trying and failing to explain I finally talked to another guy who said I had to call back at 9pm or come in. I realize it's just an $8 milkshake but it sucks that no one could help me in the time period where I'd want to be eating it and that no one can even refund it. I'd have to go in person to pick it up and I can't do that right now so I'm just SOL.

Disappointed. My husband and I have been regular customers at this place for at least 6 years. The quality has kept going down to unacceptable. First, they changed the name of the burger, from pool boy to El Hefe totally understandable probably because of the ownership change. Then, they changed the bun bread to be harder, not as soft as it used to be. My go to is Cowboy burger and see the photo for your consideration. The Pattie is burnt! The staff here are always new. And they can't control their quality. The most disgusting burger pattie I've ever seen. Still gave 2 stars because my husband still liked them because it's the closet burger joint he could find.

Ordered DoorDash for an O.G. Burger, add beef patty (double), add grilled onions, add jalapenos. I got this. What's missing?

The worst burger I’ve ever paid for. I’m drunk and food should taste good but uncle boys managed to make it disgusting. Too much ketchup in a burger and overcooked. Honestly, shockingly bad, like surprisingly, like you gotta pay for it to realize wow I just threw 15 bucks down the drain
