The people who work here are amazing. They are always so personable and sweet. The food and freshly made coffees are always perfect to start a day. All their food and baked goods is made from scratch from the family who owns the business and it's all so amazing! It surprised me how good everything was coming here but now I'm a regular and have no regrets at all. If you're going to frequent or even try out a coffee shop come here first. You'd be supporting local and you'll have a fantastic experience.

Nice place in a shady spot. Sandwiches and hot or cold non-alcoholic beverages. The funny thing I noticed is not so much the twin tree trunks going from the floor through the ceiling, but rather how good the onions on my sandwich were. They were just raw, red onions but they actually tasted really good. They didn't overpower the other flavors in the sandwich like the onions in other sandwich shops do. These onions were flavorful, spicy, peppery, all without having that indescribable je ne sais quoi that make the presence of other onions unpleasant. The staff is also nice to talk to.

The Tree House is a wonderful addition to downtown Boulder Creek. I had the pleasure of my first lunch there last week and look forward to visiting again soon. The interior has been updated and offers a cozy, rustic vibe with plenty of outdoor seating. I really enjoyed my Tree House salad and my cold brew coffee, both delicious! The staff is friendly and capable, doing a terrific job of serving the community fresh fare in a clean, comfortable environment. Great food, drinks and folks at the Tree House Cafe!

The food and coffee are amazing. The space is great. You can look over the brook waters of San lorenzo River. There's a tree sticking out of the building which actually adds to the charm. It's raining right now and it's dripping through which I don't mind it at all. Again it's an actual tree in the whole building. Service is great too!

We stayed in Boulder Creek for 6 nights and came here every morning! The coffee is amazing and the food is great as well. The atmosphere is a perfect way to start the day and my little 2 year old loved the children's library while we ate there on the last morning. We will for sure be back if ever in Boulder Creek again.

Great cafe! Good selection of coffees, teas, sandwiches, burritos (meat and vegetarian), for breakfast and lunch. A nice, welcoming space to hang out and work on your laptop for a while. Love the tables with view of the creek and the inside redwood tree. A funky old building but they've done a nice job of updating and cleaning up the space.

Love this place. Small family owned business with small town vibe. Built around a redwood tree! Not open for indoor dining right now but when they are they have shelves of games and books for patrons to use while visiting. Serves a great cup of Chai, coffee and a very good breakfast including a few vegetarian options. Really glad the community came together to see this little spot through the pandemic. ❤

I love supporting the local businesses in small towns. Service is almost always great and in my experience food is pretty top notch. Tree House is no different. Every time I go in there (currently everything is to go-Jan 2021) I'm treated well and I've never ever been disappointed in any of the food or drinks I've ordered from there.

Just what we needed! We were coming from big basin and needed a great cup of coffee and breakfast and we just happen to pass the tree house cafe! The lady at the counter was absolutely lovely, my 12oz latte was perfect, and my breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant was heavenly! I wish I could have posted a photo but I was too hungry but I highly recommend this place!!

I didn’t come here for far too long because I don’t drink coffee, but the food is great. Try the tuna sandwich (“The Bob”). Ask for oil and vinegar on it, as it was originally offered. Toasty sour roll with some oil and tuna salad with balsamic drizzled on it is incredible. I use balsamic on all my tuna sandwiches now (the olive oil needs a robust bread to work, which I usually don’t have). But I keep coming back for that perfectly proportioned, lovingly made sandwich with ripe and fresh veggies.

Yesterday, the Pastrami Sandwich Special was advertised on an outside sign and immediately caught my attention. It came with a side, so I chose the pasta salad. I could only eat half of it. Great job on both. The Cobb Salad with Chicken is also out of this world! My grandkids love their ice cream as well.

We were so fortunate to find this place during a recent visit to the area! It became our chosen breakfast spot. Great food, wonderfully kind people, a redwood growing through the building, and the best compliment you can imagine from a 15-year old: "This is better than" some giant and ubiquitous chain coffee place.

J
JR McKee

I love this place. I've been here many times over the last 30 years and they never disappoint. This place is down to earth, friendly, they serve great coffee, food and their customer service is top shelf....add ambiance with the eclectic interior and you've got a great go to location that never disappoints. On my last visit I had a breakfast sandwich and a coffee refill. I will continue to go back...there's such a good vibe here.

They warned the person ahead of me that the kitchen was a bit busy, so I just got a maple bar and an oat chai. The maple bar was great and super fresh, the chai was also quite enjoyable! I’ll have to come back when they’re less busy to try a breakfast sandwich.

Awesome breakfast / lunch spot in Boulder Creek! Love coming through here on bike rides of a bite to eat. Got their breakfast burrito, was awesome. And the staff is so nice!

Our favorite breakfast spot on the mountain!! We’re on vacation and this place keeps us coming back for more - the breakfast burritos were VERY deliciously filling, coffee strong & piping hot (iced was yummy too), and a special spot to watch the creek as we planned our day. The staff were warm & friendly with helpful recommendations.

This a family run coffee shop and cafe. Top notch quality. Every drink I have received from here has been top shelf, and I have never eaten anything from here I didn't absolutely love. The customer service and warmth here cannot be surpassed. So spoiled is my family now, that we find that only when we are out of town on extended trips, do we get coffee anywhere else. Then we say to one another, "It's not as good as Treehouse."

M

Cute, quirky café with the expected variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, coffees etcetera. Friendly staff, plenty of seating, good cappuccinos and milkshakes, creek side location. The main attraction, and why my kids initially fell in love with the place, is the huge redwood tree growing up through the roof! A must see if you come through town! I also want to add that there is a play corner for the kids and a changing station in the restroom.

Unique and cute little tree house (literally- there is a giant redwood inside). Great coffees and teas and good sandwiches that can be made to order. One downside is the wait time. It's usually 15 to 20 minutes wait for anything you order

S
Sarah

They make a mean avocado toast on sourdough bread with cucumber and tomatoes and you can get either scrambled eggs or a hard boiled egg or egg salad on that sandwich as well. I had it with a hard boiled egg which was wonderful. Their bagel cream cheese and locks is pretty much the best one you can get in the county. Their coffee is from Santa Cruz coffee roasting company and they always have a choice of light roast medium roast and dark roast which is very accommodating. Their bathroom is not up and running yet post pandemic so take that into account if you're going to go there. You do wait online - which usually isn't a long line at all - to put your order in but then they bring it to where you're sitting. The staff is very friendly. All in all a lovely place and if you eat outside you can look at the mountains and it's beautiful

Treehouse is a nice and kind and cozy place. It's a great place to grab a coffee and maybe a little snack. The food is a little expensive for what you get, but everyone is nice there and there is plenty of space to sit and why the views it the window.

First time back since it changed names. The young lady at the counter was soo friendly and pleasant to talk with. I ordered a ham/cheese criossant, it was pretty good. Slightly burned at the top but not too bad. $6.75 is a little higher than what I normally pay for the same item at other coffee shops. I love the interior. There are Redwoods inside the cafe. Its really cool to see, and the seating inaide has a relax comfy feeling to it. There are clean restrooms available inside. Next time I will try the coffee and update the review with coffee photos.

The only reason why I ended up here was because the coffee just up the street tasted pretty much like water. So I had to go down the street to try their soy latte which actually tasted like coffee. Pretty good actually! I didn’t get any food, but we sat in the dining area right next to the redwood trees. The trees are a pretty cool touch, but the platform that we sat on was slanted like it was gonna fall down the side of the hill any second, so their dining experience comes with a little bit of an adrenaline thrill lol

Nice nice people! Great crispy bacon on my sandwich!! Second time there the bathrooms Were working which is a must for me 🤣😉 You are serving caffeine after all! Ask for salt and pepper on your sandwich if you want it, or the eggs come plain. Nice atmosphere, but no heat fyi. After two days in a power outage and a cabin that was 49 degrees, I had hoped to warm up there😏 At least it was warmer in the window seat and with coffee in-hand 😉Four stars for atmosphere because no space heaters

This is a very quaint and local restaurant. We went for lunch and I can say that they have very good food, however they didn't have hamburgers. The building is very interesting in the fact it is literally a house with a tree in the middle of it. I like these unusual and unique themes for the area. However, the grounds have played its toll on the building because it seems that some of it has slipped down the hill a little and has made the floor and walls uneven and crooked.

I always buy my breakfast and coffee from here. I like all employees there but today there was an old and rude lady. I was ordering my coffee and I was on the phone with my mom accidentally touched to speaker on the phone and she was mad and louder to tell me put your phone down and AirPods on. Also, taking my order with a mad acting. I was in shock and could not say anything. I didn’t like it. Maybe I could not say anything this time but next time will not be like that.
