As a real Persian person, Real Kabob really lives up to its name! I’m not even a huge meat fan in general, but the kabob here is so juicy & well-seasoned I forget I’m eating an animal. I always get the Koobideh plate, cucumber yogurt, and a yummy Coke Zero. I come here multiple times a week and the food quality, portions, and customer service always exceeds my high expectations. This is definitely my go-to spot for authentic food that feels like home!

I’ve ordered meal prep from here twice and it was delicious! Their chicken and their beef is really good and I love the veggies they serve too. My mom and I tried their chickpea hummus and eggplant hummus with pitas and it was amazing. The staff is friendly and I would come back again!

First time trying this place. Didn't know what to expect. Orders kabobs and chicken breast. Meat was juicy, tender, and delicious. Got thr hummus with it. Hummus tasted really good. I would recommend this place for sure.

Thoroughly enjoyed my wrap here! I chose the chicken thigh lavash wrap and it tasted fresh both in terms of the seasoned chicken and crisp and salad inside. And for under 10 bucks, it’s very reasonable! Friendly and patient manager (owner?) as well! Loved that they had outdoor seating as well!

Everything was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and super generous portions. The beef skewers with jalapeño were absolutely perfect, juicy and full of flavor! 🔥 But the real star? The hummus! 😍 I asked for it with mint, and wow… that combo was something else. So refreshing and unique! 🌿💛. It’s mostly a take-out place, but they do have a few outdoor tables if you want to sit and enjoy the meal right there.

I’ve been around the world having bbq. I am from Morocco. I know good food so I don’t get impressed easily and I was blown away! Everything was soooooo good! The lamb was superb! I’ve had lamb in the most prestigious french restaurants in the Bay and it every time it was garbage cus it was not cured correctly. This is the 1st time I had properly cured lamb in like 10 years in this county. Organic from Australia,No gaminess, perfect! Anyway Eeerything looked good so I ordered so much food for me and my friend 2 people. It was enough for like 6 to 8 people! So I thought we will have leftovers for dinner, We couldn’t stop eating and finished it! I was so happy and sick full at the same time lol. Best persian bbq! The owner was there. He was very nice, turns out he is a reggae drummer too, cool guy. 10/10!! I will be back once I digest this in 20 days. I think I will fast for now.

If you get a chance to talk to Ray you will not regret it. The service is great and somehow the food is even better. Everything is fresh made daily and you can taste the freshness. I will definitely be making another trip back.

The food here is delicious. Probably the best beef kababs in San Jose. The other entrees are great as well. I just wish it was easier to order. They stopped answering the phone a few years ago so if I want the food, I physically go there to order and then wait. Please bring back the phone ordering!

The Zereshk plate has the red raisin like stuff on the rice. Has the consistency of dried cranberry but much sweeter than dried white raisins. Presentation wise, the food looked good but the food lacked much taste. The rice was fluffy but had no spices or flavor to it. The rice was bland and really relied on the kabobs. The Zereshk suffered here because with the sweet raisin on top of the rice, the dish tasted sweet without the savory. The chicken (thigh meat) was a bid overdone, I can't imagine just how much more overdone had we chosen the breast meat. The beef kabob was the only highlight to the overall meal. The ground beef had flavor and seasoning.

I have been going to this fast food restaurant(to go food) from time to time until today. I decided to put an end to my business with them forever. I ordered my food when I picked it up they didn't put any utensils ,sumac,bread. I asked the cashier if i can get some bread and sumac .she told me it doesn't come with it !! i informed her those always included with my food. She rudely told me that cashier made a mistake. When I finished my food I returned the bread to her and told her what she said was very rude,I am not coming back there anymore. This place wants to charge for everything ,bread,sumac.and food quality is horrible and they are way overpriced. Overall horrible experience today. NEVER AGAIN.
