Had the one each of the Chicken, Kale, and Spinach empanadas. They were all great. Made for a great casual lunch.

On my way to school and I saw this cute restaurant and stopped in. I will be back to pick up some empanadas and coffee. Checked out their cinnamon bun and it was yummy. Love how nice staff is and clean the restaurant is.

Delicious authentic empanadas. The cashier was kind and we tried chicken gaucho, three cheese, and banana empanadas. All perfect and tasteful with awesome sauces on side. Just hot inside on summer. If you like Latin food, you need to try it. Quick service.

Solid empanada, perfect for a savory snack to carry you over to meal time. Have two for light lunch, three for a filling sit-down. Salteña — though with some slight variations, gets the essentials right — complete with stewed beef, peppers, boiled egg and olives.

I have a soft spot for Argentinian food (and any dumpling/empanada/calzone-type food, period), and was walking by this place and couldn't resist stopping in. I ordered the Salteña Beef, Aji Gallina, and Sweet Corn empanadas and all three were delicious, though I think next time I go back I would skip the Salteña Beef and order the classic Argentine Beef instead. Salteña Beef was unique with the addition of the olives and it was still good, but I think my heart/stomach just preferred the classic. The hot sauce was delicious addition to all 3 empanadas, though they are certainly tasty on their own too. I also couldn't resist ordering the banana and caramel pastelito for desserts, and have zero regrets. Highly recommend. The cherry on top was that at the last minute I noticed they also serve mate! It was the perfect strength and temperature when I took it to go. I asked for light honey added to the tea and I still feel like it was too much, so I would ask for much much less honey next time.

Awesome selection of vegan and vegetarian empanadas, soups, and salads available. I had the super kale and California veggie and loved both. The white bean soup is a perfect warming comfort food on a cold day. Staff were super friendly and helpful. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Many delicious flavors, all fresh with plenty of filling inside each! Fair prices. Friendly and helpful service, and with the bonus of a very clean bathroom. We will be back with friends and family!

Best empanadas in SF hands down. I tried the beef empanada and a spinach and cheese; both equally as good. Couldn't take a pic of the beef though because i ate it too quick. I also tried the dessert empanada stuffed with banana and something else (vanilla?) Sooo good. The thing i like about this place the most, is the empanadas arent pre-cooked and sitting under glass for 4 hours before it's put in the microwave for you, like some places. Instead their empanadas are made to order... hallelujah! Theres another place that sells empanadas at embarkadero, but they are twice as expensive and half as small. If you're in the Mission you have to try one.. they're small enough to eat while walking around but also filling too. Bravo Venga!

Great place for some good priced empanadas. Tons of variety and great options for all. I really enjoy the chimicurri sauce as well.

The food is so nice! And they also got wine, among other beverages! The guy working there is super cool, ask for his recommendations when you are not certain about what to order, it can’t go wrong! :D

Well...Here's the deal. I had intended on eating at a restaurant around the corner that specializes in all that's pork, but when I found a place to park I was pretty much in front of the Venga Empanadas Restaurant. So I went in and picked up an Amazing lunch. Some would call it fate...but I call it Devine Intervention because the white bean soup was heavenly! I couldn't help myself to add some ham and a splash of heavy cream to it but even without my sideline interference...it was Spectacular! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Lots of options for flaky, tasty empanadas, nice staff, casual vibes, and prices that won't leave you with too big a hole in your wallet. Good spot in a good location in the Mission. Check it out!

The empanadas were delicious. The sauces are a bit on the light side but the empanadas really are packed with flavor so that balances out very well. I got the Chicken and Spicy Beef both were incredible. The place took 20mins to prepare them for some reason so just account for that if you wanna grab something quick. This is not as quick as you might think.

The empanadas are amazing—honestly some of the best I’ve had so far! They offer a great variety and are super filling. Definitely try the sangria—they do a fantastic job with it. Thank you Karina for your patience and attentiveness!

We were exploring Valencia and came across this place. Wife and I loved the empanadas and will be back for sure. Had a sweet one and California veggie. Sauces were good too. Clean restaurant and restroom and a very nice and helpful young lady took our order

The empanadas here are next-level- crispy, flavorful, and generously filled. Whether you’re into classic beef or something more unique, they nail it every time. Special shoutout to Karina, who was incredibly thoughtful and attentive- she made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming, which is rare in most business these days!

Decent empanadas. Went there a little bit ago and wasn’t super memorable to be honest. Nice seating inside, we sat by the window. A few vegetarian options but not many. 1-2 empanadas did not feel filling enough for a meal in my opinion.

Several vegetarian options. Tried the mushroom, spinach and Mediterranean. All were delicious with plenty of filling inside! The chimichurri was delicious. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Took them to go but had no idea of telling which one was which until you opened them up. They are about 7 bucks a piece.

Prices are reasonable- a quinoa salad at 6.75 and an empanada for 3.25. They brought out my spicy beef empanada toasted and it was delicious(chunky meat, good spice balance, flavorful and not too salty)!

The empanadas were very good but too expensive, I had two empanadas and one Jamaica and it was 22.50. Also, they didn’t have that much meat inside and they were pretty small. But on a more positive, the staff was very nice and the chimichurri they give you with your empanadas is delicious.

I tried the salteña and the chorizo empanadas, honestly my favs, super good! Service was nice and fast too. The only thing is it gets way too hot inside, not really comfy to sit and eat. I even had to ask for a bag to take my food to go cuz it was just too hot 😅

I could've done without this one. They have an impressive selection of empanadas for a good price and good service as well. But when I bit in, the beautiful little empanadas left much to be desired. The dough was dusty tasting, not rich and fresh like I expected; one empanada filled with cheese was great; the second with some chicken was mediocre; and the third filled with zucchinis and mushrooms was bad.
