Banh Mi & Coffee

I’m so happy to see this shop is still open. I started coming here when I was a sophomore at the high school nearby. The two ladies who work here are so kind, welcoming, and hospitable(I know, bad wording for this time right now but I can’t find a better word!) I went in here once and by the second time I came back, I was greeted with a warm “The usual?” Of course I’m sure this is much harder to achieve with masks! They have an amazingggg selection of hot breakfast sandwiches, hot and cold beverages, pastries/donuts( though I warn you they’re gone soon!!) My personal favorite is the breakfast sandwich that includes... sourdough bread, egg, bacon(or sausage, depending what kinda day it is) and cheese. It’s out in a few minutes and ready to enjoy! I love how they serve it, it’s so asymmetrical and pleasing and it’s cut across! I remember buying a maple donut for my friend from here and she LOVED it! I’ve tried the curry sandwich, the combo I believe and they’re all so great. That being said I haven’t had time to visit as this isn’t on my home to school route anymore, I will happily visit tomorrow and get some sandwiches and maybe some coffee for the ride back home. You can taste the love they put into this shop. There is also beverages and snacks. Support your local businesses, this is one I hold dear to my heart.

I LOVE this place! $6 grilled chicken sandwich is amazing. There’s never a long wait and the owners are so sweet! It’s my go to spot for something quick on the go and honestly one of the best kept secrets in San Rafael !

Since I’ve moved to the Bay Area from Houston, an international city with LOTS of great Vietnamese food, I’ve been in search of my fave pick me up, Cafe Su Da, iced Vietnamese coffee. This place makes the best I’ve had hands down. Give it a try, perfect mix every time.

The atmosphere is basic but the sandwiches are stellar. He’s about to close the shop so go get one before he retires. I’m from socal and miss a good, traditional, Vietnamese Sandi! Anytime I’m passing through or in San Rafael, I stop and grab a couple.

Great BBQ pork, extremely reasonable prices, and the Vietnamese coffee is sweet but also still has a strong coffee taste to it which I prefer. Even though I appreciate getting in and out quickly, this place deserves lines out the door all day

I'm always looking for legit Vietnamese spots in Marin as they are hard to come by. Stopped by this small to go Vietnamese sandwich shop today and was pleasantly surprised by the combination sandwich. Price was reasonable at $6 for each sandwich option. Baguette was warn and crispy and all fixings were on point. Will definitely be back.

Not the most impressive in appearance but had my food in five minutes and it was as my wife said the freshest Banh Mi we ever had. Sad to here it is closing soon. Will be missed.

I got the combo bang mi and I was not impressed. The bread was hard in areas and falling off while I was eating it. The meat didn’t seemed old.
