ShariNori Santa Ana Reviews
5 stars. We usually went to kawamata seafood for poki after surf. My “carpool mate ” found this place in Santa Ana today and we decided to try it out. The place is a new built modern food plaza, great vibe . Great place Hanging out with foodie friends. OK, let talk about the food: 5 star with great tastes. There is no storefronts for ShariNori and We found the center-kitchen mode really benefits customers and the owner—-a great saving on storefront rental and be able to focus and offer more quality food. Pics attached. Recommended.
As fresh and beautifully presented as you can get with this price point. Order ahead and then pick up and eat in the 4th street market open seating area. Don’t come late to your pick up time as your raw seafood might be sitting there unrefrigerated…
Fresh, high quality fish, properly dry-aged selections, and innovative garnishes. When "simple" sushi is lauded for its depth and complexity, this is what they are talking about. Friendly and dedicated staff, too.
We wanted to have sushi from the comfort of our own home and do we ordered a platter from ShariNori for takeout. The box was beautifully laid out, and the nigiris were delicious, each kind of fish distinct in flavor. Adding on some homemade sides, we fed a party of 8.

Definitely try the aged bluefin maguro a the TORO! Been catching and eating my own tuna and others for over 40 years, but to best describe it, it's like the essence of bft sashimi! I tell my friends that they must try it. Many are tuna fishermen too. I'm sure they'll love it.
ShariNori has the best presentation! When I served their sushi platters recently to out of towners from Northern CA they said "Wow the sushi down here is fancy!" Even the chopsticks are nice and also their wasabi that they roll into balls. My sis in law liked the wasabi so much she took the leftovers home .. her home is 2 hrs away too!! Fresh sushi and sashimi presented beautifully .. what more can you ask for.
Amazing food and service! I’ve had their boxes before but their dine-in service was top notch and very memorable! Would definitely come back for special occasions! Thanks Chef Kenn!
Absolutely lovely and an amazing extension to their pop up in 4th street market. Cannot wait to come back. Heavily recommend the 18pc course chef’s choice.
Every dish is an explosion of flavors that meld in your mouth. Chefs have taken time to master their craft, and it shows. Every visit, the dishes get better and better.
Make sure to park at the parking structure: 300 E 5th St, Santa Ana, CA 92701 Meters are limited to 2 hrs and cost about $2/hr. Parking structure is free until 5pm, and then one hour free after that.
Very delicious avocado sushi roll and miso soup!
Good quality sushi, they use real wasabi!
So good. I don't know what else to say.
I went in for a 2 top omakase service for me and my wife. The restaurant was closed down for just us two. We got to meet the chefs and were greeted warmly. We were served a 16 course meal; I have to say the sturgeon fish was to die for. My favorite Nagiri piece was definitively the COD. Overall I enjoyed my experiences and highly recommend.

Quick Summary Located in the 4th Street Market food court, this sushi stall was so unassuming, but had great food (can't imagine a sushi stall that serves dry-aged sushi, but here it is!). The food was great and the prices were fair. Only docking 1 star because they forgot to alarm us when our order was ready (took an hour and our order was already done, but buzzer never rang) Food- 5 stars Mixed tempura- this was pretty good. Batter was done well and they used sweet shrimp, which was quite good Sunomono- very good as well. Ingredients tasted very fresh and delicious Premium omakase- got the most popular box and it was well plated and very delicious. Each bite has its own garnish/sauces so I preferred not to use any soy sauce. You really can taste the dry-age of the fish, and the textures were surprisingly good despite the to-go box feel. With the quantity and quality of fish, the $60+ price tag seemed fair. Service- 4 stars Everyone was friendly, but the only knock was that they never alarmed our ringer so we ended up waiting 1 hour to get our food Bottom Line Excellent food and a wonderful to-go spot. Fantastic sushi stop to try some dry-aged sushi

Plating is beautiful, worth going once for that. Sushi itself is not worth $20, let alone $50.
