We had a fabulous meal here on a Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the middle of winter. It's a beautiful setting, the food was fresh and delicious and knowing that we were going to share the server even split the food for our plates. I highly recommend.

Very cute little restaurant with great sandwiches. I had the Catch on Rye, and my wife who doesn't like fish thought it tasted great! Loved the music choices that were played while we ate lunch

Prob one of the best sandwich/salad shops I've tried. We got the catch on rye salmon sandwich and the curry power bowl (with an extra side of dressing) and both were delicious. My partner is still nursing/savoring the rest of the sandwich and I can't stop sneaking bites. Had a yummy chai and caramel oat bar thingy too. This is totally gonna become a regular stop on our up-north adventures.

These were, and I can not stress this enough, the greatest sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. The salmon sandwich on pumpernickel was perfection. The drink of the day was refreshing and fun. The decor is beautiful and the staff are very sweet. Highly recommend!

Love getting to look up at the floor to ceiling wall to wall map of lake Superior while eating delicious sandwiches with quality ingredients. Conveniently right across from Castle Danger Brewing if you need some eats with your beers.

Loved the turkey apple melt! Paired wonderfully with their house made curry chicken wild rice soup. The food is definitely made with love here. Would love to visit this place again.

We came here for lunch because of the reviews, and every positive review is merited. We had a great sandwich (perfectly cooked salmon with a great sauce) and clearly homemade tortilla soup with fresh lime, cilantro and avocado. soup. Fabulous lunch.

Stopped for lunch and it was SO GOOD! I had the salmon bowl; the ingredients were fresh, the flavors were perfect together. My husband had the dillicious sandwich and it truly was as advertised! We loved the infused water! The inside was fun and quirky and the service was friendly. Highly recommend!

If you’re in Two Harbors or driving thru and craving something better than fast food, Madeira Bistro is the spot. My sister and I stopped in for lunch and shared the Hiker Sandwich along with the soup of the day (tortilla soup). Perfect call on a rainy day by the Big Lake. The Hiker Sandwich was spot on: fresh pumpernickel bread, tender pastrami, and zesty mustard with just the right kick. The tortilla soup delivered exactly what you’d hope for; flavorful broth with beans and corn, topped with crunchy tortilla strips and a little lime wedge for brightness. Comfort food done right. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a designer’s twist—fun interior decorations and wall art that give the space personality. While we were there, a few locals came in for lunch, which is always a good sign. Service is counter-style, you order up front and they bring your meal out to you. For anyone passing through Two Harbors, this spot is a no-brainer. Skip the drive-thru and treat yourself to a meal that tastes homemade. And when you’re done, pop across the street to Castle Danger Brewery where you can even order your bistro meal to go and enjoy it with a pint. You betcha!

Really yummy food! Great special selection. I got the chicken salad sandwich and the bread was really soft and the sandwich had a real good crunch, definitely high on the list of sandwiches I've had. The lemonade was flavorful and not horribly sweet. Lady at the counter was super sweet and the seating selection is good.

This was such a cute place to stop in two harbors. The great reviews are clearly earned, but my friend and I were still pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food here. We stopped in for a quick lunch, I got the Italian veggie wrap and my friend, a long time turkey sandwich connoisseur, got the “Northern dillight.” She proclaimed it to be the “best turkey sandwich of my life”, which I think speaks for itself. My food was good too, and the chocolate chip cookies were thoroughly enjoyed, and the hibiscus tea lemonade. Kind, quick service, stop in for sure if you have time. *They have a note on their menu about being VERY nut forward and that people with severe nut allergies are not recommended to eat here. However, I have severe nut allergies and I did not have any issues, so I would say just clarify your needs with the staff and they seem happy to accommodate!

Small bistro in Two Harbors. Ordered the Madiera Bowls with Hibiscus Lemonade and a lemon cookie. Everything was delicious!

Incredible spot for lunch! Menu contains mostly sandwiches, salads/bowls, and a rotating soup. I got the Northern Delight sandwich and the Curried Chicken Wild Rice soup. The soup was fantastic and perfect for a rainy day. The sandwich was also very good and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything tastes very fresh and clean.

Madeira Bistro is a true gem! Fresh, healthy meals in an area saturated with bars and grills. It was our favorite meal during our visit. We wish that we could have tried every item on the menu because it all sounded fantastic. The staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Make sure not to miss out on the almond croissant cookie.

My family of five stopped here on our trip traveling the north shore and absolutely loved it! The food was spectacular. Two of us had different bowls and three had sandwiches. Definitely spring for the hibiscus lemonade and the trail cookie too! Absolutely yum! It was fairly busy for the size of the restaurant, but we didn't wait long for our food at all. The service is top notch! I will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Such a cute place in Two Harbors that we popped into on our way to Split Rock Light House. I really loved stumbling upon this cafe. I had the Madeira salad and it was fantastic and fresh. My daughter had the Turkey Cheddar Melt and said it was delicious. The atmosphere is so sweet and the service was friendly and helpful. Such a great find and a perfect break point if you’re on your way North.

Truly splendid in each and every way. The hibiscus lemonade deserves its own review IMO ☺️ but the sandwiches, salads and soups were all amazing too! Friendliest people too!! Loved it.

Oh my. What a gem! We loved, loved, loved the artichoke chicken sandwich & the harvest bowl that we split. That sandwich was just amazing! The chicken was so tender & the buns soft & fresh. Servers were friendly & such a cute little place to enjoy lunch with a friend! Thank you! We highly recommend!! Kim 🇨🇦

The wild one (wild rice) sandwich was delicious! I would definitely eat here again. You order at the counter, seat yourself, and take your dishes to the back wall when finished. On a Sunday at noon, it took 30 minutes for my food to arrive at my table.

Great food, cute space and friendly service! It’s refreshing to find healthy (and tasty) choices, in a small town. We enjoyed dinner so much we went back for breakfast. Highly recommend!

Decent little place if you want fairly healthy food. We had a very long wait time. It’s seems to be a popular spot
