Super Cucas Santa Barbara Reviews
Love the selection of vegan items. Burrito was HUGE. Very delicious. Salsa verde was a bit bland but otherwise I would return.
On our way out of Santa Barbara we wanted A really good burrito and stumbled on this spot. The portion and price was so good especially being from the OC. The hot sauce was well flavored and food full of flavor. How anyone can say this was bland doesn’t know what they are talking about. We will be here every time we are in the area.
I TOOK ONE BITE AND WENT STRAIGHT TO BURRITO HEAVEN 🌯😵 The chorizo breakfast burrito at Super Cucas is flavor perfection. Every bite hits harder than the last. I love Super Cucas ❤️
Affordable, amazing food for me when I'm exhausted after work or celebrating with my family. Love it here! The vegan menu is amazing and my omnivore friends and family love it too🌯🌯🌯
Best burritos in town. My partner and I have been eating here for the last three years and always have a delicious experience. They have an entire vegan menu, including vegan cheese and vegan chorizo. So good, so affordable.
Yes, yes yes don't hesitate. Parking in the back, good and fast service beautiful sight you can see the hills from there. Outdoor seating just an awesome place overall. You will not regret it. Vegan options!
Carnitas California burrito is pure perfection. We have had probably 30 of the top 50 ranked burritos in the country. This would easily sit it our top 5.
Always hits the spot no matter what you are in the mood for. They have a huge selection of food, including vegetarian options, and no matter what you end up getting you will be full and happy. I ended up getting the Rajas burrito and I can barely finish 1/4 , I slept well....REALLLLLLYYYYY WELL. The only down side is parking, it's pretty packed Everytime I've come.
Love them & they have ginormous portions! I go a lot. They're all so very kind & helpful. They also have a small butcher section with some veggies. Different drinks to go and some somewhat knots. The picture only shows half of my burrito. 🙊 The seating is outdoors with an umbrella seat or in a loosely enclosed area. There is a bathroom but no handicap bathroom. Tables are handicap accessible.
Breakfast burrito was generous but the flavor was just OK. Not bad at all, but there are better in town. I has a sausage burrito. The restaurant itself is vintage carniceria. Very authentic and comfortable. Not fancy. The staff was super friendly and the food came up quick on a busy Saturday morning.
I don't know how I missed trying this place for so long. It is sort of a "hidden gem," so maybe that's my excuse. It isn't often that a hidden gem keeps winning Best Of awards year after year, especially in a foodie town like Santa Barbara. Super Cucas has a long, well-earned, string of those Best Ofs. My fiance had beef enchiladas and loved them. I went with the shrimp super plate and it was simple but perfect. Rice, grilled fresh vegetables, and grilled shrimp. Absolutely delicious. The service was friendly, the prices are great, and you can even buy all of the ingredients to take home from their market and make your own creation. It's a winner.
My breakfast burrito was… fine. Skimpy cheap meat, no salt on the eggs, salsa not spicy- all very plain for $13. Whole place felt dirty and rundown. Service was very friendly.
It seems like every person I chatted with in Santa Barbara was familiar with Super Cucas, so I'm hoping I just came at an off day? The food, while having massive portion sizes, just simply didn't hit for us. We tried a few different things, but nothing was standout, and overall the food felt as though it was lacking in flavor and quality. The asada tacos were a bit of a mess, and the quesadilla seemed to need a lot more things in it. The carnitas super burrito was decent, but not amazing. Not terrible, but just had higher hopes than what we experienced!
