United Nations Cafe San Francisco Reviews
The bacon, egg, and cheese on a everything bagel here was sooo delicious! Everything was cooked just perfect and the bagel was toasted just right. Even though I ordered a white chocolate latte and I’m pretty sure it was just steamed milk with sugar it was still delicious so I still gave them 5 stars because the service here was great and well… the Civic Center will always be Civic Center which I’m clearly aware of my demographics. My pictures are more updated meaning there is only a pick up window now and a few seats outside.
I believe it's a couple that runs this place they are very sweet and kind and polite and professional and the prices are really good and everything tastes absolutely delicious and they have candy and gum and all sorts of other things they even sell umbrellas they have teas and all sorts of coffees I highly recommend if you ever are in the Union square area of San Francisco
Wow, one of the best croissant sandwiches I've had in SF! 🥪 I got the turkey croissant 13C order with everything and it did not disappoint! So delicious and perfect for lunch. And their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and filling too! Few tables to sit by the takeout window and other chairs in the UN Plaza area are available. Right next to Bart station and super friendly service. $5 minimum for cards. It's only a takeout window.
Rain or Shine! You can't beat their quality or price on a small/tall dirty chai almond milk latte 😋 Let Kim & Sam know LoVe sent you! 💕 Happy Year of the Fire Horse y'all
They are perfect to me. (This pic was after a 30 min commute and it was still my favorite bagel sandwich I've had in years). Also currently sipping on their Vietnamese coffee which is very nice. True definition of hidden gem imo.
The best Egg salad sandwich and Vietnamese Ice Coffee for only $13.75 Everything else in the menu is delicious my coworkers usually get theTuna Sandwich, not to mention the warm smile. highly recommended if you’re in the neighborhood
Nothing fancy. This is a large part of what makes it wonderful. The folks who run the shop are super friendly, and they get to know their customers. They will gladly build a custom breakfast sandwhichfor me, and remember my preference for cream cheese egg and sausage. They also will put tomato and avocado on it for me. I can get out of there with Sandwhich, ice coffer, and donut for less than $15. You can't beat that in the city.

Very friendly staff, quick service, good food, decent prices. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich which was yummy but they used like nacho cheese or something which was unexpected and not preferred. But overall great experience
This is my go-to sandwich place in the area. Great quality food at a decent price, friendly staff, fresh ingredients. Highly recommend!
Tiny counter-serve cafe with a very friendly man and woman running the place. The food and the prices are good and the selection is very good given the tiny space. No seating inside; hardly room for two customers to stand inside. If you're looking for a good sandwich or a beverage I recommend you let the nice couple help you out. There's usually a few small tables with chairs just outside the door.
Fantastic small spot! Kim and Peng-Loing are extremely friendly and welcoming. If you're a vegetarian, they'll prepare a bagel for you with avocado, jalapeno peppers, cheese, mustard, lettuce and tomato which is not on the menu but simply delicious and with 5.45 USD fairly priced, considering the location in the middle of UN Plaza/Civic Center and that the bagel is an entire dinner. Last but not least: the vietnamese coffee is a treat! Would go back regularly if I'd work at the SF public library more often.
The national Cafe is an extraordinary place to be. It is a place where you get that old feeling this is just a nice place to be to get great service with a smile. Kim and Sam in my opinion is what gratitude politeness and kindness looks like for a community
The woman who works behind the counter is super friendly and has wonderful customer service. I definitely come here twice a week because of the great food, drinks and customer service.
I essentially come here for the classic breakfast sandwiches. Their take on a classic egg and cheese is fantastic. You can get yours on a bagel (which honestly is just fine), bread, or a croissant. Plus all the classic breakfast meats are available. If you want to be indulgent, get the “6C”. Super nice folks that I’m happy to support.
They are the best! The make such a solid bacon egg and cheese that hits every time! They are so kind and nice! I been going for 9+ years and they don’t miss! Thank you for feeding me🥰
Lovely hidden gem right outside the BART. Great food, exceptional workers- even gave us a free banana in our order! 10/10 recommend!
Great bagel sandwiches especially for the price. Got a delicious everything bagel with breakfast sausage for about $8 on my way to Bart.
Take out only but great food, service, and price. Very affordable and huge sandwiches.

Credit card can be used for $5 more shopping. I went there about 10:00 am, only few items left..

I was here 4 years ago during my American roadtrip. And I even made a second trip here on purpose. Really very good sandwiches at a good price. Thanks for that!
Great mom and pop, Sam and Kim make you feel welcome. Coffees always good and (seriously) Kim makes killer sandwiches made to order.

The bagel sandwich with sausage bacon egg and cheese was tasty. The service was fast and friendly. The location was convenient on my way to the library. I think I paid $10 and change. overall a good place to stop for a quick sandwich. 👍

Service is down to earth and offerings are just average eats and drinks. Located in a area that's ok during daytime, but as evening draws to a close, you better know school of hard knocks is all about. Silver lining is the ATM available if you find yourself out of reach from your back or emergency.

This is a hard one. The people who work there are very friendly. However this place has been shut down several times before because of the way they keep it clean. In the past I've seen roaches and Nets over the donuts which they keep uncovered. Hopefully this has changed with their reopening. But I'm not willing to give it another try.
